20 minutes after this video had been posted I've posted my image poll. Time included downloading the images, asking AI for the ranking of the items. Easy peasy, thanks VidIQ man.
I implemented this strategy yesterday and I'm already seeing significant (for my channel) interaction from what I had expected. Very practical. Thank you for your video!

That's really interesting. I've observed that on my larger channels (300k and 1M subscribers), the community tab posts are mainly shown to my existing audience. However, on two of my newer channels, the community posts seem to reach a broader, new audience. 🤯 Great tip!!

This is one of the most innovative ideas, and it can be put into practice immediately. I just posted a poll on my channel. Let's see how it goes. One interesting thing happened. When I reached 1000 subscribers, I got a lot more engagement on my community tab. But it starts with providing short, useful tidbits. Or even asking questions that the audience feels compelled to answer. Note: Many people love to give their opinion or tell their experience. Any question that asks for opinions or encourages viewers to share their experience gets the most engagement, IMO.
I will try this too now, as i think it is the most engaging of the community posts. Well, thanks for another motivational video whenever i think i will not make it with my small channel ❤
I love the community posts. I haven't been able to "catch some eyes" as much, but I double down on communication, behind the scenes, and the near future of the channel and updates. I feel like this communication along with a community discord really helps some of the viewers I have to stick with me regardless of which type of content I create. They're not here for the content, but for my input about that content, for me
I recently made it a part of my starting routine to write a community post when I turn on my PC each day, and ever since- my subs and views have gone up
Great vid as always guys! I love the Community tab, it's a lot of fun to use, I use it regularly. Just didn't consider thinking more broadly with poll topics. Gotta give it a try!
Hey. I have a question. Does posting links on community bring any engagement on your channel? Because I've realized that whenever I post a quiz, I'll get responses, but whenever it's a video link or images, there is zero engagement 😕
@@TheMathPad Personally for me it does! I post like a little message for them like telling them they get early access if they see this or somethin for a vid, but I have the opposite issue the poll results and comment section are as dry as my wallet
Thank you for all the insights on starting and growing a new channel! I never heard about community posts, and I will definitely try it. Seeing everyone’s positive energy in the comments feels great.
Up till watching this video, I genuinely thought that community posts are only shown to our own subscribers 😅Hit 900 subs earlier today and looking forward to seeing how these tips will help to grow the channel further. Will do these posts differently now. Thanks VidIQ! 😁
if you're a small channel (which you are) it will indeed show up to a handful of existing subscribers and if you're lucky maybe 2 or 3 non-subscribers (literally: 2 or 3, not 2k, just 2!). So definitely use the community tab, it's low effort and you still might reach a few new people... But don't expect it to be more than a handful.
Thanks for the great info. After sitting on the YT side-lines for years I've just setup my channel and your content to help me get started is gold. Thankyou.
Been doing shorts for about half a year to test the waters and it's been up and down. Definitely gonna try to be more engaging with the community tab and see what kinda results this brings, it can be discouraging at times to not get the results you desire but as long as you're putting out content that you, yourself, would watch and enjoy then you just have to be patient and trust that you'll get there someday. Keep making cool stuff guys ❤

Yeah, no... With very few exceptions community posts on small channels might reach 10-20 people max. It will not result in any useful information nor new subs... It's low effort, so it's a no-brainer to use it. Bu invaluable? Nah, it's kinda worthless to small channels.

I’m right at the start of my journey and I’ve gotta say this is so helpful thanks for taking the time to make the videos ^_^ for me it’s all about keeping it fun and finding other enthusiasts so I think the community posting is a brilliant idea looking forward to trying it.
In my experience the community tab is useless. At best I get a couple of likes on a post. I cant tell if people are seeing the content or not because RUclips doesn't offer any analytics for it.
My last video really blew up for my tiny channel. But I've only gained a few subs from it. So I'll take any method. But using a community tab feels silly with such a small sub count.
Thank you so much! Your tips have helpen me a lot and got me 774 subs at the moment! Still working hard to reach the magical 1k and 4000 watch hours🙌🏼😉

I scheduled a poll post for my channel. Working on more posts for the Community tab, and putting together more shorts. Thanks for this video!
Thanks for sharing ❤
@AlvarezGuillermo-me asking me?
Will 💯 give this a try today! Done my first vertical stream last night was successful so time to build on that.
Thanks for this information!
I have made only one community post since I started my channel…I never thought it could be very productive or even make any difference.
I have 252 subscribers and I think it will get easier from now on.😅😅
Good luck 👍 🤝
@@Jelinofficial-sr1vf Thanks!
I’m on my way to hit 10k 🤩 I hope that you can reach your goals too! 🙌🏽🔥
I reached 10k subs before i could get a single channel audit lol.
I’m right at the start of my journey and I’ve gotta say this is so helpful thanks for taking the time to make the videos ^_^ for me it’s all about keeping it fun and finding other enthusiasts so I think the community posting is a brilliant idea looking forward to trying it.
I'm glad I found this channel
Me tooo!
I tried this on my last two polls and they got 3 times the amount of votes than a normal poll. Thanks for the tips
We are all here again trying to learn and grow our channels😅
You are absolutely right 💯
Almost at 1k myself! Thank you for the helpful videos and I definitely want to look into this! 😊
Thank you for your advice
This was extremely helpful. I have not really utilized my community tab because I didn't know how or what would be a good way.
Thanks for 500 subs guys 💯
Congratulations
545 subs let’s gooooo
548 has arrived
Good information 🤝
Thank you🎉🎉❤
Thanks for the tips!! I’ve just started the image polls and I got 42 votes on it so far!! I hope this works for me
since I activate my sleeping channel last month I got 152 subs, now I am on 209!!! 😊
Congratulations
Starting monday with good energy, good tips to grow… and a good community post ✅
In my experience the community tab is useless. At best I get a couple of likes on a post. I cant tell if people are seeing the content or not because RUclips doesn't offer any analytics for it.
Never hurts to try!
Not really. I gained 200 subs with one photo 😂
@@Halfstunthalfman sure unless you value your time.
Thank you!❤
My last video really blew up for my tiny channel. But I've only gained a few subs from it. So I'll take any method.
But using a community tab feels silly with such a small sub count.
Keep creating!!!
Great video as always! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the help, I am currently at 96 subscribers but when I get to 500 subscribers I will definitely try community posts!
why wait until 500 subs? you can starts your channel community at 96?
@@AspieTravels bc you have to have 500 subs to start making community posts
@@ThePoliticalLandscapeUSA ah i see, make some shorts as you'll get more subs from those then add your long forms as the related video
@@AspieTravels Thanks!
I've been using my community tab for a while and just hit 500 subs. You CAN use it and you definable should not wait.
Thank you so much! Your tips have helpen me a lot and got me 774 subs at the moment! Still working hard to reach the magical 1k and 4000 watch hours🙌🏼😉
