Hey vidIQ. I unfortunatey cannot spend and money because my parents dont allow it, but i just want to say your website is great, helped me a lot with tags, descriptions, titles, and so much more!
I love this! 1100 subscribers and growing. I think the biggest thing i've learned is finding a perfect balance between making calculated content and inspired content. What I mean is.... Videos that you make solely after doing research, videos that you think and can bet have a standing chance to perform. May not be your favourite, but is part of the process. And then videos, that you make for you that are still relevant. The videos that inspire you. The videos you enjoy making. In the end it's about enjoying this fun journey of youtube and not making it a chore, and finding pleasure through out it. Wether it gets views or not, you are proud of it. If you can merge both. I think you're winning! Keep going creators!🔥🔥🔥🔥

Yes, definitely keep going. I posted for about nine years before I became monetized. I didn’t really start getting any subscribers until 2022 and my monetization is extremely recent with me getting monetized last September, demonetized for a few months starting from November and then remonetized late February this year.

finding my niche was the hardest thing as a reaction channel but now learning just off your vids and making sure i appease the subscribers that ive been blessed to kno now its been such a fun experience
My channel went from 50 subs to 1k in 3 months or so as soon as I found the audience I was on there feeds it got a lot easier. It doubles in on itself cause once you get real comments you can start to make real decisions about the direction of the channel but until then you’re just throwing crap against the wall seeing what sticks. Good luck to all keep with it
I only have 8 subscribers but I will never quit. I finally got one of my shorts to hit 10k views. For some this may be next to nothing. But for me, it’s light at the end of a tunnel
This is so true. It takes consistency and focus on the content itself rather than stressing so much about subscribers and views. It’s so hard not to worry about that throughout though. Mindset is so important.

I’ve been participating in a yarn spinning competition that is going on world wide, and I’ve been making videos of the process. Next week I’ll be on vacation and spinning yarn around Philadelphia.
I actually got super lucky. Over 10k views on my first video on this channel. All my videos, at the moment, are shirts remixes. So that really helps. OTOH, on my first channel I was getting super low numbers. I gave up there, not because of the numbers but because I wasn't enjoying it.

