Jo is far too smart to give her the satisfaction. The child has to understand that you are clearly more powerful, and that means the child's little slaps and hits and scratches are really nothing to you.
Interesting how one child hits her sister and all the adults care about is the time out for the older child and not taking care of the younger one that was actually hit and crying. How does that effect the little one that was left alone with her pain?

Yes because unlike most parents jo isn't going to let a 9 year old girl dictate her emotions
Getting mad at her would be giving her the reaction she wanted
@@dillonhall-z2pI think the fact that Jo didn’t give her the reaction she wanted made her more mad
I bet she was the school bully 😂😂😂
How about no😂😂😂😂
Definitely not. Behaving like this when she gets past elementary school will get her pummeled by bigger kids

I pity the poor neighbours having to listen to that racket all the time.

Definitely unacceptable
Yes
She was shouting so much
I agree with this comment I genuinely felt bad for Jo that's totally unacceptable.
If I did any of that I wouldn't be here today
no one in this family other then the dad knows how to manage their emotions and self regulate. supernanny was truly ahead of her time for teaching emotional regulation skills and boundaries that benefit both parents and children!
The dad is off. He's part of the problem

Meds maybe

Definitely on the spectrum, and severe at that
ADHD I think. She craves attention she gets jealous of her sisters very easily but still always plays with them for their attention as well.
I mean... you could just ignore her and stay as separate as possible. Her antics would not matter if the parents kept on putting her in situations where they matter like family dinners.
She doesn't seem to like the company of other humans anyway.

I cannot understand why Jo wasn't recognised for practically rescuing all these families and their children from unbelievable behaviour. She deserves international recognition and not to mention the Royal family.. Jo is just unbelievably patient and truly caring.. Shame on families that cannot control the behaviour of their children. Unbelievable
I agree, the Nobel Peace prize, Congressional Medal of Honor award, for starters, recognizing Jo's contribution to strengthening the social fabric of our society.
I do not know how it works in the UK but she deserves an OBE for her contribution to the British society.

My mom and dad never shouted at me and my sister, never . But it was THAT look when we did something "bad"... THAT look that made us freeze ...
I think when the cameras aren't rolling, these parents are very out of control. These children are presenting learnt behaviours, the language and responses Megan uses don't come from nowhere....
If the kids were being beaten up behind the scenes they would probably be absolutely scared of their parents. What I see is kids that are abusive towards their parents
it was the parent's responsibility to have control in those situations, and they didn't - that's on them. They're the adults. the child's behaviour only improved after the parent's behaviour improved
