    This is good. 1:53 The only part of the drum track that was linn was the kick and hi-hat. the clap was Oberheim DMX, the cowbell was Fairlight cmi IIX and idk about the snare was also Fairlight CMI IIX.

    omg, the billy idol one. When it came on, i thought "Super Mario 3, underground!" Had never heard the billy idol track until today and can clearly hear this was influential. And also just a great track - love that reverb.

      @@ricomajesticNot hard, just detune the side stick. Getting the right amount of phaser is tricky as he used Boss guitar pedal

Wish i could zoom up and understand the pattern as you wrote them , specially how to make the claps speedup in Maniac . one of the most instantly recognizeble sound of the 80s .     i have me linndrum drum sound pack and dexed and dx7 cart god i love it. set fl studio setting to step and load linndrum sounds into Sitala vst and record all the parts in a 0ne go.

      I just used the stock flanger plugin of FL Studio, and the preset was "classic flanger"

    Half of these songs, I would never have even figured that it was a drum machine anyway. So either my ears have crapped out or the LinnDrum was incredibly good at imitating live drums

      just put one midi note after the other in your sequencer as close as possible and you will get that machine gun sound

    Hi, nice channel. One question if you don't mind. Do you program your beats with mono or stereo drum samples? For instance, are all the samples you used for the Thriller beat in mono format?

      Hi, thanks for the comment. All the samples were in mono. They were panned on different directions or through digital delays on the mix

      Hi, that was really quick. Thanks for the reply. I was trying to copy the Thriller beat you did. Which samples did you use for the closed and open hi hats. It looks like you are using the Linndrum sample pack from bedroom producers website.
