This was a terrible idea. Mixing together 4 leftover gallons, that were not labeled, could have gone horrifically wrong. However, sometimes the reward is worth the risk. This came out pretty darn cool.

Looks WILD! Can you duplicate it for a custom mix?
❤ 5/5 The Gold and Copper and Soft Brown and Grey to Soft Marroon and just hint of purple and all sparkles.
Way to stay brave and Earn that Mad Scientist Badge all the way!
👍😁😎🍺🍻
I applaud not bailing.. I know you almost did after seeing the first gallon 😂
5🎉🎉🎉

This looks awesome!!! If you try this again, could you have 4 employees grab a random gallon (no collaborating between them, so colors could vary wildly) and mix what's collected?
I love that idea.
Yasssssssszzzzzz Do this!!
YES! That is exactly what needs to happen, great idea!
I think the car is beautiful!! I’m really surprised. I give it a 5 !!
Yes, I agree, let the employees make bad decisions LOL
I'd love to see this over a white base to see the difference in how the colors pop!
@@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist1so jesus was a car guy as well huh
You would get less color shift is all.
You get more "pop" with the black base. Colors would pop less and blend more with a white base.
@@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist1 As a Christian I can say for sure, no one ever came to know God because someone posted a comment like yours in a car video.
This is not a valid method of bringing people to know Christ. You'd have better luck screaming it on a street corner, which don't work either.
You bring people to know Christ by being a living example, and having people ask, "how are you so happy?" ....THEN you minister to them and tell them.
Blurting it out in the wrong forums actually turns people away. No one like to have religion shoved at them. What your doing is unproductive at best.
@@starbattles1 Yup. I am also a Christian. First thing I thought was what the heck is that doing here? Not really an appropriate forum. But they mean well. On another note, very interesting color on the car!
@@starbattles1 X3. I know they think they are doing "the Lord's work" but I often wonder. Then again, who knows maybe someone who's on the fence decided to get away from the "Hound of Heaven" and watch a car vid and BAM! There he is. LOL
One things for sure, no one else has this color. I love the color shift. And as someone else already stated, I think a white base would have been killer.
You guys need to make these experiments more frequently for sure. The community will LOVE IT !
Not the color I would paint my car. But if I saw someone driving it or saw it parked, I would definitely take a good look and admire the colorful effects. The kinda bronze overall tone coupled with the wide range of colors as the camera moves around the car is stunning. Great result for a whacky experiment. You have to do more like this!
I LOVE THIS COLOR. I would buy that in a heartbeat. From gold to copper to a brown burgandy with hints of purple and then a sorta avocado. You guys really should figure out how to duplicate this.
@@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist1 gtfo
I’d say don’t bother finding out how to duplicate it. That would take away from the uniqueness of this incredible project.
The first one looks like it was one of the weird combos like a candy red and gold maybe but it definitely came out of the can looking like mud oil 🤣
It ends up coming out a crazy mustard gold to red to brown to even black. It's insane, I love the result
You can see it in the splash when he pours it into the big container.
I thought beer.
I thought baby poo !
Probably most dynamic shifts in color range I’ve seen. Run the remainder through a spectrum analyzer! Would love to get this pigment!
I love the color combo. It gives me real steampunk vibes with the brass, gold, and copper transitions with a bit of the green hits. I also love the glitter effect when you get close. 5/5! Just wish you could replicate it.
good description
What an idea! A steampunk street rod. Has it been done?
Steampunk! Absolutely the best single word to describe this car's color. Quite lovely.
Gotta say you guys got really lucky that none of those had much in the blue range. How you took 4 random pearls and ended up with anything other than brown was kind of a miracle!
I mean it looks pretty brown to me from the side.
@@whitexenoemphasis on *anything other than*
There isn’t *only* brown here
@@jodoodlyboi2963 man I hope you practice reading some more.
Crazy!
I mean, I see some greenish go to ambers go to Root beer!! Sheer insanity!
When I was a painter We would clean out the cabinets once a year. 50+ colors. Most of the time We got a brown,or purple.
That's a crazy color! It changes depending on what angle you're looking from - gold, red, bronze, brown. Anyone who could afford that car would go nuts for that unique color job.
4/5 for me, maybe even leaning towards 5. Kinda reminds me of coffee, both in literal color as well as the complexity of the colors, just like coffee is known for complexity in its flavor profile. Definitely worth the experiment!
