    Great job on the video Rob! Thanks for taking the time and effort to make this for those of us who couldn't be there.

    Nathan and the CBI Engineers have delivered the most aggressive build on this video. They use the of the most innovative technology using several great approaches on a full size SUV, giving the Sequoia the most powerful stance indeed. My favorite part of the build was the front bumper that encompasses the lightbars & winch, The dual swing arm on the rear bumper is a must. I would love to see that on my 4Runner. Bravo Team CBI!!!

      I think it’s a great build. I’d love to have seen some slightly larger tires on it, and look forward to seeing their other bumper options.

    Just how bad is the rear area with the non-flat storage?

    • @RevereOverland
      @RevereOverland  Год назад

      The back two rows can fold flat (captains seats are optional), which is great for storage or sleeping. Obviously if the 3rd row can’t practically be removed then you’re losing a lot of storage space that could be better utilized. I really need one I can pull the seats out of before I can properly answer 😂

      @@RevereOverland 3rd row needs to go ..we off roaders, car campers, overlanders have no need, want or will ever use the 3rd row, we want towing ,payload ,packing space for our kit cant bolt down a slide out fridge on top of a fold down 3rd row and cargo shelf do like that toyota went back to a solid rear axel

    • @RevereOverland
      @RevereOverland  Год назад +1

      The good thing is that I’m certain companies like SHW Off Road, Goose Gear, and American Adventure Lab will all eventually make seat delete system or flat mounting panels to fill any ugly gaps left from removing the 3rd row.

    I can't believe I'm going to say this, but that last Sequoia is kinda sexy. It has a massive amount of room. I wonder how that translates to how big it feels to drive offroad. I love my Taco, but dang, lol

    • @RevereOverland
      @RevereOverland  Год назад

      I’d imagine a lot like my Tundra. It’s a little more challenging on tight trails, but handles like a dream on rough roads. The 360 camera system and wheel cameras really help getting through the tight spots.

    • @Wklambert
      @Wklambert Год назад

      @@RevereOverland that's probably true, built on the same platform. More weight though, but with this beat, that's probably not a bad thing. Same suspension as the Tundra? If they add DSC, I might be convinced of a trade 😁 (all that room to build in goodies, you could just about fit a king mattress back there lolol)

    • @johnnytorres277

      Toyotas stock offroad mods suck. For example that new "factory" Toyota lift uses cheap, skinny shocks and several people I know have had problems with it. You're much better off getting all the mods aftermarket.

    • @RevereOverland
      @RevereOverland  Год назад

      The 3" TRD kit? Yeah, you're better off with a third party kit. I know the Trailhunter is using armor designed by CBI and a roof rack from Prinsu, so I hope they'll get others involved in the suspension too.
