You know, I’ve actually met Mushroom George. He’s a really cool and interesting guy. He sold me some really tasty mushrooms, but now, for some reason, I can taste colors. Eh, must be a me problem
As someone who only played the Wii version of Mario Kart, I felt SO much joy and nostalgia when racing in coconut mall and mushroom gorge again. I loved those two courses!

I played wii, ds, 8 (no deluxe), the original and 8 deluxe. There are a few more tracks that I want added but the 3 that are REQUIRED are koopa cape, maple treeway, and the best one, toad factory

I don’t personally play it, but I can totally get behind someone liking Mario Kart Tour. It’s got plenty of awesome new tracks, and a character roster bigger than every other game combined.
That said, Tour is still your typical mobile cash grab gacha hell, and anyone who plays Tour exclusively is not considered a true fan of the series in my eyes.
Edit: okay so apparently the people at Nintendo so have functioning brains, and have realized nobody likes cash-grab gacha schemes. If you didn’t know, they are removing the gacha system, and adding in a battle mode.
I like the way the routes of the tour courses change.
I agree with everything you said, and I think adding the tour tracks in are fine too! Even if the tracks don't look as good as the base game tracks, people put work and effort into the tracks, and I think the people behind it deserve to hear a little more love.
I love how Tour has tracks based on real life places.
Im not even much of a hater of gacha mechanics as long as the game is fun which isn't true for mk tour imo because of how bad the controls are
@@skolped-7781 they work for a mobile game. It’s not supposed to be a mainline entry in the Mario Kart series. It’s just something to pick up and then play for a few minutes to pass time. So who cares if the controls are bad

Donkey kong does have the voice of an angel, I love hearing him sing about coconut cream pies.
"Gorge" in French also means a "Valley" or a "Canyon", it's a "way between two landforms" :)
Il also means "throat" but nothing relates this in this track 😂

I 100% agree about the Tour tracks. We get to have tracks that are set in real places! I personally find it fun to drive through New York Minute and be speeding through Time Square and Central Park, or to drive on Paris Promenade and drive under the Eiffel Tower.

Jaymoji Based and I Agree
I could really recommend to softdrift on ice maps. I think it also works for bikes. It just means you steer with your thumb at a diagonal angle instead of directly to the right or left. It used to be more of a thing in the original MK8 since you'd get the boost faster. But it can help creating the right angles for turns :) It's still a habbit for me.

I loved waluigi pinball the most, it was my favorite track growing up. I do like mushroom gorge, but for me it was all about waluigi pinball

I like the amount of Tour tracks because I personally can't stand Tour but the tracks are cool. I've been especially enjoying Ninja Hideaway and Sidney Sprint.
I was so immensely happy when coconut mall came out on switch, but it was a whole new LEVEL of happiness when mushroom gorge came out. The nostalgia of me and my cousin playing mushroom gorge and coconut mall when I was like 4 years old brings back memories
