Never apologize for extra time. It is a pleasure watching your makes videos! Thanks for doing all the pre-work for those of us who hesitate trying new patterns. 💫
The Muumuu was really cute in that fabric and the shorts are awesome! So much fun. the split front cropped pants are cute too and they look easy to make. Great April!!
I've never even heard of split pants before, but that was my favourite outfit, along with the wrap dress at the end. Well done for sewing so many things and not giving up.
Vivmom, Please stop apologizing about the length of your video. Take your time and give us a fashion show with your beautiful makes! We have seen the pattern hauls and the fabric hauls and love seeing the end results. Have a Happy May!
I am new to your channel and just love you! How you have time to make as much as you do is beyond me. It feels like it takes me forever just to get one item done. I am trying to figure out the right style for my body shape right now and have been trying to make stuff that is a little outside my comfort zone. My creative juices are getting a kick by watching your videos. Thank you!
Don’t worry about output, Tiffany. Any sewing is good sewing because you’re learning, you’re getting more and more comfortable with fabric and machine, and you’re using your brain. Time well spent!! I can crank out a lot of garments but I don’t want us to compare. I tend to sew fast and not spend a ton of time on fitting. That’s just my choice, and that’s the beauty of this craft: we can choose our level of involvement with each creative step. I say: keep sewing! You’re doing something marvelous!😄👍
What a beautiful model you make. Anything would look good on you. If I looked halfway that good I’d really get more motivated about sewing. People used to call me a clothes horse 50 lbs ago.
This 59 yr old loves those 60s too😄✌! I don't even sew but saw your video via watching my crochet vids. So glad I tuned in! My beloved mom in Heaven sewed and made me dresses with those 60s Simplicity and Jiffy patterns, thanks for reminding me of the beautiful days with mom cutting fabric at the kitchen table just for me. I'll tune in again to see more of your lovely work🎽😊👗
I really love your April makes. All the dresses, especially the first 2 and the last one. They look awesome on you. The mumu is perfect. Doesn’t look like most mumus. It’s kinda crazy that the “simple” labeled patterns were awful to sew!!! I like that you improvise and do it “Viv’s Way”. I’m looking forward to May as well. Come on sunshine and warm days. Thanks for sharing your makes with us. You Rock! Big Hugs 🤗💕🌷🦋🦜🌸🌼
Hi Viv! I jumped on here to rewatch Whitney's FBA video and there you were with your lovely smile and pattern makes! I love everything that you made. You are very good at picking printed fabrics and matching them with the right pattern for you.
I enjoy your makes and especially the different fabrics you use. You have a cute way of almost “ flirting” with the fabric and the camera. You’re fun to watch!! What you get made in a month astonishes me!
Pattern 8640, I bought the same pattern. I wasn’t so sure when I got home but after seeing it sewn up. I love it! Thinking of dyeing muslin with avocado pits. For a pinkish look. Ps. Longer stitches on knit fabric worked. The hem looks so nice now! Thank you!
You were a busy girl during April! The pink and yellow dress was so great! Also, like the wrap dress. Those crop pants with the slit look really fun. I may have to make those! Happy seeing!
Your monthly round-ups are always enjoyable. Don't worry about the time. If someone thinks its too long they can move on. Those of us that enjoy your monthly makes don't care about the time. That being said - I love each of your makes for April! I so want to find time to sew some things but I sew as my full time profession from home and can rarely carve out any spare time. But I have been buying patterns and some lovely fabric so when I can I will have things to sew. Looking forward to next month.
You are amazing. You don’t have to rush. You could talk for an hour. I love hearing about the garments, so I’ll know more whether I want to make one of them. You are truly amazing. I must repeat
