8:00 The reason the race ended like that is because there is like a 5 minute time limit for each race. if you spend too long it will automatically end to continue to the next race
Wasn't the time limit supposed to be 9 minutes? Or is the 9 minute time limit just for time trials?

It is actually very possible to play these online. You can do it in friend rooms or if you're too scared like me you can use the LAN play online mod so you don't have to go through Nintendo's servers.

i think it’d be funny if all the classic tracks he played in this video end up appearing in the BCP
(praying for the blue shell cup to just be a bunch of classic rainbow roads)
Someone did a custom Maple Treeway level before it was added to the BCP, so that is possible
The people who make these tracks make better tracks than the ones form the booster course pass.

I love this, not being able to play a lot of the original Mario kart games always made me sad but you have given me hope that some of my favourite maps, and maps that are new to me, will come with this DLC!
I love custom tracks also I would recommend that you use sitbars custom track pack since it replaces every track in the game (and it has all 12 of these ones in it(I think)).

I think the map at 3:49 is based off that mystical city in Pokemon Sword/ Shield.
Glimwood tangle is the forest before the city named Ballonlea. It is the location of the fairy type gym. I was thinking the same thing as soon as I saw this map.

Mystic Tangle and Sunset Forest are actually direct model ports of Wii custom track while Volcanic Skyway is a reimagining of a really old track.
for MKADX bowser castle, it got ported entirely with switch toolbox (then, for the MK8 DX port, Track Studio was used)

Gamecube Mario Circuit is on the Wii version as well, and it is probably one of my top 10 courses just from the chain chomp alone (cuz i love that thing)

Double Dash Mario Circuit was in WII however they completely remade most of the textures from scratch with a few from the rest of the game. also sonic has floating headlights since you forgot to install the extra file that makes all headlights invisible (same thing goes for the propeller in water levels).

Mario Circuit GCN maker here. Though it returned in Wii, I actually ported the GameCube version and enhanced it to fit 8's art style.

Dude, I’m sorry, but it should’ve been painfully obvious that Nintendo wasn’t going to port over the Arcade tracks for a multitude of reasons.
-They showed every game which would have its courses remade back when the BCP was announced and none of them were the Arcade games
-The Arcade games aren’t mainline and were developed by Bandai Namco.
-Having Arcade courses would leave less space for other games
-They’re not gonna port courses over that aren’t in Tour.
