*I caught this guy on my 3rd cast. Paired with these 4" trailers. **enjoyable.fishing** recommend slightly modified, I think i trimmed about 3/4 of an inch off of it. Its deadly!*
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
you can if you try..in my experience with the traditional eyes they will eventually come off from time to time during extended use..doing it this way with softer plastic should help that.
Love the new mold. To pour a solid color eye in one pour. All you need is solid a backing plate. That way you can save time and plastic. I think that would be a good option to include with the mold or a separate purchase item. Really enjoy the videos. Tight lines.
Have watched this video many times, just getting into the bait making for personal use. Just rcvd my new eyeball mold from Jason. Also rcvd a modified 4" DR swimbait mold. Instead of the injection ports on the side , I had him put the ports on the top of each bait so doing 2 color laminates will be much easier. Thanks again for all the great info
Wow! Incredible idea! That is a really awesome mold. It's a real privilege to see such genius at work. Stay on the gas pedal my friend, you are on your way to a million subscribers! Stay safe Makin baits
I'm going to have to think long and hard before purchasing this! Oh wait...there is my shipping conformation. That is a crazy cool idea and so glad I seen this video tonight. You are a great salesman for this company. As soon as I seen the title I knew I was buying it. Love the pre-made eyes but to be able to make them yourself is a game changer!
How did you keep the eye balls and bloodlines in place when closing the mold? Wouldn't they move around inside the mold prior to injecting the plastisol?
That's sick! I can't wait to see the final product with a dual injection. Could you do a bloodline with a skin pour? I'm assuming yes but youd probably have to do a little bit of a heating process to get it to bond better. I really want to try and combine all those techniques into a bait
Hi I’m having a problem the plastisol I get is a medium blend and it’s the only one I can get in Canada the problem I’m having is with open pour the plastic when I poured into the mould seems to be shrinking leave divot The top of the mould doesn’t want to fill I’ve heated the mould up quite hot to accommodate the hot plastic to stop shrinkage I thought but it still seems to be happening I’m wondering is it because of the medium plastic that I’m using I sure hope you reply thanks Brad Andrews your friend in Canada by the way great show been following it for a long time
I bet AnglingAI could make an interchangeable plate to create frog eyes. The plate you remove for the final shot could be changed out with the frog/lizard eye plate that creates that slit look.
Hey Chris, early on I was having trouble with the eyes shifting in the mold when shooting. I then strated using a tiny dab of vasaline in the eye socket and that helped keep the eyes in place. Every once in a while I will run into a bonding issue between the eye and the bait. I am wondering if its the vasaline causing that or not enough temperature. I shoot the bait pretty hot.......thaanks for your input.
I am just starting out and have a couple of molds, with no eye sockets. Has anyone used a dab (or little skin skin pour) of clear plastic to hold the eye in place on the side of the mold....'til you shoot the main body color(s) into the mold? Thanks!
Where do you by plastisol I am trying to make soft plastics but I am about to run out of baits to melt and I am going to try to start a company as a 12 year old hopefully it goes good
i seen these eye mold i think it great a guy took the time to come up with this very simple way of making eyes..but selling them might be a patient an you loose everything you ever worked for if they do have patient on eyes
Chris, im having trouble with my new Do-It 4oz. Hand injector. Every so often I have to take it apart and clean out thin bits of plastic that has gotten behind the plunger. If I dont keep it clean it ends up drawing air instead of plastic. Do I need to replace to o-rings or is this normal? I just bought the thing so I figured the orings would be ok but perhaps it sat in the store for a long time before I finally purchased it?
Hey what’s going on my name is trey and I’m 13 and love fishing and I want to make soft plastic baits but I don’t have much money to spend on getting started I have enough money to buy one cheap hand poor mold and eyes for swim baits if I get swim baits so what would u recommend
COOL! So in the future we will have different size swim baits (4,5,6inch) with different size eyes! A 4 inch swimbait with a 1/4 eye or a 4 inch swimbait with a 1/2 eye! Angling AI will have to get a couple more machines to fill orders! (LOL)
Show...the best...muito bom...vamis trazer essa tecnologia parao Brasil....👋👋👋congratulations...Marcelo João....Brasil...Rio Grande do Sul....Canoas City...like
Not sure how your keeping the eyeballs from moving during the injection step. I found that by applying a tiny touch of vasline to the side of the eye that touches the mold made all the difference in the world for me. I was experiencing random eye shift during the injection.
I use vasiline. Take a q-tip and just barely coat the eyeball socket in the mold. That will hold the eye balls in place. You might still have a eyeball wonder, but have have had great sucess.
Very interesting design! Though should be patented immediately, if not already.... I believe next would be injection molds to accomodate these eyes in... jerk and swim baits are my suggestions.... Koodos to AI and Josh!
Be sure to check out the safety tips on using this mold properly starting at 23:12. What an awesome creation this mold is!
The mold design is ingenious, I expect there will be some awesome eye combos in the future !! Sick vid !
Bet now that the mold is figured out it wouldn't be too difficult to do different shaped pupil plates
There needs to be a mold with a variety of eye sizes to make it more practical than buying every size individually. Awesome mold man, love the videos
his mold is absulutley genius
*I caught this guy on my 3rd cast. Paired with these 4" trailers. **enjoyable.fishing** recommend slightly modified, I think i trimmed about 3/4 of an inch off of it. Its deadly!*
Triple injection eye ball? I think they would look very cool
Was thinking will it laminate but you sir pulled out the triple idea. Hats off 👏

