- I downloaded a bunch of CUSTOM Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tracks to see what weird and interesting twists people put on the standard tracks. I was really surprised to see what I'd gotten myself into...

THE PROBLEM: although mario kart 8 deluxe has great tracks they have been played to death w/o any new courses in sight
THE SOLUTION: leave it to the mod developers to grab whatever program they use *and make the new courses themselves*

Also for omatsuri circuit I think it is a track from a arcade Mario kart game which believe it or not is a crossover with Pac-Man, the arcade was out for very little time so not a lot of people know about it. “appearances with the Mario franchise in the Mario Kart Arcade games”

The dark Mute city/Serious sity track is very fitting because in the original F-zero, Mute city has 3 varients. Daytime, evening, and night with progressing difficulty.

oh my god a taiko themed mario kart map... i wasn't really paying attention and then i looked up and saw the don and katsu emblems on the floor and immediately went back to the start of the segment to look at all of it
incredible, it really nailed the aesthetic of taiko really well. i dont know if it was original or if it was from the mario kart arcade game (since i know don chan was playable in that game) but its really cool nonetheless and i was very pleasantly surprised
