Genuine review...u just got urself a sub
In all honesty anyone who is in art and design will probably fold it completely to draw on. So you were right on that point.
My only concern is the integrated gpu, some say it can handle video editing some say it’s not the idea for it
What chu think I plan doing lil video editing
@@steezusb If it's specked with the 780M it will handle it (just not 4K fluently), i Got the gen 8 Yoga (non 2 in 1) with the 780.. it's more like a dedicated GPU, it''s crazy how powerful the integrated graphics are. They are 1,5 years old and way better in comparison to the latest intel.
You can also game with it... it just takes everything you throw at it. BUT, the 7 gen8 has a 100W tota TDP, the 2 in 1 only have 65W.
Sadly no reviewer out there is talking about it / testing it... I would be interested in the real performance, because I would exchange mine for a 2 in 1.
@@thereisnousernameleft how do I check if it has 780m, lol. I’m new when it comes to the down to deep specks on a laptop. All I know is that I have a Lenovo yoga with integrated GPU.
@@thereisnousernameleft so basically integrated GPU graphics are OK in the video editing world just not for 4K? Because I looked it up online and it said that integrated GPU take a little bit longer with video editing, like playback, and all those things.
I ordered it last night, worked on a surface pro for YEARS with 8gb RAM (no idea how I made that happen haha). Im an artist, so i want to draw on it, light animation, graphic design and video editing. Was thinking so much if I should get this or switch to apple, but I honestly think I made the right decision. Especially since you just dropped this video lol, cant wait for it to ship!
Got the 16inch :)
Have had this laptop for almost a year now.
The laptop is great for schoolwork, video editing, and things of that nature from my experience. The speakers are fantastic. Gaming is extremely limited, due to the shared GPU, which sucks, but it isn't made for games anyways. 7/10 laptop, got it on sale for around $800.
Hi Ben! Would you be able to provide the DPC Latency score for this laptop? I am looking for it everywhere and I am not able to find anything 😔
On the bottom is a sticker that says "ingestion hazard", who the hell tried to eat a laptop?
Hey ben can you review lenovo legion slim 5 16 gen 9 rtx 4070 2024 edition. It’s 1250$ priced right now. I am eagerly waiting to get a review of this laptop 😊😊
Does this come in a 16" and a dedicated gpu? Or that's now left for the 9i.
I currently use the yoga 730 from what 6-7 years ago..
The hinge failed me.. Really early too.
But I really don't want to spend a lot of money.. Around $1000.. And still would love the touch function and a 16" Lenovo laptop..
Any suggestions?
I would also love a recommendation like this. A 16inch with pen would be great. Definitely need a dedicated GPU too.
-Does this one have the WUXGA 45% IPS display?- edit: Nvm he says it in the video. Just bought one like this an was worried about the display. Doesn't look too bad.
Please help I am in dilemma! I really like yoga pro 9i and legion 7i however i can't buy both obviously. I am a CS student but, I like to game and want to have that 4070 of legion 7i and its amazing looks. Legion 7i is kinda cheaper than yoga pro 9i but I think for my gaming need yoga's 4060 will be enough. Need suggestions form y'all. ( I don't care if the ram is soldered)
What kind of pen are you using with the laptop? I'm looking to buy this version in the 16" and I'm not sure which Lenovo pen is compatible with this device, as there are a few pens listed on the Lenovo website.
The pen comes with the computer.
@@Royatias I just bought it and the pen did not come with our laptop so I would like to know this info too
@@EdSanjuan Check the boxes again. I thought i did not get one and it was inside a paper box. The pen is always included.
please review 7i 2 in 1 16 inch 2024
I need a laptop for school but also photo editing. Is the 7i better than the 9i for that?
9i would be better.
why did you not compare it to (ASUS - Zenbook 14 OLED 14” WUXGA Touch Laptop, Intel Core Ultra 7 - Intel Evo Edition - 16GB Memory - 1TB SSD - Jasper Gray) ? both of them are ultra 7
how is the screendoor effect? also compared to 9i 2 in 1?
By screendoor effect, are you asking if you can see between the pixels?
Would this yoga 7i 14, ultra 7 155h be better than the yoga 7i 16, i7 1355u. They are both currently on sale in the UK both priced the same at £799/$1020
@john-gr8in Hi John, I'm also in the UK 👋, and am also looking at the 7i 14”. The designation "h" behind the processor number indicates the processor is performance oriented, whereas the letter "u" signifies that it's low energy consumption oriented (at the expense of performance, obviously).
@@spartanthe300ththermopylae4 thanks for that. In your opinion what would be the better buy both priced at £799. The ultra 7 155h on the 14 inch I believe is newer than the i7 1355u on the 16 inch. I'm swaying towards the 16 inch for the extra screen size.
I got one last year Open Box at Best Buy. Guess how much it was... $250!!!
I Get this laptop for 1.229,00 € with 32GB Ram an 2K Oled and 1TB of Storage
Grate deal.
can I use the 2024 yoga 9 digital pen on the yoga 7 ?
