@@WorldsWorstFishing thank you very much. That would be helpful. Maybe you could also make a bait that usually uses soft plastic, but use harder plastic and see if the fish will bite it. You can call it an experiment to prove that soft plastic is better for some baits.
what size hypershift packets are you showing in the video at minute 2:18? It would have been nice to see the pigments mixed without the black (just clear plastisol) to see how it comes out.
Good job as always Chris....thanks for your time to teach us and for entertaining us during these times. I love the back to basics videos but these colorshift videos are sick! Thanks again and be safe.
how often do you have to mix to keep the plastic from burning or will it never go over 350 degrees? once it reaches 350, do you bring down the temp to prevent scorching? I guess the overall question is how likely is it to scorch/burn in this pot over a microwave? awesome video!
@@WorldsWorstFishing thank you for the replay, m8! If you ever want to sent some free baits to the netherlands, Let me know! Would love to try them out 😆
You should definitely try just the greens with the white pearls and just the purples mixed into some black for other batches I feel like they'd look amazing
You had my curiosity, now you have my attention. I've watched your channel for a few months now, and I want to get started in this. Do you have any suggestions on where I should start? Like what molds, whether it be a freehand or the injection molds
Hey hi love the videos I was wondering if you have or ever tried using some food condiments as additives for your lures such as some soy sauce , garlic powder chili powder etc.
Here is a tip I use to make two color worm tails. I shoot a squirt of Pam then take a small brush lightly brush spam on only one side of mold. The unbrushed side holds in place easely to cut and not have to replace tip of tail! Speeds up possess!
Hey Chris, there is a color science that if you mix Red, Blue and Green you get black. I'm thinking with a black base and all of the colors of pigment is why it came out maybe a little darker than expected. The color is cool still and it has it's place. I call this color "Aurora". I think you still did another outstanding job. ✌🏾
My buddy and I poured our first 7" StankX Bape the other night in green with red sparkles and he went and used it yesterday and the first fish he caught was a 6.8lb Bass. StankX makes a great mold.
Dude the purp and green shift is the beez kneez! However, I think the multi shift color will shine in the water under the sun. Sick color would be the pearl color for a belly...nordic and alien for lat line and the bada$ green(ztg?)with a touch of the orangy bronze color. Thanks again dude
I am not sure and definitely not as good as you but I think if the black wasn’t so bark ,if it was more like smoke the color would have showed up better
well you may be right...the black base is what the company recommends for higher saturation of the shifting colors...but mixing them all together def surpresses the effect.

Culd u do this again sometime but pour some each step, each set or individual powder added.......maybe with white or no pigment? I think the multi affect was lost in video translation. Think maybe step by step would help us see the layers and would be awesome to see each step individually.
Got another question for ya man! I've seen some peoples baits some out cloudy, is that the plastic type causing that, or the heat I've seen people heat set baits to get a sheen back. It's not like yours though. Always love seeing you experiment brother! be safe out there
Would be cool to see if there's a visual difference between mixing the pigments into black and pouring a clear skin with the pigment in it, then filling the body up with black.
What would it look like if u didn't add pigment dye (clear plastic only) and used all the color shifts? Might be a clear water killer. U should try mixing some in clear fingernail polish and painting it over a hard bait to see the effect.
Out of curiosity, when you mixed the pigments in at the beginning (around the 6:30 mark or so) and you get that super cook spidering and swirling pattern...if you were to lightly mix it and inject it, would you get striping in the baits?