That is an engineering marvel. Wow. Super cool. Would love to see the adhesion to the swim bait body if you could “peel” the eye away
you can if you try..in my experience with the traditional eyes they will eventually come off from time to time during extended use..doing it this way with softer plastic should help that.
Great mold and awesome demonstration Chris. Time to spend some more money lol. Angling Ai for the win, yet again. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Thanks 👍 it is an awesome tool to have!
I am so impressed by that mold. Seriously, that is _genius!_ Thanks for sharing!
Awesome job again Chris. The whole shop just sat down and watched your video. We all can't thank you enough!!!!
hope all enjoyed!
Angling Al Do you think with a drill press and a ball bit we could modify other molds by our selves?
@@ZZ430T56 Not without a way to secure the mold and mechanically move the plate. Without that, it will jump on you and be a little unsafe.
That is an amazing mold. Hats off to the engineering y’all came up with. Can’t wait to see future videos with this.
I wonder how a large hand pour swimbait would look with a bunch of suspended eyes in it. Not natural but possibly interesting.
You would have to be careful not to melt the eye balls with pouting hot plastic
Love the new mold. To pour a solid color eye in one pour. All you need is solid a backing plate. That way you can save time and plastic. I think that would be a good option to include with the mold or a separate purchase item. Really enjoy the videos. Tight lines.
We discussed that idea of a solid plate yesterday, might be something he will test

This is an insane mold!! These Angling A.I. folks are on a whole other level. Great demonstration video!
Much appreciated!
I have never made my own lures before somewhat new to fishing but this is awesome. I need it.
You also can add these to any bait with Mend-it or a lighter/soldering iron. No clear dip required
absolutely
You could use the eye mold to make shad spots too. Just use the solid eye. Great mold and great video
Awesome mold, I have been using it since it came out. Thanks for the video.
🙏🙏
What a sweet mold! Guy who made it is a genius
yeah he said the solution hit him one night
Now this is a really neat mold idea.
It's sweet
absolutely brillant..anglingai are killing it well done guys

Este molde es el más increíble que he visto, gracias por compartir. This mold is incredible, thanks 4 sharing
Y’all should try and make some with different types of pupils like reptiles and stuff
Very Cool. Black pupil with Red and or red/orange Iris. . Killer color for bream. The solid eye would be great for making a spot tail minnow or Shad.

Can you use a C block or blending block with them? This is an exciting new mold!
I have a 2 question. 1. Why are you sometime adding salt? 2. When will you do lure for Light rock fishing (Lrf) or light spin...
As my kids used to say Awesome Sauce, great work Josh and Chris. You guys continue to push the envelope on this hobby/business.
We try haha
Great collaboration on a super idea
How did you keep the eye balls and bloodlines in place when closing the mold? Wouldn't they move around inside the mold prior to injecting the plastisol?
Good video I like how you showed the product I can use this eye mold for fly tying there are a wide variety of fly's that you add eyes thank you.

Chris that eye mold is super cool and those swim baits are a winner. 👍
Thanks 👍

HOW CAN I PURCHASE FROM YOU, ?
This content gets better and better every video...killin it Chris!

what those eyes like if you used in from moulds as the frog spots? instead of dripping in plastic or painting them in.
Excellent work. Do you have a favorite bluegill mold?

What spray adhesive are you using for the eyes? Mine vasaline idea works ok but i believe the adhesive might work better
What a cool mold. Josh really put some time in that for sure. #killingthemoldgame💥💥💥
Well dang it I just put in a big order Tuesday at A.I. Now I gotta have this as well lol.
awesome video as always. What if they made a solid plate for one color eyes so the plastic can't get out
we discussed that...might be in thw works
Left out how to keep the eyes and lines in the mold while you inject. contact spray?
That eye mold is slick👌🏻

I tried 2 times with black with a little glitter in it. And only got half the pupils both times. I am maybe thinking you can't use glitter?
