SLUPLO Spliter Protection. I’m a little late seeing this video. I’m about to install a front splitter on my C5 ZO6. After seeing this video, I need to get this. Might be easier for me to put it on the splitter before the splitter is installed.

I just purchased a stock C7 stingray and am adding additional mods to enhance the appearance as well as improve performance. Since I just ordered a stage 2 front splitter, I plan on purchasing the sliplo splitter protection to it so as not to damage it by scraping against curbs, speed bumps, or any other obstacles.
I so need the Sliplo Splitter Protection as I modified some bolts to hit first and this looks so much more capable of deflecting those spine chilling grinds...
It definitely is! I will really be putting it to the test when I lower my ZR1.
HorsePower Obsessed Especially after I bought a 17 Z06 with Z07 aero and I agree it was the sweet spot with a being the best deal at the time you suggested it. What I did was to put round nosed screws through nut-plates. Not realizing there was product to deal with it as it doesn’t take much for contact. That said, a great post on what is available and Sliplo will do a much better job as I have managed to get a scrape between screws...

I hate to be a Daniel Downer here, but you can get a lot more protection for splitters and spoilers at much less expense doing what I’ve been doing for over 20 years. I use 1” wide 3M trim adhesive tape to affix five 1” wide aluminum strips, about 1/16” thick, running “bow to stern”. I space them all equally with one in the middle, and one on each far end, etc. They will audibly grind if your car’s snout ventures into danger, and keep your rig off the grinder. Replace any individual strip as required. Add more if you want, just be sure to go front to back. All ingredients are available at any big-box store for less than $20 all in. Embrace the drop.

I have the new 202 c8 and have the stock plastic splitter piece and it bends and doesnt show scratches easy, wondering if i should bother with something like this because itll just make the clearance even lower to the ground.

Definitely need some SLIPLO splitter protection on my GS. Like you, I have only scraped it once but that scrape is significant and drives me crazy! Hope this is able to cover it up and more importantly, protect it from future scrapes.

You can add more if you'd like, but the design of the C7 front lip has it hit in the very front first. The SLIPLO will push it up enough to prevent damage all the way back. I will definitely report back after a few weeks on this product and a lowered car and let you know how it holds up!
That Sliplo Splitter Protection would really come in handy for my 18' CTS-V! The guy that built my house built me a ramp instead of a driveway!
I feel your pain! My driveway at the very end slopes too hard and it can be a pain to get in/out of.
I have to come out at an extreme angle going like 0.1mph to make sure I don't get any suspension movement.
So any C8-Z06 content coming down the pipe?

Sliplo splitter protection rocks! I bought an off-brand universal protector (I forget the name) and it just didn't feel as slick as the Sliplo. Sadly, Sliplo was only available for sale to installers when I was hunting to protect my bumper.

I first saw it on Instagram so you're likely seeing the same stuff. You'll definitely want some with a low sitting front splitter!

The C8 has an official accessory call Scrape Armor. Screws on/much harder/thicker/heavier duty but 5x more expensive (like $500) under the front chin.
