This is good. 1:53 The only part of the drum track that was linn was the kick and hi-hat. the clap was Oberheim DMX, the cowbell was Fairlight cmi IIX and idk about the snare was also Fairlight CMI IIX.
omg, the billy idol one. When it came on, i thought "Super Mario 3, underground!" Had never heard the billy idol track until today and can clearly hear this was influential. And also just a great track - love that reverb.

Wish i could zoom up and understand the pattern as you wrote them , specially how to make the claps speedup in Maniac . one of the most instantly recognizeble sound of the 80s . Subscirbed to see other cool 80s drum machine/pattern
i have me linndrum drum sound pack and dexed and dx7 cart god i love it. set fl studio setting to step and load linndrum sounds into Sitala vst and record all the parts in a 0ne go.
Half of these songs, I would never have even figured that it was a drum machine anyway. So either my ears have crapped out or the LinnDrum was incredibly good at imitating live drums
1:53 So according to this video, the cowbell and clap sounds in You Spin Me Right Round come from the Oberheim DMX and Fairlight CMI!😄🤔🧐ruclips.net/video/feYBu8h8P2A/видео.htmlsi=BGl1Xc22XbIFnsq0
Hi, nice channel. One question if you don't mind. Do you program your beats with mono or stereo drum samples? For instance, are all the samples you used for the Thriller beat in mono format?
Hi, that was really quick. Thanks for the reply. I was trying to copy the Thriller beat you did. Which samples did you use for the closed and open hi hats. It looks like you are using the Linndrum sample pack from bedroom producers website.

i like what they did with the claps in “maniac” and how they sped up the pattern
it’s hella nice
The LinnDrum snare drum was heard in the song "Peek-a-Boo" (1982).

Gotta love those LinnDrum sounds. Instant 80s feeling! 😎
Yeah man, I use them everyday
@@lukessoundhouse9903 can i have midi to Thriller [Michael Jackson
The Oberheim DMX was heard in the song "Maniac".
The LinnDrum was heard in the song "Beat It" (1983).
Beat It by Michael Jackson?
Love your bank patches on OB-Xd Luke fantastic
Owning a real LinnDrum I can honestly say you did a wonderful job recreating those patterns aswell as the processing
Oh my god I just love this video. So iconic, synth drums were really iconic.
You should be proud of yourself for putting this together great job
Great video. I used to own a Linndrum back in the days until it burned out. This is great & sounds awesome 👌
Modern talking ymhyms pls!!
I'd love to see how you processed those drums with eq, reverb, compression... The result is awesome
2:10 This is the most perfect

You have such a great channel, great work
Oh, thank you so much!!
Excellent work
This is great! You’ve got such a good ear!
I was curious if you'd do a Prince cut because I know he actually used the LM1
Yeah
He used the LM1 even when it was already out of fashion
Yea would love to see how he programmed When Doves Cry! That would be a great tutorial!

Did the Lin drum come with FL studio
?
@@ramirezwilliam8983 Yes, i think it comes with some Linn samples
Yes, some samples
But you gotta search it up really well
What is your reverb Vst and what are your settings for thriller because I would like to do it again
I don't remember well
But I think I used some impulse response from lexicon or something
can you do LM2 ?
Can you do a breakdown of how you got the sound of these songs? Especially the reverb..
i have me linndrum drum sound pack and dexed and dx7 cart god i love it. set fl studio setting to step and load linndrum sounds into Sitala vst and record all the parts in a 0ne go.
Which pack you used for the linndrum?
Mixed from FL studio factory samples with internet samples
Say, can do Linn 9000, Oberheim DMX, Roland CR-78, TR-808, TR-909, TR-707, TR-727, TR-626, TR-505, TR-606, and R-8 drum patterns next?😄
I can try, yeas
@@lukessoundhouse9903Looking forward to it!😄🤩😎👌
What vst for the prince flange effect?
I just used the stock flanger plugin of FL Studio, and the preset was "classic flanger"
Me encanto el video , GRACIAS , recomiendas el fl studio o el logic pro x para hacer temas tipo 80s ?
Well, I'm using FL studio
But you can use whatever works for you
How to recreate that “Maniac” sound?
Where did you get a Linn9000 Drum Audio Sample?
How did you get the echo and flanger for When Doves Cry?
With factory plugins from FL studio
very impressive. what plugins do you use for effects?
Mostly stocks from FL studio
I think I might have used some lexicon's impulse response also

How did you make the claps in maniac sound so perfect? I’m trying to identify the sequencing and effects used.
just put one midi note after the other in your sequencer as close as possible and you will get that machine gun sound
Actually, zooming the grid and putting the notes very close to one another, but still in tempo
where did you get the Linndrum Drumkit? I also have one but you have a lot more sounds. can you give me that? Would be cool man :-) Keep Up!
Where can I get the LM sounds? 🥺

The thriller one is missing some notes
friend, where did you get the samples from that drum machine?
Some samples are from the internet, some others are stock
Hi, nice channel. One question if you don't mind. Do you program your beats with mono or stereo drum samples? For instance, are all the samples you used for the Thriller beat in mono format?
Hi, thanks for the comment. All the samples were in mono. They were panned on different directions or through digital delays on the mix
Can you tell me the reason for this question? Just curiosity
