I don't know if you have been told this before, but I just had this thought... You are the Bob Ross of bait making! And I mean this with utmost respect and appreciation! ❤👍👍 And yes, I remember that episode! 🤣🤣
That action worm mold is by far my favorite! Probably the first, or one of the first molds I purchase this spring. I would have loved to see some of those colors in a single tail grub. Black smoke with blue flake is my favorite single tail grub color by far! Thanks for an awesome video! And Merry Christmas!
Thank you again. I am going to start making soft plastics. I paint hard baits now and will be airbrushing my new G6 when I mold them. In one of your videos you clear coat the bait, what clear coat did you use? Thank you again for all these videos, makes starting out a lot less nerve racking..
The action worms would kill on Lake Lanier, lots of times during the year the fish key in on small baits and we have blue back herring. Summer time deep drop shot is common and winter time is mega deep drop shot or spoon fishing mostly. Our colors are typically more translucent but the blues and purples tend to shine best
Hey man I love your channel. Any chance you can try some colors for saltwater/surf fishing? Just curious what combinations you would try. Thanks for making solid content! 🤙🏿
Perfect episode for all the folks with their new gifts to experiment with. Still obsessed with the new AI action worms and how lifelike everything comes out using those molds. Enjoy a break with the family and looking forward to see what 2021 brings from your channel. (The rest of the world’s a little scary to consider 😂) And yes, I was a little surprised there was no drum roll for the first mold reveal. 😎
Sapphire blue and green pumpkin both is probably one of my top five favorite colors to through here at my hometown lake but I’m for sure gonna give the okeechobee magic a try that color looks killer
Watermelon red has always been my go-to color, and those looked killer! I keep saying one of these days I will get into making my own baits, looks like art 🎨
Baby bass in a creature mold works really good during the spawn on bedding fish. I rig it with the pearl side up. It helps to see it in the water so you can tell when they eat it.
Green Pumpkin Magic?? I have watched every episode but can’t remember if you have done that color. Keep doing what you do. It helps all of us new bait makers. 😎
Of course I counted with you; I’m not a psychopath. Good back to basics video. Red bug is may favorite “standard” color for worms and drop shot baits. I am curious why you tend to wear your glove on the hand that’s farther from the plastic. I find I need the glove to hold the injector body more that anything else. The Action Worm would look good in the shad color too.
Have you ever done a comparison of a dark back and light belly vs dark belly and light back ? I wonder if the light back/ dark belly might be more easily seen from below.
For Xmas I received a basic start up kit for making my own soft plastics. One thing I noticed is that your injector is massive compared to the 4oz injector I have. Is that going to be big enough to fill most molds that we can purchase as bait makers?
I like the baby bass . But the action worm laminated beautiful. And the 4 hand pours where awesome the colors worked beautiful together. Like to see that video. The bluegill was very nice coloring
Question. I may be answering my own question. Why are the appendages totally different color. Just that they are not as thick in the plastic to hold the darker color?
I’m curious to figure out where I’d start on having my own bait designed and turned into an injection mold. I’ve tried to do some research with little luck
There is a company named SPIKE-IT that makes a die for dipping plastic baits in the chartreuse for game fish. It would be interesting to see if you can make some lures with it or try.
When you do your two part color baits (where you shoot the mold with one color, cut the bait and reshoot with another)can you use two different types of plastisol? Ex. Drop shot worm where the head is sinking and tail if floating?
I can’t decide what’s my favorite. JuneBug works everywhere and is probably my most used color. There again Okeechobee Craw looks awesome. Whoever invented that color probably made a mistake and looked at it and said wow that’s cool.
7 Colors of the day in one haha!!
Impressive. Love your videos and I don't do any soft plastic myself. #1 Watermelon Red, It is crazy how the color changes.
@@genechandler2433 the flake changes everything..I love it

What a great video I am just starting and can’t wait to get started. Your help has been impeccable. Thanks
Really liked the baby bass punch bug. New take on a white belly craw imitator. Awesome!
Sapphire blue and green pumpkin both is probably one of my top five favorite colors to through here at my hometown lake but I’m for sure gonna give the okeechobee magic a try that color looks killer
Hi- I'm sure this has been answered already but where do you sell your lures? Is there a online store? Thanks
One of your best videos. Just simple basic recipe's
Yessir..all good colors that every bait maker should do!
How is the grass bug
The bluegill swimbait looks awesome too!
What cap on your colorants do you use because I need a cap that I can control how much colorant I put in
Like always you killed it! They all look fantastic, I'm excited to see how much more intricate your creations become as we move into 2021!
Let's go!
Watermelon red has always been my go-to color, and those looked killer! I keep saying one of these days I will get into making my own baits, looks like art 🎨
You should try it
What are you using for the jerkbaits to keep the colors from mixing?
Baby bass in a creature mold works really good during the spawn on bedding fish. I rig it with the pearl side up. It helps to see it in the water so you can tell when they eat it.
Yessir that sounds awesome
Just started pouring with remelt plastics get some crazy results when sticking with base color then tossing random baits in as I go
Oh yeah..that's fun
Ya can’t beat that June bug it’s just good stuff. Thanks for the video dude hope your new yr is a goodN!
Thanks buddy
Most people start off as Junior Baiters and work their way up.
Master baiters?
Thanks for going back to basics I can let the color pallet get the best of me sometimes.😀
Me too
Omg those Okeechobee punch bugs are what dreams are made of. 🤤🤤
Where do you purchase the molds?.. also who can I speak to about creating my own mold?
Green Pumpkin Magic?? I have watched every episode but can’t remember if you have done that color. Keep doing what you do. It helps all of us new bait makers. 😎
Love all the colors, thanks, FLC
Awesome stuff there !!!!
Thank you for posting this video I just started lure making this year and your videos help a lot. Keep up the good work
👍👍
Hey Teach, great video, Thanks!! 2 favorites are baby bass and okochobee magic
Yessir

