The fella who mixed this is an old friend of mine, Josiah Mazzaschi.
We were in a teenage band together, and we would have drinks and listen to Joy Division, New Order, Bauhaus, the whole shebang.
I really love that he worked on this.
    Hats off to you Josiah!!

This is great! The internal politics of New Order are none of my business, but I will say this: the difference between Peter Hook and New Order, today, is that New Order might play Love will tear s apart because they're expected to . . . Hook plays these songs because he wants to. You can tell the difference.

This is exactly it. I went to watch Peter Hook & The Light in Vancouver sometime in 2016-2017, and it felt like they meant every song they played. It was amazing. New Order just seems lazy by comparison. Peter really seems to care about keeping the songs authentic while still putting a new spin on them. I feel like get to see what Joy Division and New Order in its early years must have sound like. I'll go to every show he does around my part of the world.

Un-(-f*ckin')-be-lievable! You guys have succeeded in putting out a JD/NO track which is better than the original(s)! I've never thought I'll ever hear anything like this in my lifetime. I'm covered in goosebumps after the first watch/listening. Peter Hook - your vocals have matured and taken on a life of their own when you sing JD songs. For me, you're singing better than the originals! I'm gonna find a way to come and see Peter Hook & The Light within the next year - it's 34 years since I last saw NO in Finsbury Park. Stay Safe you young gentlemen! And More, Please!

Excellent version with an edgier sound and a perfect production, wow a classic must see on RUclips. The guitar's sound remind me a bit of the brilliant Chameleons UK. Thank you so much Hooky, from Montreal region in Canada.

I just said that to my girl! It's gotten better for sure. I saw him about 10 years ago when he toured playing the two JD albums, it was a bit rough back then.

By the way you are one of my favorite bass players of all time.😎👍✨
