Guys what do think about the BLACK forged face? Is there something new about to hold better the black finish? Is it worth it? What are your thoughts about wear and tear?

Why would you not change , you want to play at your best every time you go out on a course , why should the brand of ball matter , as long as its keeping your performance up and you feel great with it and hit great shots then why not change , your just handicapping yourself by choosing a ball you perform worse with really

There are many Japanese niche companies that make fantastic irons with their forgery. The one you must include if you want to know the real winner is Endo Forged Epon irons either AF302 vs Mizuno 243, or AF Tour vs Mizuno 241.

I play the previous Ls hazdrus gen 4 x. I hit the new model Ls today with ventus blue tr 6x non velcore today. The new model seems to have a little more pop off the face than my current driver.

Turf interaction is so important! Like you guys said, if you’re not an elite ball striker don’t frustrate yourself with the blades. Off the mat they are super hittable. On the grass, it all changes. 1cm fat in soft conditions it digs in. Hard pan 1cm fat it bounces into the ball.

Like the idea, hence why as a scratch player I play Maxfli or Vice. Really doesn't make a difference. I only switch to firmer spinner four piece balls when I play on faster +11 greens. Save money it's really not worth it for 99.999% of golfers. But every decent golfer should use urathane golf balls to save some shot into or around the green.

I absolutely love my 245s and when your flushing they feel phenomenal but I don’t have the ability to hit every iron available. I am very happy with them though

Maybe my brother is playing the wrong ball. He hits between 158 to 163 ball speed, around a 13.2 launch angle and average drive of 280. I'm hitting around 147 to 153 ball speed, a launch angle of 12.5 to 16, and only getting 240 to 250 distance. These numbers are around mine, a lot lower than my brother's and they are crushing me in distance and about the same as my brother..... don't make much sense. My club speed is between 103 to 107....if I'm really ripping, I hit 111 to 113. And I'm still not hitting those distances numbers. My brother's club head speed is 106 to 110.

I play them, love them. I lost ten yards across the set, but can do whatever I want with them. I only hit a 9 iron 154 now 🥲

I have used many different golf balls, I prefer the Taylor Made TPX5, but play the Bridgestone e9's a lot also. I buy balls that are 30 bucks a dozen, and have to say they are playing just as good as my 50+ dollar golf balls. Since I've tested them out, I can tell you I won't be spending 50+ anymore just for a name. I had my irons fitted so they cost me a bit more....but if you get them stock from 4 to P they are 500 bucks and I will put them up against any irons for distance and forgiveness. Let those 20+ handicap players keep dressing fancy and spending thousands of dollars ( who annoy the sh!t our of me by the way ) keep spending foolishly

everyone talk smack in the sim, where everything is level and shortgrass... pull out the 6 iron tw on a downward slope in a divot, which is why in the real world ppl need walkers and canes

Funny to watch 14 handicap guy who clearly needs the HLs go for the forged. Also what do you mean when you say “Japanese forgery” did Mizuno illegally copy the design of these irons from somebody else lol? It’s Japanese forged or forging😂. Also throwing out any of these irons as “not necessary” just really shows your overall lack of knowledge. Be better guys.

I have played blades, best roundever was with blades. For me, I love the thin top line, I love the thin bottoms also. The gamers are actually only more forgiving on Miss Hits. I think thats the biggest miss conception. That gamers are more forgiving on all hits. Thats wrong pro play blades for a reason. That reason is, on pure hits, the blades are better.

Nice one, fellas- but can you really take out the only hollow body in the name of streamlining? You showed us two guys who have different opinions on hollow bodies, I think they’re weird but it’s ok if they offer one. Seems like 2 JPXs are enough though and I’ve been considering those, thanks

Mizuno doesn’t make a blade, the 241 is a muscle back, the old jpx tour now s-3 is a cavity back And the reason you’re hitting the pro irons better is probably the thin souls which on mats gives you a better strike if you have a steeper swing but on the course they’ll punish you vs a thicker soul The last real blades out there are tigers p7tw and the p730’s which is almost the same iron and I think that’s it. Anything with a bump on the back is considered a muscle back
