Congratulations, Stacie on winning yard of the month! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property! You truly deserve it! I felt that Stacie was talked over, I would I have liked to hear from her.
Hi Stacie's Mom!! Thanks for watching!! Stacie absolutely has poured so much into her garden, and it shows! it's just absolutely beautiful. I told her many times, she has a true eye for color and garden design!
Stacy's garden is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen on RUclips. All of the beautiful colors, the mixture of shades of green, and so many great textures are so well thought out. Her containers are really exquisite! Extra fun video!
Thank you so much! I am going to share this with her, as I absolutely agree with you! I find her garden so inspirational and I am SO glad the RUclips community sees that too! ❤️
Thank you so much for featuring my garden. I had so much fun! You are the best! I could just sit and talk with you all day. I realized I never answered how long those knockout roses were in the front...7 years. I dont know why I answered that I prune them back instead of the age...lol I was a bit nervous. I look forward to getting the notifications whenever you post a new video. Y'all make sure you subscribe to Shannon's Channel. ❤
Such a beautiful garden Stacie has. The containers and hydrangeas are gorgeous. A lot of hard work but so worth it. Thanks for the tour. Love and blessings ❤️💚💛💚🩷
How awesome that you two have each other in the neighborhood to talk all things gardening!! Just beautiful , Stacy. Shannon, thank you for sharing her garden with us!
Hi Stacey! Yes, it is awesome to have her just around the corner from me! When we see each other, we get caught talking for hours! LOL! She's so great!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden tour with us. It was wonderful today watch from the beginning to the end. Every part of your garden is so well put together. I love the blue and white tile. I hope that the tile it might be carpet but it was so beautiful. Thanks so much. I think it was a rug. I’m here watching this wonderful wonderful stunning garden Garden
Thank you so so much! I am so glad you enjoyed every moment! I'm making sure Stacie sees your encouraging comment. ❤️ Yes, I it is a rug on her porch...I agree it is beautiful! 😍
What a treat! Stacie’s garden in both the front and back yard is beautiful and very inspiring! My favorite are her absolutely stunning containers! Thank you both so much for sharing God’s beautiful creation! ❤
Thank you Lana! I am so glad you enjoyed it and shared your favorite part! I realize I forgot to share my favorite part!! My favorite part of her garden is her row of Lacecap Hydrangeas!! 😍
Amazing garden. Thank you for the tour. Especially liked all the containers, I have 3 small dogs and puppy likes to pull plants up so going to containers. Lots of good ideas
New subscriber here I love Stacie’s flower pots combinations her hanging baskets and baskets on the fence also her Lace Cap Hydrangeas her yard is very beautiful. Congratulations Stacie on winning garden of the month
Thank you so much!! I had to chuckle at your comment...yes the struggle is real with Garden vs Grass! In my mind Garden will win every time! Though there is something to be said about beautiful soft grass to rest in. 😊
Thank you Amelia!! The tip for blue plumbago for her shade arbor is great! I'll let her know! I LOVE plumbago! There is a perennial plumbago called Plumbago Ceratostigma that blooms true blue and it is a groundcover. I have 4 of them and I LOVE them! I also love the annual plumbago as well.
We live in Houston and some people's containers and plants get stolen, so I can't put any in the front yard. But I do keep some in my fenced backyard. My struggle with containers is how much to water them.
Beautiful garden. I've heard so many bad things about HOA's., it made me neve to want to live in one. We live on 80 acres in WI, and, we can do exactly what we want, when we want and how we want and no one bothers us.
There are many Pros and Cons to HOAs, for sure! We have some awesome amenities, like a pool complex with two water slides and kiddie pools. We have an Adult only pool complex and another pool complex as well. We have many ponds, a lake, and many playgrounds for the kiddos; it truly is a beautiful and amazing place to live! We also have celebrations for 4th of July and Christmas that are truly spectacular! But yes, it is tough having an entity tell you what you can and cannot do; I totally agree! 80 acres in Wisconsin sounds AMAZING!! Definitely a dream of mine to live on acreage, maybe someday I will be able to retire and hopefully be able to afford it.
@@GrowRoots23 U R so sweet to answer me back. I have no ideas about HOA only what I hear and it sounded bad. But the parks & pools & playgrounds sound nice. We live in a rural area of about 500 ppl. It's a hour to town. We are from CA, so it was hard at first. I will subscribe to your channel. I have 9 flower gardens here and they all have a different theme it's a lot of work, but, I love it.
@@estelleadamski308 we are from California too! I would love to have more space to grow ALL the pretties!! That sounds magical. Thank you for subscribing! ❤️
Diseases like rose rosette that can devastate entire areas is more so because of the mono culture from landscapers /developers. When a plant is well known to perform well it gets over used in the landscape. And when that happens disease can spread rampantly. So if everyone on the street has roses- good chance rose rosette pops up. So if you are making new beds consider other plants that aren’t prone to these mites that spread the disease so as to break the distance. We have rose rosette bad in our area too. It is sad because knock outs are such great performers.
@@GrowRoots23 sadly I just noticed it in my double pink knock outs. I had a suspicion but now I’ve confirmed. 🥲 it really stinks to lose a great shrub but now I’ll have to figure what to replace them with. And I now have to move my hostas from behind them or else they will get fried. Such is the life of a garden.
@@Gardenmess8b I am so sorry!! You are right, such is the life of a garden! I try to think of it as an excuse to find an alternative and get a new plant!! Hmm, something evergreen or at least a plant that leafs out early in spring would be great for that spot since you need it to have height and shade your hostas. Spirea is a flowering shrub that will leaf out early! You just need to pick a larger variety as some of them can be on the smaller side. An Oakleaf Hydrangea would be a good choice if you get afternoon shade! You could also try a Buddleia, a dwarf Vitex, an Abelia, or a dwarf or bushy variety of Crape Myrtle!
This is very common here in North Texas for Hydrangeas planted in our clay soil. I actually thought they looked pretty good after the rain we've had that washed away a lot of the nutrients in the soil. 😊 Yes they probably would love a dose of liquid iron. I just gave mine another round too!

We live in Houston and some people's containers and plants get stolen, so I can't put any in the front yard. But I do keep some in my fenced backyard. My struggle with containers is how much to water them.
I water my containers every 1-2 days in this heat. Lately it's been every day!
Is that a rex begonia in the first container? It looks like a cane begonia I have.
The black urn containers by my door each have Double Up Pink Begonias that I was overwintered from last year. They are doing so well though!
Oh my stars I haven’t even watched yet but what cute hair!! Okay, watching now 😇
Stacey- thank you so much!! It was time to chop the long hair... and I feel so much better!!

Next to her veggie garden there was a purple shrub right under her window, what was that?
That is a great question! I looked at it, and Stacie can correct me if I'm wrong; but I think it's Lorapetalum or Nandina.
Yes, that is a loropetalum in front of the window. It is a dwarf that should get no more than 24" tall.

That makes total sense! It is quite a shame, they are so beautiful and do so well except they are prone to RRD.