I look forward to your monthly makes! They are definitely inspiring to make me sew. My favorite garments were the pants with the splits and shorts with the pleats. So unique and flattering!
Super cute makes every last one! And nice save on those adorable red and black print shorts! I had to laugh when you mentioned that piece of thread showing! That is so true when you think you have them all, there’s always one remaining that wants to show itself to everyone! LOL!
Hi viviane, Ronda is right, take your time, and we appreciate your super "defilé de mode" and the mannequin is gorgeous and so so kind ! you communicate your happyness and passion for sewing, I like particularly your dress yellow and pink Simplcity 8640, the pink wrap top ...and and ... thanks a lot, nice day, Bizzzz, Sylvie
Hi Viv, yes, I would definitely like to see that top with the shorts and a belt, I think it would look fabulous! I love seeing how you style your makes, you always look fantastic! As always, TFS 👍❤
You had a very successful April. Love all the patterns and fabrics that you put together and I know you will enjoy wearing them. The home dec fabric is perfect for pants, I use the make them all the time over 20 years ago, great prints. Saw a women today in a large border type home dec, looked like the flowers were growing straight up her legs, so darn cute. You have inspired me once again, I really need a dress! Now which one and what fabric, hope it does not take me all summer to decide. You are like sunshine , spreading joy, warmth and happiness. Happy May Day! Thank you so much for sharing.
Lovely, I’m not a dress person while I watch you I wish I was. I would love to see the pleated shorts and shirt together made of the same fabric. You are an inspiration to me and want to start making clothes. I would also love to see your closet I cant imagine all the wonderful outfits. Thanks again and no need to apologize for your timing it all seems to go by so quickly.
Gorgeousness! You are quite the prolific seamstress, Vivmom. I especially loved that burda top and linen slipover dress w funky hemline! Inspiring as ever...😍
I love your videos and I don't mind how long they are. The longer, the better. I can never pick a favorite piece because I always like everything . You inspire me to keep sewing. My daughter and I have 9 beginner sewing classes under our belt now. I am finishing up my wrap around skirt (I've done darts and pockets!) and my daughter has completed a summer shirt and is working on a romper. She loves sewing. I think I love the 60's patterns the most. Vintage is my thing. I would love to see you put the shorts with the top. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to the next one.
So proud of you and your daughter, Terri! It takes real dedication to complete classes and forge ahead. Good for you! You’ll have a skill that not many others possess, and you can make a custom wardrobe (or just a few pieces, your choice.) Thanks for watching Vivmom and leaving such nice comments!😄💕
Thanks Lise! I was getting a wee bit of pushback on those (“step away from the home dec fabric, Viv. Do not sew that into pants!”) but I am rebellious by nature so of course I had to do it.😃I like how they turned out. I need a few more workouts before they’re comfortable though (around the waist) but they’re good incentive.👍
Great job matching the fabrics with the patterns. You are a genius and all of your outfits were great. Take care. Please don’t rush as we enjoy your videos.
Hello Vivmon! No need for apologies for going over time! I enjoy your humor and honest opinions about the patterns. You have a beautiful family; it's obvious they love your beautiful work for them also! Keep it up! Can't wait to see the next video. Blessings.
Unbelievable...thankyou so my much for the fashion show. You are so pretty and delightful. My mom would sew night and day to cloth my two sisters, myself and my brother, as well as being a full time nurse. I'm 69 and a retired widow who yearn to sew again.. This time for my greatgrandkids. Thanks again!! Debbie from Fallbrook, Ca.
I love everything you made, but I especially love the color block dress. It looks fantastic on you. Don't worry about the time because I love your videos and look forward to them whatever the length.

