Robin, don’t you ever, EVER apologize for speaking another language with an accent. We as dutchies have to learn a lot of languages in school and to speak it ON CAMERA is a great accomplishment. Be proud! Love, another Dutchie 😜
I agree. As another dutchie, school was definitely a struggle having to learn German, French, Spanish, Greek and/or Latin (depending on what you chose and the school)

You should be proud you are multilingual.I speak 5 Indian language,a little Korean and English with a gravy accent.I am proud to speak so many language.
Being multi lingual is definitely a bonus and the accent shouldn't bother anyone. If anything, you can switch to whwtavrr language you want when you meey people who speak only a specific language. Im a South Indian and most South Indians know a minimum of 4 languages.

What would be a whole new level for Pick Up Limes would be to turn the website into an app, where users can view recipes in an easy flip-through mode (e.g. one recipe has 4-5 flip-through pages: story behind the recipe, ingredients, instructions, tips, comments, etc). Such an app would be a tremendous help for fans like me whose vegan journey rely so much on PUL. I am so glad you asked for this feedforward! I truly believe in you and in the wonderful impact you are making in the world and can only wish you to never stop growing!
@PUL if you're interested in doing something like that and need an app designer/programmer let me know, always looking for ways to improve my skills on that :D
That would be fantastic. If you check out the way Jason Vale does his apps (werkly plans with a shopping lists, recipes and that you can mix and match) I'd buy it!!!

This is what we NEED more of, healthy food and healthy relationships... I think you guys being on the video together makes it better, even if Sadia is the one talking most, Robin brings so much to the video. Its hard to explain, but maybe a good comparison is when Sadia is alone in the video, but Robin is helping film. In those videos u can almost feel that the source of Sadias energy and love is behind the camera, while when Robin joins the videos it makes it whole.

It’s a incredibly nerve wracking Election Day here in the US. You can’t imagine how much this video meant to me today. It nourished my soul and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m not exaggerating when I say I love you two. Can’t wait to try my hand at making all this goodness in my own kitchen. Love to you both and the whole PUL team. Oh! The recipe looks really easy and interesting, will try it. You filming it together was really cute, and a bit different to usual videos. It obviously had a high production value, but at the same time it felt more relaxed xD i like that you showed a bit of the behind the scenes too with the placement of the cameras and the pics for the blog. @@jenm1 I see your point, but for me, not completely, but you should do some research about it ! :) Most flexitarian actually adopt a vegetarian diet most of the time, and eat meat or animal based proteins occasionally or rarely (special occasions, once a week or a month... or even less). The goal is to reduce meat consumption and mass production, to focus on plant foods, and to occasionally include meat that is ethically (and locally) produced.
First of all, I'm really happy to see you again. And secondly I have to say that I have watched your videos for a very long time and have always come to you for inspiration, but the fact that you started to be more transarent and honest and not so esthetically and flawlessly perfect makes you even more wonderful and relatable. The moment you said that you really needed to improove on the fact that you don't eat enough greens made me feel happy and genuinely relieved hahahah but I also hope that you reach your gole some day of course... I've missed you two!
Not sure if this is possible but would love to be able to search recipes on your website by selecting or searching by ingredients. There are days when I am home and I have a garlic, spinach, and chicken for instance and am not sure what to make and I end up typing in all three ingredients on google to try to find a recipe to follow. Curious if something like that is possible for the website? I can do it for one ingredient but maybe a host/multiple? Something to experiment!

For the website: one thing I've noticed is that the current one is super heavy on mobile and that's what I use when following recipes in the kitchen. If the new one can be a bit lighter that would be awesome. Also searching by ingredient!

I have made tofu scramble before, I have bought it and had it in restaurants. This was the best. I added a little tamari soy sauce and it was very good. Even non vegan family enjoyed it. Thank you. More recipes please.

As someone who tries to dispel mycophobia whenever possible, a friendly fact: all mushrooms are safe to touch, even the deadly poisonous ones. They are even safe to put in your mouth, chew, and spit out (swallowing nothing). The way a mushroom tastes is often used to help in identification. Do not consume any mushroom you have not carefully ID'd and you will be just fine.
Edit: Robin's letter swapping is called a spoonerism. For some reason in my last couple years of highschool I did this all the time without meaning to.
