I was a child growing up in the sixties. I remember my mom sewing up these patterns and that’s how I learned to sew. Loved growing up in the sixties! You look fantastic in every one of these beautiful creations! Thank you for sharing. Love your videos!
I luv these 60s vintage patterns. I was at an estate sale last summer and saw a box of around 100 of these patterns....should have bought the whole box.....dang it
I got married first time 69 ( he died very young), Made my own dresses when I was learning since 64. They said COURREGE-Style. IT was simple, simplier than the patterns my mother had
These patterns take me back to when I would help my mum by winding the handle of her sewing machine for her, then we got a treadle machine so I was redundant. But the years bring memory jogs to what was happening in the world and our lives. Thank you.

You look sooo cute in all of your makes. You have given me some new ideas. These also remind me of my mom, she used to wear those styles way back when😀

Wow!! What more can I say? Finding this made my day. I LOVED LOVED LOVED your fashion show. SO many dresses you made! They suit you so well too. I love the 60's and 70's fashions and patterns and due to the line drawings it can sometimes be an issue getting my head around the drawing to figure out what it will look like in reality. You are beautiful! Thank you!

Oh I love that dress, too, thank you Natural Dane!! I appreciate you watching. I just enjoyed your anniversary trip wardrobe - so great. Also the tutorials were wonderful.😄

Oh! I love your Fashion Show! You are so beautiful in all your cute dresses! I loved re-living the 60’s in such a delightful way! So wonderful how you used different fabrics and prints to update them. Great idea! 😀
Loved this episode, the sixties were my time ! I had to laugh when my grand-daughter came over with the "new" fashion cold shoulder dress. I told her I had made one in the sixties for a dance. I'm sure it was a Style pattern. Regretfully I had to leave a lot of stuff in England when we came to New Zealand, my pattern stash amongst them.
LOVED the 60s fashion show, Viv! While I admire those who sew vintage garments from the 40s/50s, etc they're often not that practical, nor styles I would wear. Your 60s dresses made with modern fabrics are fresh, wearable styles perfect for all sorts of occasions. I may have to search around to see if my mother happened to save any old pattern gems..:)
I loved every single dress! The fabric was beautiful and the 1960s style updated is fun and elegant at the same time. I'm thinking having you as the model helps this be so. Thank you the fashion show. Enjoyed every minute :-)
Wow! You go to so much effort to make these video's for us Viv. I would be exhausted with all those outfit changes. I've never thought of sewing up a 60's pattern before as I didn't think I would like the finished garment but you have proved me wrong. Thank you for putting so much effort and energy into entertaining us!
Thanks Laura! I had to shoot this twice!! The first time I could not edit my short videos together without losing half the frame. You’re really sweet to say all of this.😄
Wow Viv, they all look fantastic especially in the modern prints. My mum made that first dress and that brought such great memories. Many of the others were styles that my sister and I made for ourselves. Very Mary Quant and Twiggy. Your figure and height really set all the dresses off. Loved the culotte dress too. I made a few if those in my day. Such a great idea reviving all those old patterns. I'm just miffed that I never kept all my old patterns. Mind you I would need to do some major adjustments if I wanted them to fit my figure now! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
just a suggestion to add to your repertoire and because you are so talented, maybe some pattern suggestions in plus sizes. Possibly some great sew outs and a model to dress and share ideas. Just saying :)
