i kept my geraniums i bought last summer alive all last winter in my livingroom, i put them back on my railing on my porch this spring, i think their prettier and bigger than last year !!

I too use mesh, a coffee filter and stones or broken pieces of pots in my containers. I also found Windex streak free outdoor cleaner for everything outside. It attaches to the hose and makes sparkling windows, siding, sidewalk and containers And furniture. I also use charcoal fish tank filters in my fountains. No chemicals, pollinator safe and lasts for years. Just rinse as you would if they were in an aquarium. I’m in NJ❤

Its all beautiful. Lowes also has a good low cost algaecide and pond tint in the pond section of the garden center. Non toxic to animals and plants. Lasts a long time.

Love all your pots. Where do you find such beauties? If you grow the hydrangeas in pots how to you winter store them? I live in Ohio and no where to bring things in. Your shows are fun thanks for sharing your gardening.

We make small compost bins hidden on each plant (so worms can come in and out and do their job ) if you do t want to change your soil every year that might be a good option 💚