It's a damn shame you don't know what that mix consists of. That was gorgeous. It shifted from burnt bronze to gold, to green, to black, to purple nicely.
Out of all the videos I've watched, this one really hits me, love the color.
It is amazing! I’ve never seen so many color shifts. I guess it means that it’s hard to mess up ?
@@alphagt62means it will never be color matched. But I love the color. This is the first one that really got me thinking….
Chameleon
i don't understand how he wouldn't know.
he still has the cans. they aren't empty.
paint analisis exists.
and if you look at the video you can tell wich colors came from wich can. and maybe with that info he can tell/guess wich pearls they were.
@@darkracer1252 Right around the 50 second mark he said that sometimes the cans didn't get labeled when put up, and the 4 cans he has were all unlabeled.
That's why he didn't know what they were.
Fonzie's confused face while he's trying to process what he's looking at has made my weekend. i think the only downside to this color is that you arent sure how to replicate it, it looks real snazzy!
I love that you said snazzy… 😂😂
you could maybe take each of the remains of the cans and have them chemically analyzed... and then have to reconstruct it by figuring out what makes that.
I love the range of colors! From a subtle, understated flash to metallic desert tones to mesmerizing deep flame. LOVE the effects!
I think that's my favourite dip job you've ever done. Especially with the bronze rims, as well, that one looks perfect.
It would probably be a pain but if you do this again you should absolutely considering doing half the car with a white base and the other half with a black base so you can see what it would look like with different levels of brightness in the base. I think this would have looked amazing on a white base.
What would concern me about putting this on a white base is that it could make some flaws stand out stronger. High risk, but high reward too.
Mixing miscellaneous colors almost always gives you a brown. The metallic sheen is a nice touch.
Anyone who's played with plasticine of play-dough should know this.
All my food colours mix in my belly to make what colour? Brown
@@godsinbox sometimes green
@@Fiflord Red if you are having a bad day
lol, This is a recipe for a color and they are playing you.
green/gold/red/bronze... I really like it. The effect is very noticeable and the shifts just look really cool.
Man, that came out so awesome. I love how fluid it looked. The color changes were the best I've seen yet.
Looks like can #4 might be an unsettled/separated gallon of can #1 (when it's poured into the beaker). Ended up with a flaky Root Beer. I dig it. 4/5
Yeah I was thinking 1 and 4 looked the same after he put the first back and remixed it
Agreed.
Root beer float
I was thinking they were similar enough maybe they were two attempts at some mixing experiment
OKAY THAT ACTUALLY LOOKS SICK!!! i want to call it "rainbow brown"...or "sunset brown"... it's so cool!!!!!! it varies from purple, magenta, red, orange, gold, and chartreuse!!! incredible hues that come through at different angles!!!
5 out of 5. it's a stealthy beach sunset. brown, gold, orange. love it
Your honesty helps your customers respect your business and your ownership of something unique. Thank you!
This actually might be my favorite you’ve ever done. It’s classy and vibrant and could go on any vehicle and look like it should be there
That is a real KILLER color! Unfortunately, you could never duplicate it or match it! And no one else would have the same color! Nice job!
Was thinking what if you needed to repair something like got in a fender bender you’d have to repaint the whole car a diff color😭
5/5 coppery vibes love it! The transition of the colors is amazing!
5/5 every time you mix something crazy I love the results.
Despite the subtle green and gold hues, this really does look like a killer root beer! I love how this worked out!!
Someone here suggested letting 4 different employees pick out a pearl of their choice and seeing what happens, I LOVE that idea!!! Great run guys 👍🏼👍🏼
I was thinking root beer as well, I love how it turned out.
You have the essence of it, root beer!
No it’s a pale ale birch beer BECAUSE OF thosetones
DUDE thats sick man it changes thru all the colors as you walk around it that's out of the world love it
Dear God, that NEEDS to be a standard color option everywhere!!!!
I love the attempt. This is exactly what makes this channel so much fun to watch. I love the fact that you listen to your viewers. The end result is pretty cool. I give it a 3.
100% agree
I suggested this idea a few weeks ago and my face lit up when I saw the title of this video. Fonzie is an awesome dude for listening to his viewers and taking that trust fall into a crazy idea.
@@JosePerez-no6li absolutely. That's my favorite thing about this channel
OMG... I have no words to describe that array of colour but OH WOW that is STUNNING! That is a colour that i would have on my car in an instant. 5/5
That's actually a pretty sweet result. I wasn't expecting all that variation. Pretty amazed at how lost the bright orange and holographic flake ended up being in the dark result.