I just stumbled across this video today while on a RUclips binge... oh my gosh you’re absolutely adorable..I loved watching your video and listening to your project reviews. 👍🏼
I love them all - they are all beautiful and you look so lovely in them - what a great model you are! I had never heard of a muumuu!! Had to google it :D

You are a fairy godmother when it comes to making those awful-looking pattern photos look so wonderful in the prints you created the garment in. Bravo bravo
U have an adorable figure for all ur makes...and I am in awe of how u choose varied fabrics for your pattern picks! I just discovered u and am hooked! Looking forward to future vids!
I love your videos. I am new to sewing and learn so much from how you talk about the issues with different patterns. Please don’t apologise for longer videos. It is great! I watch them while I have my breakfast. A great way to start the day! 😍
I really love almost all of them, and liked the one or two I didn't love. Your 'x amount of makes in x amount of minutes' is my favorite of all the people showing their makes. Seeing the clothes actually on you while you're moving makes it easy to understand both patterns and fabrics.
Don’t ever worry about going over! I really like the last one. I agree that the shorts and the top could look like a jumper, I can’t wait to see them... several likes in this video .
I agree don’t worry about the time, I always wish your videos were longer. You give me such inspiration ,I just love watching what patterns you use. I always look forward to your next video and they can’t come soon enough.
Love your videos no matter how long. If a video is too long to view all at once, I just stop it and watch the rest later. Not sure why that's not ok with anyone. I really love your makes. I especially love the wrap dress. Suits your frame, is a perfect length for you, and the fabric is perfect. Hope you have a wonderful May.
Well I'm going to the Hobby Lobby tomorrow for a sewing machine and fabrics I'm looking forward to un-boxing that. You have me going there and I have to thank you for it. : )
Loved all your garments...especially the one you had pattern problems with: Simplicity 1046...that fabric was to die for. What a great looking dress ! Thanks for sharing...always enjoy spending time with you.
Thanks Nancy! I had to save that dress; the fabric came from Mood in their $4.99/yard cotton spandex sale. It’s gray with a bit of coral outlining the flowers. They have more cotton jersey in that price range, but this particular fabric is sold out.
I was so excited to see that you'd uploaded another "makes" video! You do such a great job pairing your fabrics with the garments! You've helped to get me excited about sewing again, but I've started by making things for my little granddaughter. I'm still a bit nervous about sewing for myself....it's been so long.I have to figure out what my style is now. There are so many things that I love on you, but we're very different body types.
Joann Jacquin , she’s has inspired me too. And I have an entirely different body type than her too. I can wear very little of what she Sew’s but I love watching her and can’t wait to get sewing!
Don’t be nervous, Joann, but also don’t rush it. Wait until you find something you just love - that isn’t a fussy fit. Something comfortable and simple. Then grab some fabric that you adore and sew it up. You’ll love it. I hope I can help in any way possible!😄
When someone can make a muu muu look good, they know what they're doing! Well done! Don't worry about taking too much time - we love watching your results! Have you ever thought of making some vintage clothes and for fun try to sell them to a resale shop? Some hipster might go bonkers for it (you do such great work) and you could make a few bucks more in the process!
Thanks, MegaMagic! I don’t think I want to sell clothes. They make me mad enough to sew them for myself!! Plus I know that working under deadline, or for fussy consumers, would zap the joy right out of it. Believe it or not, there IS joy but there’s also a hefty amount of complaining!🤣
Never apologize for extra time. It is a pleasure watching your makes videos! Thanks for doing all the pre-work for those of us who hesitate trying new patterns. 💫
I love how you tell us when something may be a bit difficult. I also applaud you into making difficult projects seem so easy.
I love everything you made. I don’t care how long the video went. I loved every minute.
Thank you Linda!😄
I love all your videos. I absolutely love the wrap dress. The 1960's patterns are many memories for me. Love that you are making them.
That was so much fun!!
Absolutely love that linen pink and yellow dress, gorgeous
Loving that colour-blocked pastel linen dress!
Me too! I literally gasped when I saw it!!
Love almost all of them yellow and pink especially!!!
Please don’t stress about the length of videos! I love watching your videos. We want more, not less! More tutorials too! 💗
I really enjoyed this months makes, including the extra minutes.
The Muumuu was really cute in that fabric and the shorts are awesome! So much fun. the split front cropped pants are cute too and they look easy to make. Great April!!
When I need inspiration to sew, I watch your old fashion shows. Love from Colorado
I've never even heard of split pants before, but that was my favourite outfit, along with the wrap dress at the end. Well done for sewing so many things and not giving up.
Finally!!!! Someone with some class.
You gave me a chuckle, Debra. Thank you so much!😄🌺
Absolutely LOVE your videos!!!! Wish they were more often. Enjoy your honest reviews.
Great fashion show & I enjoyed the extra 6 minutes.
Vivmom, Please stop apologizing about the length of your video. Take your time and give us a fashion show with your beautiful makes! We have seen the pattern hauls and the fabric hauls and love seeing the end results. Have a Happy May!
I agree, I'd happily watch a longer video as Viv is so lovely and entertaining :)
Your creativity is very inspiring.
Exactly. We have been waiting to see it all together and we are not in a hurry.
couldn't have said it better myself!!!
Totally agree with you ladies.. longer the better

Vivmom Sews You my sweet friend are the treat. Love you.
Hi Viv! I jumped on here to rewatch Whitney's FBA video and there you were with your lovely smile and pattern makes! I love everything that you made. You are very good at picking printed fabrics and matching them with the right pattern for you.
The last dress is the best. Everything in it looks complementary to your figure: the freedom of fit, length, color. This dress looks very elegant.
I enjoy your makes and especially the different fabrics you use. You have a cute way of almost “ flirting” with the fabric and the camera. You’re fun to watch!! What you get made in a month astonishes me!
Okay, that full length dress is so great. I know those dropped necklines are aggravating.
The S1046 maxi is a success! You may not make it again, but your result is pretty. Love the fabric and the dress line. Inspiring vid!
Thank you!
I love that you did the home decor fabric pants! Always go with your gut because you know your stuff! The simplicity color block dress is so fun!
You were a busy girl during April! The pink and yellow dress was so great! Also, like the wrap dress. Those crop pants with the slit look really fun. I may have to make those! Happy seeing!

Yes, show the faux romper!! I love the first dress you showed. I turned my nose up at that pattern when I saw it, but you make it look so good!
And Vivmom, actually I think that crotch could be a little lower. I used to wear culottes in the sixties. I wear them when I rode my bike; to college!

Well you’re a wonderful sort to admit you felt wrong about those silly pants, Linda. Thank you!😄💕

Oh my I just love your videos. Please don't be sorry for the length of them. Please continue just as you are.
