Another fun thing with coins is the coin race mod. You race a friend through Mario odyssey but every 60 seconds whoever has less coins dies.
What If Mario’s blood is coins?
Then each second, Mario bleeds so this actually makes sense!

Every time you were like "the next mod might be even harder" I was like "no it won't." Speedrunners have beaten the coin mod... barely. The other ones may have been like bashing your head against the wall, but at least you couldn't lose all your progress.
(Also, you probably could have used a cheep cheep to jump up to the boss at the end there. I guess that's equivalent to turning off the mod though.)
