Yes I received an email requesting me to “click here” because you wanted to send me something! I didn’t click because giveaways are usually announced in a video.
All of your makes look really nice. I love the floral colors, and especially that pink dress, you look really youthful in it with the way you have your hair.😊 Glad you got your sewing mojo back.
I’m so delighted to see you back. You are such a sweet woman and so giving of your time and your gift. I’m not going to watch the video until the weekend. It will be my special treat to myself!!! You make a big difference in the lives of many people acros the world.
Great to see you back and modeling again. Always love your honest critiques on the patterns. I really liked the movement on that last dress material. Will keep my eyes out for the Suzanne Monaco knits as well. Thanks for the show.
I love your makes videos. You have such a eclectic style. Everything you put on looks great.. I wish I had half your talent. Please keep making these videos so I can stop watching all the old ones over and over.. The first dress you are wearing in this video is my favorite.
In my hundreds of years of sewing I have never seen a pattern that says sew the pattern on and then rip it off. But I rarely ever read pattern directions, found they confuse rather than instruct. The dress and cardigan look very pretty.
Look I never comment on videos but I just have to in this case. I am an absolute beginner to sewing and have just spent the past few days watching countless videos and your style and presentation of what you sew and actually showing us by trying it on - WINNER!!!!!!!!! New sub, I'm here for it!
Glad you’re here Pine Apple! As a beginner, do what you’re doing and continue to collect information. Sew clothes that aren’t terribly fitted so that you get the thrill of success. It’s a progression, like almost everything in life. Those of us who’ve sewn a lot still have duds and failures, but we keep going. Hope I can encourage you along the way. Welcome!😃
Vivian you are a classy lady. Super elegant. I very seldom sew looking at the instructions in the packets. I use my serger a lot. More than my machine. I have a Babylock Destiny. I use it for a lot of embroidery. I use the serger for a lot of garments. I also have a cover stitch. Babylock. But I became older and sewing is kind of hard. Please put more videos up. They are so complete. Thanks Vivian. I am an Esthetician. I worked for over 45 years. I love fashion and look pretty. I am from Buenos Aires and live in Palm Springs CA.
I actually made that last dress shortly after I graduated. I just made a little gathered spot in the front, made it very low necked, so I took some of the gathering out, added the bow and concealed a little more! Dress was actually comfortable and cool.
Hey vivacious Viv! It's wonderful to hear that you've got your sewjo back and even better to see you. Love to you and you family from me and mine here in the UK xxxx
So glad you are back! I love to watch Vivmom. I've been watching you for some time now and you are such an inspiration. Your sweet personality brings a smile each time I watch. Love your comments and tips. Thank you for all the interesting sewing content.
Thanks for resuming your videos. After a lifetime of rearing children and working full time, I am now retired and getting ready to start sewing again and your videos give me inspiration. The batik printed shirt and the last knit dress are my favorites. The colors and styles suit you very well.
Viv I love all your makes. I appreciate all your comments about the fabric you used and anything you found noteworthy in the patterns. Lovely to see you again.
thanks for the lovely fashion show...the pale soft pink dress looks wonderful on you...I too, have used stretch bengaline many times & had to cut on the cross grain to get the stretch in correct direction....
It is great to see you again. Try not to stay away so long. You did a great job on everything you made. There wasn't one outfit that did not look wonderful on you. From your last video, you stated that you weren't feeling your sewing mojoe. I think all of us get to that point at some time. But it comes back and its good to see that you are back to your old self again. Can't wait to see your next video. Continue to keep up the good work.
Hello Viv. It is really nice to see you back and you are looking well. I love all your makes and so glad you got your sewing MOJO back. I am still working on getting mine back. You are always fun and entertaining to watch and it makes me want to sew again. I love how you are honest about the fabrics and patterns you sew. I like you like my garments a little loose and not tight. Love the 70's styles. Nice to see Colton with his smile. He is a handsome young man. It is nice to see you back Viv. You made my day. You were surly missed.
Hahaha!!!! Love love love this one as I needed a pick-me-up today!!!!! The “clatter” of Collin popping in on his lunch break!!!! You say you make these patterns so we can see them on a”regular” person!!! Viv…. You are out of the realm of “regular”!!!!! You are gorgeous in anything you put on, witty and full of inspiration!!!! I must make that tie in the front Burda blouse!!!! Wonderful October makes!!!! Oh…. Sometimes I wish I were a fly on your wall when you are at your machine trying to figure out the reasoning behind some of the instructions given on these patterns!!! Hahaha!!!!!! I decided to go to my favorite thrift store yesterday! They still had a handful of children’s patterns I donated. I shopped around the store and went back to fabrics. My eyes once again looked at that shoebox of patterns and it was jam packed! They had brought out some new ones and at $1.00 each I bought 20!!!! I spent yesterday afternoon looking them all up on pattern reviews! I’m thinking I may have a problem….well….I know I do…with not being able to turn down a good deal on fabric and patterns!❤. So happy you enjoyed your “break” and got your motivation back!!! I missed you but I even enjoy watching past videos since I only “discovered” you this year!🎉😊❤
I love the last dress and your ruffly blouse outfit the very best. Sorry to see you had a scammer come on board. I love seeing your vlogs and to see the family. Collin is such a handsome young man. Hope to see you soon. As you can see, however, I am late in seeing you again. I also have been busy. Hope to see you soon!!!!
Yay! I love your monthly makes videos. You are so inspiring and make me want to sew sew sew. I never get tired of seeing your beautiful creations and smiling face.
I had a dream last night that u came to visit me. It was so real because I feel that you r an old crazy friend. It was a warm & fun dream 😊. I sew mostly knits & sometimes they r just super soft “house” clothes. I redesign the necklines / length too. Lately I can’t get enough sweater knits for pants & cardigans! I am a fabricmart junkie who loves to follow your sewing adventures. You r the sewing friend I do not have in reality 🤪.
I’m so glad to see you back and looking so refreshed and happy 😊. Loved all your makes this month. You are an inspiration and a bright spot in any day. Thanks for sharing! ❤
It is so good to see you again, Viv. I’ve missed you but am glad you got the break you needed. My sewjo has been gone for several months but I am just starting to try a couple of things. Enjoy making what pleases you.
Hi Vivmom: To soften up your batik shirt, use a 1:4 mixture of liquid fabric softener: water in a spray bottle. Spray your blouse well and then iron your shirt. The solution will soften your blouse fabric nicely. Works well on getting stubborn wrinkles out of pre-washed fabric. LOVE your fabric and pattern reviews! 🥰
Good to see you back & enjoying sewing again. I loved everything. I’m not sewing right now but it’s all for a good cause. Everything is packed up & leaving Virginia to go spend a little over a month with family in Florida. My sewing room is in the back of the car. I like the midi length & tea length also. I also like that length of night gown & on those cold nights here in Virginia I like pajama pants while I’m up and about.
Love seeing what you make. Soooo funny with your son...."if you're not wearing me-made, get out of the picture". I was laughing so hard. And he was smiling too!!! Soooo funny!!!
