In a separate note, AWD if not 4*4 is a huge miss.

@@ipsvishnu7 Well I’ve been following Shumi since his overdrive days and Singhee since his Autocar days. While they make brilliant content, off-late their presentation has gotten a bit too lengthy to entertain more mid video ads for revenue while making things unnecessarily complicated and then trying to resolve them.

U can't think of a car like this size without 4 wheel system. The updated alloy specially of harrier is updated version defenders alloys
also pls highlight Harrier, i do know y most of da vlogers not highlating da Harrier.
👉🤔Entire Safari has a roundish shape design,, and from pillar c to rear end they have given it to flat touch which doesn't match,, although Tata harrier is the perfect design entire shape is roundish match with each other
Tata would need new showrooms to match these striking cars

increase the power by 30 -50 BHP and introduce an AWD version. Tata will have a winner with no match
it's a 2 liter diesel engine. to increase the power to 200-220hp, they need to add another turbo which will increase the price and maintenance. suzuki made an awd option to the grand vitara and having a poor sales like only 5-7% are buying it. Mahindra have awd option for the xuv 700 and the sales of awd version are low. the 'jeep' brand is associated with off-roading and only few people are buying the awd version of the jeep compass.
Still there are rumours about an awd version with the ev power train.
such a good product, but what about tata service which still remains hit or a miss, this is the area that they need to really make improvement or it will be still gamble for me at least to go with Tata..
Other than steering everything else is perfect

Build quality and overall fit and finish still a long way to go...I came to know of it from another review by a very well-known car reviewer . How can you release a car with without looking seriously into this areas ? And then you demand 15+ lakhs for a miserably built car . TATA either has to reduce the price to 10 lakh ..or produce a car that worth the money TATA demands .
Above all... all wheel drive model should be available to save the sake and legend of the old safari storme and dicor
These days automotive journalists are making review videos to audience who just wants to consume the content and not focus on the potential customer who is looking for real world inputs to help with his/her decision making process.
In this review, for the first 6 mins or so, whatever the information provided is utterly useless. How many owners are going to use Alexa from the car to control AC in the home or would ever change 13 level settings in their Bosch sound system ???
Whole review looks more like a extended version of narrating the specs.

Tata should use Landrover designers to streamline the design. Still the rear must be re designed. Steering wheel looks crap. All black steering looks good. Still design is not appearing one piece, it looks bits and pieces put together. Should introduce 4x4 . Enhance the torque to 450 nm plus.

Petrol mated to mild hybrid was possible
Atleast tata should give rear wheel drive with differential torque transfer instead of 4×4 its in middle of high end technology

I own a harrier 2021 ane it had flywheel issue… most of the harrier had flywheel issues … please get clarified weather TATA have updated the same …. I also had turbo failure for 31 k driven vehicle… hope this time TATA doesent sell a half baked product

Despite the comprehensive update the overall design lacks the wao factor .
East or West Safari is the best..it has its own loyal fan base.
Why is Tata not considering a petrol version
Why the White seat covers.... mostly the customers dislike the white colour as they get dirty very fast.. previous safari the many didnt opt for the beautiful suv only because of the seat cover colour
inspite of sincere efforts made by the tata why engines are failure?
the car looks great only untill some thing goes wrong in this car and the Technicians at Tata does not know how to fix it then only then people realize their Mistake of Buying a Tata and not a Toyota.

Probably the only unbiased review where you are not complaining about 4x4 or AWD. Man the appeal for this car is absolutely different from a Scorpio N.
Sadly indian buyers are so much dumb that they don't even understand the functionality and purpose for which each and every particular vehicles have been made.
Safari is clearly for those people who wants a class in their feather. No XUV 700 can match the visual appeal of new gen Safari.
Neither no Safari can match the utility or core off-road ability of a Scorpio N.
You ask yourself first which is your purpose? Are you the one who does off-roading on a daily or weekly basis?
Or you want to show your class up with your colleagues in a business meeting?
Questions are simple, but that will bring you your actual decision.

With Tatas your car spends more time with the showroom. I suffering with the second car, a top and Harrier.
Are you fimilar to review luxury car ? Do review thar. There is nithing suede, nothing glossy, nothing illuminated.
As a 1st gen Harrier owner I am drooling so much to upgrade my car to safari 2023 but my experience with their service centers are so enormously bad that I probably don't want anything to do with TATA in near future. I am someone who has given them benefit of doubt every single time they've faltered but they've made it that much hard for me to defend them.
But where they would be going for service hahaha, to those who couldn't fix Tata Indica... Service center sucks
People are crying for AWD and go showroom to buy base variant. AWD variant of famous SUVs have poor sales due to higher prices. A good variant of TATA Safari without AWD will cost you between 26-32 lakh. Imagine the price of an AWD variant.
