Thank you, Eric. This was a great education. My wife has always loves shopping at Ross. We really appreciate your videos about the places we enjoyed in SoCal but did not know the history behind. For a suggestion, have you done any research on Juan Pollo? This was a favorite of ours when we lived there and have not found anything as good. In my opinion, El Pollo Loco is good, but a big chain of what Juan Pollo does, which is more homegrown authentic Mexican broiled chicken. Thank you!

Thank you for the suggestion. The founder of Juan Pollo recently passed away and he actually purchased the first McDonalds location/museum in San Bernardino. There is a memorial there of the Juan Pollo founder there.

Ironically, there is no Ross in San Bruno, but they do still have stores in San Mateo and Pacifica! One has closed in recent years in SF! One thing I don't think I've seen in decades has been the "irregulars" in the clothing that sold for way less. Those could be as simple as crooked sewing or flaws in denims and such.

I rarely shop there because of the crazy long lines (especially on Saturdays). Can't they hire more cashiers? There have been a number of times I found stuff I wanted to buy, but couldn't wait in line half an hour (or more), so I put it back.
