I’d have to say… on a serious note, this vid is currently by far one of the best instructional videos on youtube in relation to installing front lip splitters (in my opinion) I have watched countless others of which fail to thoroughly break down, step by step how he/she actually attaches the lip to the front bumper. You were spot on… Creativity definitely played a part in not only your satisfaction with the overall aesthetics of your car, but also in why I think this is currently one of the best DIY videos. I hardly subscribe to channels but because of the simplicity and straight to the point step by step instructions you provided, you have my subscription. This helped me tremendously when attaching my front splitter on the VW GTI MK6. Much appreciated my friend. It would be cool to see you do a video wrapping your vehicle lol! If you ever decided to do so. Thx again.!✌️
After watching multiple videos on install this is actually the first video where someone is actually informative and explaining step by step. Thank you man awesome video! 🔥🔥🔥
As said previously, this kit does not come with instructions. I am just about to fit to my car. Feel much better now having watched this. Great video, thanks. 👍
Used self tappers all around the front on my lexus is250 base model and the lip flew off on the freewaay hitting almost 95mph sure helped to not scrape my bumper tho
I bought the same front lip with the fins...i screwed up not gluing it with liquid nails and more screws....it broke the front lip at 80mph...i need the lip rods now to hold it down...
Not sure which front lip to get as 2 kinds for sale on eBay one like this 3 pieces and another 4 pieces which connect into 1 lip. I'm thinking this would be easier to fit and more room for fitting better. But like the look of the other one
Great video. Also I thought in Texas you dont need front plates. I live in MN and I have my Front plate between the dash and windshield on the driver side in my BMW and Ive had no problems yet knock on wood.
Gone Traveling I wouldn’t know where or who would sell the wedges. I have an updated video after losing the splitter at 125mph with the self tapping screws. I redid it with nuts and bolts and added rods to the front. I wouldn’t use the screws anyway
MOREE GARAGE yeah I have seen that. I also bought the bolts instead. But the wedges are much needed. Gonna try something else to fill the space. Thanks anyway!
@@JordanMoree 🙈 about 3hrs. First time ever buying these & I thought I could pop them in then drill to secure. Nope! As a lady I wanted to do it all myself & be proud! However, the accurate measuring is not my forte. Who installs these, mechanics, or where do I go?
@@XCCON2009 you could probably pay a shop to put them on. I’d call around first to make sure they’ll do it. Some are picky with bringing your own parts to install.
I have an HOA too. Put em down and pick em up. As far as scraping that all depends on how low your car is. Again I can only attest to my own car but everything has held up thus far.
Mike Johnson you could go that route for sure. It would make for a cleaner looking install for anyone that looked under the car. The self tapping screws have held up nicely though
Other people have said the same thing. Looks like that’s a common thing missing. I would try googling wedges or look on amazon. You may have to drill your own hole.
This is a universal fit. That’s why it comes in 3 pieces so that you can fit it on wider or narrower cars. I’m not 100% sure it will work on a camaro but it should.

MrChapulinsk8 I literally just posted a new video today. Lost mine at 125 last week. Redid everything with nuts, bolts, and washers.
Good video man. I’d turn the side winglets in a touch though just so the curve of the splitter as a whole lines up neatly. Just me though. Hehe
Dude your car is just gorgeous. Nice. 👍🏻👍🏻
I bought the same front lip with the fins...i screwed up not gluing it with liquid nails and more screws....it broke the front lip at 80mph...i need the lip rods now to hold it down...
I had to redo mine as well. Lost it at 125mph. I used nuts, bolts, and washers this time with splitter rods. No issues at all after that at 140mph.
Waiting on my Splitter for my ST. Great vid

Texas requires a front plate. Just another excuse to get pulled over so I keep it on there.
minnesota requires a front plate but i do the same as u and i have had no problems
Nice work man... I'll installing mine tomorrow, hopefully!
Great video.....very informative 👍
Looks great bro! Thanks for the video!
That was awesome 👏🏻
I ordered front one for my toyota camry 2014 but it was small.
Did you ever put another front splitter on yours? I have a 13 camry and really want to put one on.
Good explanation video mate. How did it hold up after one year?
Explain to me how we got the measurements for the spacers?
Dope.. I just got this lip today. . Great video
For your front piece you just screwed it in without a bolt or washer on the other side? It holds well till today?
Nope. I lost it. But bought a new one and did it different.