If you have leftovers can you reheat it and use it again?
I'm just starting
how long do you need to heat the plastiol in the microwave? and do you need any extra additves?
My favorite plastic colors are, Plum, June Bug, Green Pumpkin, Sour Grape, White, Watermelon Red, June Bug Red, Black and Blue, Chartreuse, Red Bug.
Really good job Chris! Excellent, still waiting for that simple sungill lol. Keep up the good work!
I’m curious do you heat up the plastic before you add the color and flakes?
Always
Have you ever done a comparison of a dark back and light belly vs dark belly and light back ? I wonder if the light back/ dark belly might be more easily seen from below.
Man I love all of them. I’m going to get me some molds soon and just start reusing my old baits. Good bro👍🏽
Give it a shot
This is great I just got a lot of bait making stuff for Christmas
Awesome to hear
Should I get the ectocraw or the 709 craw and I’m going to sell them
Which mold should I get
Ecto
I got some of the dead on colorant for christmas, can’t wait to try them
Awesome... enjoy
Do you sell your baits or just for personal use?
How much time do you wait until you can open the molds?
For Xmas I received a basic start up kit for making my own soft plastics. One thing I noticed is that your injector is massive compared to the 4oz injector I have. Is that going to be big enough to fill most molds that we can purchase as bait makers?
Basstackle Injectors
Dude you have a special kind of talent for bait making! Merry Christmas and Happy New year.
🙏🙏
Baby bass is my favorite, but they all look good chris!! nice work
Thanks for posting this video, I was taking a lot on receipt notes.
Tha is Frank
Thanks*
Is there a link to buy some of your lures??
not sure it would be the best color to throw,( watermelon red would probably be the most effective in my area), but the sapphire blue was my favorite.
What wattage microwave do you use and how long do you usually cook 1 cup vs 2 cups of plastic?
How long does it take for the baits to dry? So you can take them out of the mold?
Love you're vids you are a insperation for me keep up the good vids hope you had a good year even with covid
Yessir thank you
I like the baby bass . But the action worm laminated beautiful. And the 4 hand pours where awesome the colors worked beautiful together. Like to see that video. The bluegill was very nice coloring
Thanks sir
Love the video! And Those Handpours you showed us quick at the end are so bada$$!! Inspires me man
Thank you sir
Great vid as always!
Thank you

Hello! Do you know of any company’s I can buy moles from in Canada??

Great video I like the baby bass color in a punch bug.cant wait to see what you have in store for 2021
Appreciate it
I can't find the supplys you talked about I got some Moulds
Okeechobee magic would have to be one of my favorite colours you have done, I think I'll have to do some tomorrow!
I fish all these colours with success! Up north I find good success with swim baits in a gobe colour as well. Maybe an idea for a future vid?
What size is the very first injector you use when you are doing the blackberry color at the beginning of the video?
6oz
Starting to pour some baits thanks for the inspiration😀
Awesome to hear
Not a bad drum roll.
They all look great!
Use to play professionally..still got it ha
That's awesome! I been playing 32 years myself. Semi professional tho.
The baby bass punch bugs were stunning!
Thanks
I really want good quality molds, where do you get yours from.
Angling AI makes great molds, but there are several good companies out there making molds
When you do your two part color baits (where you shoot the mold with one color, cut the bait and reshoot with another)can you use two different types of plastisol? Ex. Drop shot worm where the head is sinking and tail if floating?
Yes
how long do you put bait in the water bath for and cold warm or hot water
10 minutes.or so
Man you killed it on all of these colors .. but that last one was awesome
👍👍👍
I love the watermelon red that’s freaking amazing I love the color
Amigo donde los puedo adquirirlos
One of my favorite color worms that I can't find anywhere was a junebug/redbug with just a touch of red flake in addition to the normal green.
OMG those swimbaits look awesome. Can you post a video on the trout?
Lovin' them. Well played sir.
👍👍
Another Awesome vid. Thanks for all you do!!
Thanks for watching!
Do you think I can start a bait business if I am a teenager. Is there room in the market or do you think people will buy. Thanks
Also what else could I do in the fishing world
How much should I spend on a cup to melt plastic down cause I bought a cheap one and it shattered
Great colors man love em all
Thank you
Who makes the molds?
Do you know are they going to make a 6" bloodline swim bait
Watermelon Red looks amazing.
WOW what a beautiful blue 13:27
beautiful baits 😍
Thanks
My favorite is the black with blue flake but really like the watermelon red also
Oh yea that clear fluke culler has a nice shrimp flavor to it.
I can’t decide what’s my favorite. JuneBug works everywhere and is probably my most used color. There again Okeechobee Craw looks awesome. Whoever invented that color probably made a mistake and looked at it and said wow that’s cool.
Haha exactly
I would like to buy several different aluminum molds, and all the things I need to make them.
I hope I can send you pics I’m going to start bait making as soon as I get the miles I want to start with and get advice from you
How much is the baits you make a pack
