I'd love to have a bomb-omb battlefield track, where you go up the hill avoiding the balls to then use a cannon at the top to glide back down to the start, with the floating islands along the way.
Tick-tock clock has a track so why can't bom-omb battlefield?

Mario Kart needs a Custom track maker. It would make the game perfect
Modnation Racers could've forced Mario Kart to make a track maker. But the game sold poorly.

@@grimaeldragoncaido2393 I still have my old copy. And I played it pretty often for a while. I'm taking a break. That game though 👌. Even the controls felt more engaging than just "Drift here and wait to get a orange spark in your tires". I wish the game sold better. It would really benefit from a port to the switch. But sadly the company that made it shut down in 2018

I'd love to make an underground track where you're weaving through a bug kingdom. you start off having to find your way through dirt tunnels while also passing by giant beetles and grubs. second lap sees you bouncing through silk platforms in the air, but some platforms are traps made by the spider residents (you can tell which ones are traps by the spiders hanging underneath, so it's not completely unfair). third lap takes you through the halls of the bug castle as moth's light your way, ending in front of the bug king's throne.
i'm currently having an obsession towards hollow knight so you can thank that for the inspiration-

I think a 'mario and luigi partners in time' time travel themed course where you go through portals that change the theme of the track would be neat
The Raibow Road mashup idea actually is pretty cool, I'd love see this on the last DLC cup
4:47 my favorites are toad factory, mushroom gorge, koopa cape and daisy circuit for some reasons
Other ones I like are: grumble volcano, rainbow road, bowsers castle, coconut mall and moon view highway
My fav retro tracks were: peach beach, (is it a retro track? I kinda forgot) Yoshi falls, peach’s garden and N64 Bowsers castle (on wii specifically)

I would love a track based on Splatoon with a bunch of screens showing Off the Hook and/or the Squid Sisters performing. I'd call it "Splatfest Speedway".

If I could make a custom track, I would probably make something from the Animal Crossing DLC. Also, Sunshine is the best Mario game.
I wanna see a track that would be called “Arcade Rush” which would have you traverse through a laser tag arena, a bowling area, a arcade area, a pizza place, an obstacle course and a ceiling platforming course with a zip line! I think it would be one lap because of its length

bowser's castle for Wii is a slowed down remix of maple treeway. and they sped up maple treeway and remixed it in the newest paper mario game.
I love playing with custom tracks so it's nice to see them get some recognition.
I just heard the news of Boswer Castle and Maple Treeway being nearly identical for the first time. Yes, it's true. Does it still break me? Yes...

An idea I had was 'Cargo Hold Hideaway.' It takes place in the cargo hold of one of Sunshine Airport's planes with the racers being shrunk down. The main obstacles would be shifting baggage and stowaway rats.

My custom track would be similar to Mario Galaxy’s space junk galaxy. The carts would use anti-gravity wheels, the track would be invisible with twists and turns and only railings and track markers (maybe asteroids) to guide you, all to simulate flying through space.
Seeing Mushroom Peaks be somehow even jankier on MK8 than on MKWii is a sight to behold

If I could make custom tracks, my first one would be driving over Nintendo consoles. Imagine tricking off a Game Boy Advance SP or Nintendo DS/3DS, moving Joy-Con as platforms, driving over the bumps of a Famicom or an SNES, a cartridge in a Nintendo 64 blocking a path being taken out in the 2nd lap a la Thwomp Ruins, a Wiimote and Nunchuk road, heck even getting launched inside a Virtual Boy!

The blue shell became confused by the maps layout and thus got stuck. Usually this can only happen in tracks such as Yoshi Valley, but instead of getting stuck it loops around the track

9:15 funfact, flower candy was with spice candies as some of the original candies when it first became a wide industry instead of just luxury. they had even less staying power than spice candies(which has had licorice candy(which isn't actually flavoured off of licorice, funfact), cinnamon candy(aka spicy candy), and technically chocolate(which has kinda separated from the rest) survive), before the rise of fruit flavours.
I remember playing the maple map when I was kid with my dad!!! It was my favorite map as a kid I hope that they actually add it into the game!

Ngl, Super Mario Sunshine is a legendary game, but it’s really, really hard to say the least. I played through a lot of the levels, & some of the levels had me to the point where I didn’t want to play anymore, but that didn’t stop me from continuing to play it.

I'd love to see a bunch of tracks that are recreated from odyssey, like cascade kingdom, luncheon kingdom, and the bowser kingdom would be a cool different version for bowser's castle. It would also be cool to go through a zoo as well.

An A Hat in Time based track would be fun maybe one based on the Time Rifts or ones based on the individual words like a Nyakuza Metro based track.

If I knew how to make custom tracks, I'd probably make something from Kirby (most likely Air Ride), or Subcon Forest from A Hat in Time. I just feel like Subcon could make for a really interesting track, having you drive through the village, going over the swamp, and maybe even entering the burning part of the forest!

It's amazing how some of these look more official than the DLC.
I'm gonna give a few recommendations on custom tracks to play:
BL has made 3 custom tracks that are all great which are Somnom labrynth (from Mario and Luigi dream team bros), cavi side cliffside (from Mario and Luigi Bowser's inside story) and Creep sea Cape. There is also a really good green hill zone track.
I would LOVE to see or make the Nurburgring or Le Mans in Mario Kart

Mushroom Peaks was made all the way back in 2009, I'm pretty sure it was one of the first custom tracks for Mario Kart Wii
If I would create a custom track, I'd make a track where you go trought the Carnival floats in Brazil, maybe you could go to an hotel, and even pass trought the favelas

If I could, I think I’d make a course based on either Windy gardens Galaxy or Loopdiloop Galaxy.
My course would be called Bio Beach, (Bioluminescent Beach, Bio for short) and it’s essentially a bioluminescent ocean track, fit with glowing coral, fish, and other sea creatures, the soundtrack would be very mellow and calm, similar to the music in Footlight Lane from 3D World :)
I'd make one like Mount Wario or Big Blue, where it is a single massive lap, but its just Moray Towers.

If I could make a custom track, (and I can't) it would be based on my favorite fish and their habitats, such as arapaima, fangtooth, multiple species of angler fish, gulper eels, moray eels, electric eels, (which aren't actually eels, but knifefish) firefly squid, giant squid, Humboldt squid, red-bellied piranha, vampire fish, vampire squid, and some others. Although, looking back at the species I named, there would probably have to be two separate tracks.

I'd so make my track an IKEA, and the driver is small in comparison to the furniture
Ideally, something based on super Mario RPG. Space level with the (power ranger knockoff) enemies might be good. Davie Jones locker (pirate ship, underwater) might also be good. Finally guy casino (just make it look like a casino) could be fun.
I HOPE DAISY CIRCUIT IS PART OF THE DLC PACK BECAUSE MAN THAT WAS LIKE TOP 5 MK WII TRACKS FOR ME!!! my sibling and i would always fight over playing daisy on that map hehe