Good job 👍
how do you know which drill size to use
Where did you get the wedge pieces please mate
Nathan Jenkins Amazon. Just look for squeegees. They usually sell em in a 2-3 to a pack.
Sorry I meant the centre spacers you’ve used
Great video man
Im thinking of getting those on my suzuki swift
If you go up the hill, will it scratch it
Where can I buy the spacers? Just the spacers tho
@@marcocabrera299 that I’m not sure. My splitter came with them.

Hey I'm also in Texas!
Just got a similar set for my subaru legacy. Lol are you in houston by any chance?

Sorry, I’m about 30 minutes south of Dallas. It takes time and A LOT of measuring and remeasuring and remeasuring again.

Will this hold up driveway scrapes n bottoms outs? I have wide body fiber glass trying not to scrape it
hanielbomb I built ramps for the end of the driveway. But I still scrape in other places. Haven’t had issues yet.
MOREE GARAGE I cannot build Taino ramps on my driveway HOA will find me. Will this hold up scrapes protecting my front bumper?

Hey what is the drill bit size you used ?
Cool. Thank you.
Thanks mate nice video what these called and where can I get it from small black square cubes
Thanks
What drill bit did you use to drill holes in the bumper?
is this splitter universal for any car?
Has it lasted since then?
Nope had to add better hardware and rods. The self tappers are not made for higher speed.
I just ordered a kit but damn I might have to pay someone to install that sucker 😟
It’s not bad. Just measure measure measure
Did you install the side skirts ?
Link is at the end of this video.👍🏼
Hey did you end up bolting side and rears or are screws enough for those? Thanks for good video...
I’ve had the car up to 140mph now. Sides and rear are good with just screws
What about 3m tape? Not needed?
I’ve seen people go that route. I feel the screws are more secure. If you ever needed to take it off again tape may be a pain in butt to remove.
@@JordanMoree hey man do you remember the size bolts you put on? Finally got my stuff ready to mount... Thanks for the help
Martin Clayton I honestly don’t remember the exact size but it’s the 2 bolts it came with. I ran to Home Depot and just bought more.
the front doesnt look right in 3 parts especially the overlapping was this for the focus or is it a universal one?
To each his own but I love the look. It is universal but if you have the money I’d def go with a piece made for the car.
@@JordanMoree fr I think it looks low key cool asf😂
Crazy question but would pop rivets be a better option for mounting?
Mike Johnson you could go that route for sure. It would make for a cleaner looking install for anyone that looked under the car. The self tapping screws have held up nicely though
Only thing that's got me against the screws is my intercooler sits so low I dont really have the space for 1 1/2 self tappers
mine didnt come with the spacer things, any idea where to get some from?
Other people have said the same thing. Looks like that’s a common thing missing. I would try googling wedges or look on amazon. You may have to drill your own hole.
@@JordanMoree thanks, what size are they? And what are they made off.
I’d say they’re about 1.5 - 2 inches long and about an inch wide. Made of a rubber material

dude I’d say they’re about an inch at the highest point.

I live in Waxahachie
Any update on your splitter and how well it is actually staying in tact?
SaucyDanny no issues at all. Well worth it

How are they holding up??

Holding up good after the redo
Bro I thought this was Johnny sins in the beginning 😂
same here 😂😂
Just What i needed
is anyone try putting these on hyundai elantra gls 2013?
Do there fit on a se hatchback?
Yes it’s a universal splitter. Just take your time and measure everything out!
Dude. The sides always go BENEATH the center spoiler. You're going to lose the center spoiler at high speed.
Does this fit my 2008 chevy malibu ?
It’s a universal splitter. That’s why it comes in 3 pieces. It should fit.
Nice video! Can you send a link where you all bought them. Thank you
No Prob. I added Links in the description box.
Why are you drilling a hole first can you just screw right into the car ?
You can definitely just screw it in. They’re self tapping screws. The pilot holes I drilled was just to make sure I got them in the right spot.
Does it fit a 2010 camaro?
This is a universal fit. That’s why it comes in 3 pieces so that you can fit it on wider or narrower cars. I’m not 100% sure it will work on a camaro but it should.