I enrolled in the coaching program 1 year ago this month, and it's been life changing. Remember it still takes time and hard work. My channel was getting 100-300 views and a few videos with 1200 views. I post weekly but in June I stared posting 2 per week and in the last 2 weeks my channel exploded. I had one video reach over 37,000 views. This was a video youtube decided to send out and the results was crazy. Over 760 new subscribers, 46,000 views and 4100 watch hours. This was a spike I was waiting for. Now my average views as gone up and the comments on my videos crazy, I was only use to getting 2 views per video. All this happen becauee of the hard work that I put into my channel. You can't get views unless your serious about being a creator. It's a full time job. My coach was able to review all my videos before they were published and gave me guidance in things that needed to be changed. Working on thumbnails and titles was a nightmare for me and It wasn't a good job on the ones I created in the past. My channel use to be low carb keto and I work on that channel for almost 3 years and last July I enrolled in the coaching program. One of the questions I was asked was what kind of channel do I want, I said that this was really the channel I always wanted so we pivet the channel and I private all my precious videos, changed the logo, channel name and started over. I couldn't have creates this channel without my coach, and I definitely would not have reach the first spike without my coach. People are looking for a quick fix, a over night success. The truth is you need to build a solid foundation in order to have long term success. Over night success will always drop-off and then the questions is, are you able to build your channel from the ground up when this happens. Most people will quite, there's a. Lot of work involved but my coach helped me to reach each level and then once I had that mastered she would push me out of my comfort zone and onto the next level. I wanted to do fishing videos, so my thought process was to go fishing and record the process. With my coaches help we recorded and edited some fishing videos and they were great. Then she said now we're taking you outside of your comfort zone and we're going to start doing fishing challenges. She allowed me to get comfortable recording myself fishing before she had me do more with fishing. She wants my videos to stand out in the niche. People still get to see me catching fish bit with a bigger story. These are things I never thought to do. Each time I master a level, my coach takes me to the next level. My coach is helping me create the best content possible. It's been a year and I'm still not a millionaire like most people expect when starting youtube or hiring a coach, but my channel is at a place I never though was possible and the direction were taking my channel is somewhere I could have taking it myself. There comes a time for every creator when they have to choose to give up or hire someone to help develop their channel. It's usually when you come to a Plateau where you stop seeing growth. It's then you need assistance and guidance to help move you in the right direction. Enrolling into the coaching program was the best decision of my life because I'm building this business for retirement, and in the next 5 years I will be excited to see where I'm at with my channel. We had lots of little wins in the lady year but the spike I had in the last 2 weeks was mind blowing. I did more in the last year with a coach then I did in almost 3 years alone with my old channel. Every business needs professional guidance in order to be successful. We all watches tons of how to videos to create a channel. We take that advice and apply it to our channel but we have no idea if we did if correctly or if it wasn't right for our channel. A coach who you have contact with 5 days a week will correct your mistakes, they will help you apply new techniques and will also get you to test the waters to see how viewers will respond. Their goal is your success because your success promotes their coaching program. It's a win win situation. They want you to succeed, they want you to be successful, they want you to go full time because in reality, you will always need a coach. Also, there was zero warning, absolutely no warning that my 37,000 view video was going to explode. As they all say, it just happen. We seen a major change in the analytics about 2 month prior. My retention graph was showing my current videos well above the average with no dips in the graph and it remained consistent ever since. Creators are right when they say don't give up, your one video away from hitting it big, it just happen to me in the last 2 weeks. Plus this video was recorded in May and I was postponing the release because I was focus on fishing videos so I kept rescheduling the release. You just don't know when it's going to happen. My coach help me structure my channel in the proper way so I would be ready when the first spike happened. Don't expect fulltime after a month, 3 months or even 6 months. Look at it the same as a traditional business, they say it takes 3-5 years to even establish your business so why should it be any different for youtube. Now look back 3-5 years and think, if I only started youtube with a coach I could be full time right now or at least a good second income. People wants the results without putting in all the time and work, that's not going to happen unless you wins the lotto.
When I had around 172 subscribers in 2019, I made random content to soon find something that I would like to continue with. However on a summer day in june 2019, I simply made a Roblox video of a trend that auddenly took off. It took 24 hours to make that video reach 600 views. So I made another one of the trend and that video reached over 100 000 views. I made 91 videos of that trend. Later on, I made another video that no one has done before, and that video was enough to reach millions of views. After making more Roblox content, I reached 100 000 subscribers. And all of these are thanks to tips from VidIQ. So thank you VidIQ for the tool that helped my channel become popular :)
I am listening and applying your advice. Let's stay resilient and keep pushing forward. One day, we'll achieve success on RUclips. We’ll get there together!
This is so helpful to all of us new channels. I just started a month ago and had it in my mind I wasn't going to get views like you said that way I didn't feel discouraged 🤣. We got this! keep pushing guys
I love the keyword research! However NO ONE has been able to help us understand how to do better hooks for our audience in our niche. I guess we will just have to keep trying a bunch of different stuff and see what sticks.
I started a few days ago and my video’s definitely suck but it is bringing me something to focus on to get myself out of a mental health / midlife rut and that, for now, is good enough ❤
Any time i get down on myself when a video doesnt do how i want, i just come back to these and it reminds me that im just starting, failure is good, its growth, and the more i do and the more consistent i am, the better ill do in the long run. so thanks for all the encouragement (and youtube tips of course)
SO TRUEEE🥺😭I am a small channel too and this video tells the truth. It is just not good to focus from beginning on subscribers and views, cause quickly get disappointed.
Thank you so much for your continued work. As always, little nuggets hidden throughout. I am certain VidIQ has been responsible for a big part of my channel. Not yet breaking the ceiling but doing OK enough for a niche.
Thank you so much for more great info! I have 2 completely random and "boring" shorts that got over 10,000 views in like the 1st day. So tempting to do more random, kind of plain, vids like them but i don't feel it would work that way. The 2 were spontaneous and i only shared them to show a couple family members. So odd!
RUclips is by far the hardest thing I have done - but it is definitely my social outlet. I sucked at all the creative things as a kid, but this is my jam 🙏🏻
I tripled my new RUclips channel subscribers in 2 short days by experimenting with something new. Both my new channels are 8 weeks young. I love every 144 subscribers. I love the process and because I am in the embryonic stages on both my channels I am experimenting! So far experimenting and repeating what I know works is definitely working! I have a passion for what I share on both my channels! I hope that all new RUclips channels are very successful just like I know my channel will be because I won't quit!
3 years since monitizing the podcast on YT. Had some highs and a fair few massive dips but I love the community I have that follows me. Giving it another 10 years or so.... cos, why not
What you are describing is the opposite to cognitive dissonance. CG is when people cannot grasp a new concept and go into denial and escape the new information stream.
I’m newer to content creating and I can tell you that this channel has helped me out a ton. I use VidIQ as well and it has helped me a ton!!! I went and analyzed all of the titles, thumbnails etc and changed them as needed, and saw a marked difference. Thank you!!
My channel is growing -VERY SLOWLY - but I am not focused on growing… just doing what i like which is long format backpacking and outdoor related videos. I do daily shorts to appease the algorithm (which is when my growth actually started) but it’s difficult to spend 3-4 days shooting (not to mention physically walking and climbing all those miles), multiple months editing, and releasing 45 min videos when I work a full time job and have a family. Every once in a while I do gear review videos (which also fair well) but those aren’t my passion… Oh well! Maybe some day !