If this color was a season it would be autumn. Love it.
WOW! That's almost like a reddish-copper sickness we didn't know was needed in our lives. Too bad you didn't have the exact loads because it actually turned out top shelf sweet. Thank you as always!!! Looks amazing & unique!
Dude! That color is epic. Call it Sunset or Cherry Copper. It paired really well with the black base. Always love watching the color combos you guys come up with.
What an unbelievably fantastic finish... so many changes in colour and depth
I love the color/s that came out of that experiment. It would make a great "getaway" car as the color defies description.
This episode was like a cooking show where you have to use whatever ingredients you find in a college dorm room, and make dinner for your mom, but plot twist, it ends up being the best food you’ve ever made. You guys win again, it’s gorgeous! ❤
I was floored by how it turned out I think it's totally awesome I give it a 5 as you were going around the car it kept changing shades and colors then driving it off i continue seeing it changing
I think that without the first gallon, whatever it was, actually made it turn out better. It gave the dark features stand out from the bright orange.
5-5!!! ❤❤❤
I honestly don’t know, but it looks like every color on the spectrum in on this car…..amazingly beautiful!!
The crazier the experiment, the better. These are my favorite videos. I really enjoy when you mix colors that belong together, and feel these mystery style projects usually result in the wildest combinations.
I think this color really compliments the car! Like it really fits the 3 series!
That's sick, you took a risk but it paid off. Would love to have a ride painted in that tint. It's like sunrise and sunset all at the same time.
The beautiful results from your leftovers are astonishing! You must know more than you let on. Doesn't look like a mistake or guess-work.
That has to be the most amazing paint job I've ever seen. I love how it goes from gold to copper and is that green? It's a shame you'll never be able to repeat that.
Give me access to their paints and I would.
Just don’t bang it up. Matching wouldn’t be easy.
Since they know if 2 of the pigments they can try to recreate it id love to watch them try to recreate it
Wow. For a pot luck paintjob it looks incredible! I would definitely give it a 5/5. I just love it lol
Love the "Smoked Copper" color. I think that it's an appropriate color name.
Wow that end finish looks so pretty, that's nutty for mixing 4 random unlabeled colors
The depth of shift and tones is awesome! Very risky, but oh so worth it. When I saw the tones being poured, I figured it might be worth it.
Florida Tangi 🍊
Turned out great. The mix of color is astounding.
WOW !!!!
My first time communicating on a project, this is amazing. You see different colors, depending on the distance you are viewing the vehicle.
I've seen other projects, some come out as one would think and others turn into something that surprises everybody.
Keep up the the crazy project ideas ....
It's crazy that such a random mix can turn out SO good! Another job, well done!
Definitely a lot nicer than I expected. The couple of times I’ve done this I ended up with either a sick brown or ugly gray. I don’t know how transparent this paint was, but woulda liked to have seen it on a white or silver base coat.
Whole time I was thinking white, but damn silver would’ve been crazy!
Exactly what I was thinking before I ever seen the end results. That lighter base coat would've I think made it stand out more.
That happens almost always when you mix opposite colors, depending on the paint(s) used of course. Most of the time you can get away with it if you steer clear from the direct opposites, as in, don't add yellow to a purple, but you could be ok adding (at least some) green or orange.
I was thinking it could have been better on a white base as well.
Love the contrast. It’s so beautiful.
Dude! This is wild! Its Multicolored! Depending upon your view you could get, Black, Red, Gold, Yellow, Blue, This is amazing! 10/10
I've never before seen a car that could go from gold to wine. That is beautiful! The moment you said holographic flake thought it was going to turn out spectacular.
That end shift to muddy green is 🔥🔥! That sucks you can’t replicate it. This is one of my favorite results in a while 👏
he still has the 4 cans.
he could have them analized.
but you can already tell the first one was the purple (you can see it when he poors it into the big jug.)
the second one is the orange/amber.
third one is the sparkles.
and final one is green/yellow (sometimes gold?)
the gold might also be part of the third can.
Looks like crap, for poor people who can't afford actual paint
@@iceman5117 okay 🤡

They can replicate it. There's a machine that you can place on a car that analyses he paint and gives you an RGB code. I don't know what it's called. But, I saw one used on that Power Nation show once.
Well! I think the shade, color, depth is amazing. Especially for a mash up 🤩.
I really, really like that color! It turned out better than anyone could have imagined! You should try replicating it and marketing it. Well done!
