I am super curious. With this idea in mind, was it your experience that your children chose to eat more nutritious foods or did they ask for less nutritious foods more often? Did you just put in place a system where you didn't buy non-nutritious foods at all? What was your answer to what if they wanted something non-nutritious while at the store or what about when they went to school? Considering that many think little about feeding their children syrup, sugary jam and sweet breads at breakfast, I don’t think a little ice cream with fruit and a protein every now and then would be so bad. There is also the very easy fix of making you own “ice cream” at home that will satisfy. Like that decedent looking oatmeal shown in the video!

To share the loss of equipment and content in such a calm way to the public was amazing. Personally most of my words would have not been repeatable and certainly not shareable. This part of this video actually made me literally pause it and think deeply about some of the reactions I've made to, in comparison, such minor issues and how I need to be more positive about things that I can't change.

Oh our relationship is not without its hardships as well, I wouldn't want to make it seem more rosey than it is. It's just not something I'd film, if we were in the middle of a disagreement or argument, so it's not something anyone sees. I think all relationships have their struggles, that's normal. But indeed, we work hard on trying to communicate as well as we can, and try our best to understand and respect the other person's perspective, even if we don't agree with it. Why do people push couples so much about having kids? I find this to be an extremely invasive question.. I wish we could all stop normalising that people must have children at some point or assuming they want to have children and normalise instead the notion that, for many people, a childfree life is their happiest, most rewarding, most fulfilling life choice.

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry about your laptop. Years ago while we were doing a backup on our computer, it crashed and we lost everything - including all the photos of our 4th child's first year of life. I cried myself to sleep for 3 nights in a row. We held onto that computer (a tower computer) for YEARS before finally letting it go - we'd taken in to various places seeing if they could recover anything but the answer was always no. I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of it though until all those years later. Happy Anniversary and thank you for sharing so personally with us.

Tip: Always put your electronics that get soaked or wet in dry rice for at least a few hours. You want them to be fully dry when you take them out. This has saved many of my devices :)

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry about your laptop. Years ago while we were doing a backup on our computer, it crashed and we lost everything - including all the photos of our 4th child's first year of life. I cried myself to sleep for 3 nights in a row. We held onto that computer (a tower computer) for YEARS before finally letting it go - we'd taken in to various places seeing if they could recover anything but the answer was always no. I just couldn't bring myself to get rid of it though until all those years later. Happy Anniversary and thank you for sharing so personally with us.

Tip: Always put your electronics that get soaked or wet in dry rice for at least a few hours. You want them to be fully dry when you take them out. This has saved many of my devices :)

Really enjoying these vlog style videos. Also, people need to stop asking others when they are having children. It's such a deeply personal decision and the question is actually quite loaded. We shouldn't assume everyone wants to be parents and we also have no idea what struggles some people might be going through trying to conceive.