Love this guy! Thx 4 sharing!
RUclips should remove the subscriber and view count! It’ll let people just enjoy their hobby
4 step scriptwriting process:
1. Research
2. Structure
3. Edit
4. Remember how to count?

Thank you vidIQ, using your tips, I grew from 18 subscribers to 168 subscribers in just 3 weeks😀
Every time I see one of your videos it just inspires me more and more to keep going and do what I love. Keep up the amazing work, everyone!!
So thank you VidIQ for the tool that helped my channel become popular :)
you guys give out the most sound and clear advice ever 🔥love VidIQ
I have also started recently and have reached 70+ subs.
I hope people like my lullabies, and I get there soon 😊
Hello I subbed! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you again for this Tips! I started now a Workout Motivational RUclips channel, wish me luck! :)
Many blessings all of you!
This was really helpful. Gave me a few things to start working on right away. Thank you!
Growing slowly but surely! Good luck to you all!!!!
Thanks for the advice. I've been trying to grow my art channel.
My teddy bear is growing slowly, but I love what I do, and that's the most important thing.
Thanks. You have genuinely explained the concept of failure
I love the keyword research! However NO ONE has been able to help us understand how to do better hooks for our audience in our niche. I guess we will just have to keep trying a bunch of different stuff and see what sticks.
Thanks for these videos. I can't always apply everything you suggest for every single video I make but doing my best 👍
I'm trying to grow....430ish and trying! Seems daunting and intimidating but gonna hydrate and press on!
Just started my channel a few days ago. Growth is slow but steady. Hoping my editing skills and content grows faster than my subs haha
never give up keep going lovely one's❤
I started a few days ago and my video’s definitely suck but it is bringing me something to focus on to get myself out of a mental health / midlife rut and that, for now, is good enough ❤
Any time i get down on myself when a video doesnt do how i want, i just come back to these and it reminds me that im just starting, failure is good, its growth, and the more i do and the more consistent i am, the better ill do in the long run. so thanks for all the encouragement (and youtube tips of course)
Best of luck to everyone on their yt journey!!!
the only important thing to know. love what you are doing. youtube should never feel like a burden.
SO TRUEEE🥺😭I am a small channel too and this video tells the truth. It is just not good to focus from beginning on subscribers and views, cause quickly get disappointed.
Facts!!!
Thanks for this I'm going to try and add these tips to my vids
New channel! Here for the long haul thanks for the game
So odd!
Great video! 750 subscribers currently, only 250 more! Keep it up guys it only takes one video
I believe in us!
Your videos are genuinely helping my channel.
RUclips is by far the hardest thing I have done - but it is definitely my social outlet.
I sucked at all the creative things as a kid, but this is my jam 🙏🏻
Great advice. Thank you!
Giving it another 10 years or so.... cos, why not
2% club, let’s go 🚀
Thanks for your amazing effort ❤
What you are describing is the opposite to cognitive dissonance.
CG is when people cannot grasp a new concept and go into denial and escape the new information stream.
Chill out! we all gonna make it just remember it's all about time, the right time didn't come yet ❤
Keep going you guys!
i motivated for your video not stop my doing ..❤
Been following y’all’s tips for 3 weeks and hit 137 subs and I have been hitting around 150 views for my last 3 videos
Every once in a while I do gear review videos (which also fair well) but those aren’t my passion…
Oh well! Maybe some day !
Got another sub today using one of your tips
Small gains my friends o>