That paint job looks so good, it looks deliberate. Damn, that's gorgeous 😍
The mix in slow mo looked beautiful
And omg the after shot. I absolutely was not expecting that. Looks insanely good.I would paint the r34 this color all day
Id spray the four things out to figure out they were so you could have that as a mix option. It looks great!
5/5 man that turned out super sweet. Now I wanna get my escape painted. Y'all are mixing some awesome mind twisters.
Just from the first couple minutes - y'all really need one of those paint can shakers like they've got at the home improvement stores for this sort of project.
I’m really surprised. It turned out much better than I thought it would. Great job guys.
It's like a bronze/copper color shift. Love it.
I love the subtle transition. Great mix!
" give us somthin " - Silver Holograohic Pearl enters the chat 😅🥳
I have no idea why you guys were so hesitant. The colors mixed really well and it came out so good! Sometimes you just have to experiment.
If a repair is needed from a fender bender accident, the exact paint , to repaint, can not be made.
@@markae0then you do another experiment
Very toasty.
"Mahogany Sunset"
They picked wisely ❤..
Scientifically you can't call this an 'experiment' if you have no idea what 3/4 of the ingredients are...
That’s sweet. Definitely do more experiments like this but on different base colours
Wow!! The variation of colours is amazing, from dark to bright! Love it, 6/5.
It looks like a sort of aged bronze colour... and yeah, more mystery mixes please!
Not gonna lie thats pretty funky! Would love to see more random dope combos like this! Also wanna see it with white base. All in all 5 of 5 im diggin the purple/gold/maroon bronzy thing. Yall legit created a new color lol - cant wait for someone to be like "what color is that" for you to say "Random test #1" or "Unknown Limited Edition #1"
Absolutely gorgeous! I would call this color "Tropical sunset".
Shifting from the rose gold to the green gold that Black Hills used to use in their jewelry. That was a fascinating result. 5 all the way. I love when you do mystery mixes like this!
Normally you are gung-ho about experiments, so it was funny watching the trepidation build as you opened each can! Love these random fun and crazy vids. And it came out much better than expected. :)
oh I was 100% going to cut the video and back out
it looks good, but i think the reason stuff was hard to identify is that something was breaking down in parts 1 and 4, pull some of the metallic leftovers you have labeled and see what they look like
No lie this would be a go to color in video games growing up, always thought to me looked like rustic bronze!
Looks like a liquid sunset! I'm glad you saw this through.
A+ to the person recommending this, and A+ to you both for sticking it out!! The very first shot with that yellow popping had me cussing out loud, the colors in this are just amazing, especially that head on shot where all you see is a yellow hood and everything else is black. 6/5!!
😮 didn't expect this result. The close up with all the sparkle and the deep red undertones is the best
It really strikes as like a dark Mauve to me, I see a hint of purple with that red
This colour at the mixing stage reminds me of lava flow when it's starting to darken but still flowing so keeps being broken. Looks GORGEOUS.
And once sprayed... I think Dragon Blood is a cool name. I imagine that's what it would look like.
Love this! Khaki, Root Beer, Flame Yellow, Burnt Orange metallic! 5 +. Looks awesome rolling along
Looks like you dipped the car in molten copper. Really beautiful and oddly understated.
100% worth it! I would immediately buy that color to do my car with. 6/5! Love the brass, copper and gold with a hint of green and orange. So much metallic flake and pearl too!
Awesome 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 turned out way better than I thought it would considering you had no idea what was in the paint cans. You must do more videos like this maybe let some of ur employees pick the cans next time
You guys are pushing the boundary’s of car painting to a whole new level it’s fantastic
5! Totally LOVE this color! So random result. Cannot wait for next random mix.
Man that odd mix came out on fire , I only wish that my mix up came out as good . The colour switch is pure delight to see
love it! on a side note have you ever done this color change thing but with white?....i always thought color changing from white to blue would be super dope.
Amazingly great color and effects. Just gorgeous!!!
This color shifts like mad! Wow!!!
Love the end result, so many colors from different angles. Saw a deep cherry red - faded rose - honey gold - apple(?) green. All hidden under a brownish copper facade
“May the odds ever be in your favor,” The force was strong with you on this one Fonzy. Lucky is an understatement. That is solid 4 imo. It looks way better than it has any right to look. Loved this one. Cheers
This was so elegant that you could make it standard on a high end car.
That mix is sick! Love the final color
WOW! It looks amazing... I love this.
