6. If a man repeatedly commits the same offenses and does not change, he does not love you. A man who loves you will make an effort to correct his mistakes and not repeat hurtful behavior.

That's lovely. I didn't grow up with a strong masculine presence in my home so I never really learned how a solid masculine male shows love for a woman. I grew up around "strong independent women." I think more women need to learn these lessons. I am learning now as an adult.
My father did his best his father was not a good example of how you treatment a Women so iit became a generational curse that was handed down to me and my sisters,, in which we are trying to heal from these things. It's hard though.

I was with my ex husband for almost 19 years with 3 kids and never felt loved. He never took me out or the kids out as he was always making excuses. I damaged myself by staying in that relationship for so long and was always covering up for him. All these signs mentioned were everything I experienced in my 19 years of being married to that man. Thank goodness I summoned the courage to walk out of that abusive relationship and I am happy as it was the best decision of my life. I think we as women should start loving ourselves.

@@cynthiaziegler6558not necessarily. Some of us have jobs in noisy environments and we are there for 12 hours out of our day. Talking on the phone is not even feasible or allowed there except for during break. I also work midnights so my break times are when most people are asleep anyway. Texting is the only way to communicate on those particular days.
I have also had guys laugh and make fun of my southern accent. Some of them have even had the audacity to put the call on speaker phone so that their buddies can also get a good laugh out of “this dumb hilljack”. I absolutely hate talking on the phone for that reason alone. I have to text someone for a while just to make sure they do have a genuine interest in me and that I can trust them to not do that mess beforehand.
Hi there, i agree with you , a man who loves you will call you throughout the day to make sure you are ok and to hear your voice because he misses you , i learnt the hard way, had a good guy who when i called him at work( he was a doctor) would drop everything, literally, to talk to me , there was never any doubt , he did never not answer, i left him looking for adventure and guess what i found ? The worst narcissistic abuser who mistreated and abused me and lied and cheated , and i thought he was good - looking lol, i lost everything, my pride , my money, my dignity and here i am thinking what was I thinking? Bad men are like a drug , esxciting for a moment, but then you crash down to the floor of reality and there is nothing there, he is just an empty shell, he never loved you , he was just using you and always will…. And in regards to phonecalls, always problematic, never clear , sometimes i was blocked ,sometimes he would go for days without calling me…. He reinforced what I understand about a man truly loving a woman, he will give everything including his money, not this 50/50 lie that is being pushed around in the dating world. Women need to know and accept this truth that if a man does not provide, then he really doesn't love her. Not that you can't provide for yourself, but a when a man loves you he will want and will provide because he sees you as a queen, and will do everything to protect his queen and his house. Sad part is that many will never experience this true love of a man, and many may never find that kind of man. But we should never give up and have faith.

He does not provide or protect and wants to split everything 50/50 even though he makes twice what I do; I'm retired with small pension. He does not maintain our home and spends all his time and money on his rental properties. Everyone and everything is more important than me. I'd rather be single and love myself than be in an unhappy, unfulfilled marriage. Life is too precious to spend it with someone who does not value me. My happiness and peace are too important!

You've confirmed what I really know. I've told my boyfriend twice already about something that upsets me (contact with his ex). Yesterday he confirmed yet again that he's contacted her again. Man this is deep and heartbreaking for me to hear. 5 years married and everything I have been saying about this sour marraige is true. Guess i just needed the truth laid out to me from a truthful person. I have been struggling financially for 2 years paying rent, bills, car repairs, etc without any assistance from the person I thought would have me when I was failing.

These covert narcissists are very insidious. They are good at wearing a mask to reel you in. When they've got their hooks in you, the masks start to slip and in many cases, you are already in too deep. They only way to deal with them (other than grey rocking them) is to run and don't look back.

I had to shutdown a situation because he wasn't calling but claiming he loved me
I was one time engaged to a man, I was emotionally really thirsty and had no reassurance from him, I spoke it out and his response was “that’s what you have are desires and I am not responsible for your desires, that’s your desire not mine”… he did not value my needs. It was like drinking an empty cup. I broke up with him. It was the worst feeling for me to have: being in a relationship and still feeling alone by myself. Love doesn’t hurt.
Just had the same situation after 5 months I had to call it off. Felt lonely in a whole relationship.

I knew one that bought a house and wanted the girlfriend to move in and pay rent lol, it was a fixer upper too. Hahaha. He played himself as she didn't go forward with it. Probably bought the house to use her for money to help pay to flip it. She doesn't give men money so he played himself. She had her own apartment. He had to sell the house as he loss his job during the pandemic. Totally played himself and got karma for being a jerk and trying to use a woman.

I wish my younger self had heard this message. I am so thankful for not ending up married to any of the bad choices I unwisely gave my heart to in the past. I was finally able to forgive myself regarding prior decisions I made romantically (I beat myself up worse than anyone else could) because I didn’t know better then despite my education and success in my career. I really had no idea of what love looked like and on a deeper level feel I was worthy of it. I’m also so very thankful for knowing better now, doing better, and providing a good example for my daughter and son (twins) of what a healthy relationship looks like. May God continue to bless this ministry.

It is sad that a lot of religions preach down to women. This is a lesson like a father would want for his daughter that he truly loves. There are so many men who don't seem to be capable of loving a woman. That included my father. My father was the cheapest man on the planet who took money after my mom's death, yet spent it all on himself while we barely got by, and he never told us that he had received that money, I had to find out from the grand parent. He claims he loved my mother, yet he would be gone for days at a time without a phone call, I saw my mother crying while she took responsibilities, but not him. I knew he didn't really love me, and that lack of love showed in my relationships with men. I finally learned to keep away from toxic men and accept myself, broken and damaged as I am, but I now know that either I will have real love or no man is worth my time or energy. Evil men are everywhere, but they better stay away from me.

RC Blake’s is a life saver, he is the father figure I did not have. I had a dad but he was an alcoholic. I loved him and respected him but he turned our lives upside down and made me have a horrible self esteem because he said some things to me that a father should not ever tell a young girl. It got very toxic. I’m 49 and suffer from ptsd and adhd, depression and anxiety and I have read that I could of been because all the abuse. I was sexually abused by my fathers friends too and when I told him I don’t thing he believed me or just did not know what to do
