Lewisville Tornado Siren

This is the first Whelen siren that I have ever seen. It is located in Lake Park (for those familiar with the Lewisville area). It was installed years ago, (probably the early 90s). Lewisville has a total of 15 sirens (3 Whelen 2810s for Parks, 11 Whelen Vortex R4s, and 1 Whelen 2906). The voice capable sirens utilize voice during tests and emergencies. This siren was extremely loud, and the echo was impressive. The known hissing sound (common in 2810s) was very noticeable in this test. It was also interesting that there was a hiccup during wind-down. It sounds alert and 2 rounds of pre-recorded messages in English and Spanish. Yeah! It is pretty deep ... this siren is pretty old; would not be surprised if some drivers need replacing soon.
