- Well, this was an experience.
Not exactly sure what happened here but the P-50s in the background sounded like they were doing fast wail, and then as I was packing up, I look up and see the Vortex rotating. Not really sure what happened but this isn't the first time I've seen a Tarrant County Vortex rotating post-test.
North Richland Hills, like the majority of cities in Tarrant County, tests on the first Wednesday of each month @ 1 PM, if the skies aren't overcast.

UPDATE: As of 5/2022 this siren in the video fell off its pole, presumably due to a large wind gust. The head was unsalvageable and a new Vortex will be installed sometime in the future.
UPDATE 2: Goddard Enterprises installed a brand new WPS-2907 in this Vortex's spot on November 30th, 2022.
Love it I have one of these at my school
the richland hills fiddys really do be having a stroke though
Very nice!
Ooh texas has early vortexes? Hot
Thats because they replaced that rotator
That must be a very very early Vortex, the rotator looks interesting.
@@1000BT No. It's an early version of the Vortex, if you look at videos of newer vortex's you'll see the rotator is not flat on any of the sides.
@@MnandWISirenProductions This unit was installed around the 2003 range if I had to guess.
