It was good , Brie’s delivery seems rather cold in this trailer but I guess it works considering that she seems to be rediscovering her humanity in this through learning about her past . The action seems cool and the de-aging on both Fury and Coulson looks great . Also the Blockbuster thing at the beginning was a cool way to show the 90’s setting

When she wears that battle armor and skirt she owns it and when you watch her in action you aren't thinking about how "sexual" she's being portrayed but rather being able to focus on the story and character moment without being distracted because it was well executed on Patty Jenkins part. The Russos are too creative to let CM be the savior; this is going to take TEAM effort. And they'd better have Captain America say "Avengers Assemble." The trailer didn't excite me as the other MCU trailers, but I like the story line and I know I won't be disappointed. The MCU has built up years of good grace. No way I'm not seeing this film.

The scene with her finger print security and then the lights coming on. I don't think this is current day (when she meets Sgt. Fury, I think this is going back to when she is a pilot (hence her outfit). I'm thinking what happens is she becomes a pilot, she gets assigned to a special project to maybe test a new spacecraft. She enters this special area where the new spacecraft is stored and takes it for a test flight. For some reason she gets picked up by the Kree (maybe the spacecraft fails and they rescue her) then they can't return her to Earth because they don't feel Earth is ready to learn about creatures from another world. So they take her back to Kree and she becomes one of the star force. Then during a battle something happens, The Kree ship she's on gets damages and she gets into a life pod which sends her back to earth (crashes in Block Buster). She meets Sgt Fury and she explains to him about the Skrulls. Maybe the old woman is the Skrull that is on the table and the rest of the movie is them searching for the Skrull invasion. Yes, I put this together entirely on my own.
The major question for any Captain Marvel fans is this: Were you a fan BEFORE Carol became Captain Marvel or AFTER?? As a comics fan for over 30 years Carol Danvers original contribution for me came as an origin point for Rogue...and that is what made Carol interesting to me...We gotta bring her best bud Jennifer around soon...

Eventually, I think movies will be so advanced that you will be able to pick whatever actors you want in the parts and the AI will CGI that person into the parts with their voice so you can keep changing actors. The creators just put in a "recommended" actor list.

I think the falls and rises at different ages are far more closely connected than mere examples of her being resilient throughout her life. Each fall and each rise is virtually identical, except for the circumstances and her age. I think the falls and the rises are retroactive rewrites of her history, the first killing her and the second resurrecting her triumphantly into a new form of being.

The only thing i found epic about this trailer was the music and seeing Blockbuster again. But other than that trailer convinced me to just wait for the redbox to come out.
I still believe Kathryn Winnick would have been amazing as Captain Marvel, but I’m a huge fan of Brie’s acting and I’m excited to see what she does in the role. That being said I was just whelmed by the trailer. Not hyped at all. Usually Marvel is amazing at trailers and I don’t believe this one delivered in that aspect. This has been driving me crazy, so I'm hoping someone here can resolve this for me. It's been a long time since I've had my comic book collection out and actually read comic books, but I swear I have seen an almost exact image of the scene in the trailer where Carol Danvers in hanging upside down with her hands encased in the bell like devices. Now I can't say that the image I am thinking of was actually Captain Marvel but again I swear I've seen that image in a comic book. My collection is 60s, 70s and 80s and primarily The Avengers, X-Men, Defenders and Captain America. I might have a few of the Original Captain Marvel book (the Kree Mar-vell). Does anyone know where I might have seen that image. I would love to pull out my books and find it but I have no clue where to start looking.
I have to say, you guy's seem to be the most excited out of everyone I've watched, watching this today, they criticise Brie that she's too bland & the trailer seems too bleh & her power effects are nothing compared how the animation films/shows are, but I like it & I unfortunately have to say that most of the people will go for Samuel Jackson & Clarke Gregg, plus it's another Marvel Film, I'm not sayin that this film's going to be bad, but from what I've heard compared to what reactions I'm seeing, not a lot of hype for Brie but a lot of hype for everyone else which seems like a misstep kinda, but I'm lookin forward to this 100%

Eventually, I think movies will be so advanced that you will be able to pick whatever actors you want in the parts and the AI will CGI that person into the parts with their voice so you can keep changing actors. The creators just put in a "recommended" actor list.

I think the falls and rises at different ages are far more closely connected than mere examples of her being resilient throughout her life. Each fall and each rise is virtually identical, except for the circumstances and her age. I think the falls and the rises are retroactive rewrites of her history, the first killing her and the second resurrecting her triumphantly into a new form of being.

Also because of the Skrulls we will hopefully be introduced to a new Fantastic Four because the Skrulls are a pretty big villains for them. Also Skrulls can shapeshift to look like other people and they can even mimic superheros and their powers. And the Skrull we see on the beach is the leader and the leader can not shapeshift in the comics but in tbis tbey are changing it up for this movie. And there is a spolier that I can say here for the movie because if comics and leaked images but I will keep it a secret

I still believe Kathryn Winnick would have been amazing as Captain Marvel, but I’m a huge fan of Brie’s acting and I’m excited to see what she does in the role. That being said I was just whelmed by the trailer. Not hyped at all. Usually Marvel is amazing at trailers and I don’t believe this one delivered in that aspect. Also, Melanie ain’t wrong about Vemon. Wish he was in the MCU too 😍

Even if this movie does good, wich it probably will, i just feel that the Wonder Woman has some heartfel auntenticity to the characterization that i haven't seen in much Marvel movies and i honestly doubt we'll see in this.
carol danvers is a very different character. she's not from an island of magical lesbian warriors. she's not gonna wear a short skirt. she may threaten lesser men.

This has been driving me crazy, so I'm hoping someone here can resolve this for me. It's been a long time since I've had my comic book collection out and actually read comic books, but I swear I have seen an almost exact image of the scene in the trailer where Carol Danvers in hanging upside down with her hands encased in the bell like devices. Now I can't say that the image I am thinking of was actually Captain Marvel but again I swear I've seen that image in a comic book. My collection is 60s, 70s and 80s and primarily The Avengers, X-Men, Defenders and Captain America. I might have a few of the Original Captain Marvel book (the Kree Mar-vell). Does anyone know where I might have seen that image. I would love to pull out my books and find it but I have no clue where to start looking.

I have to say, you guy's seem to be the most excited out of everyone I've watched, watching this today, they criticise Brie that she's too bland & the trailer seems too bleh & her power effects are nothing compared how the animation films/shows are, but I like it & I unfortunately have to say that most of the people will go for Samuel Jackson & Clarke Gregg, plus it's another Marvel Film, I'm not sayin that this film's going to be bad, but from what I've heard compared to what reactions I'm seeing, not a lot of hype for Brie but a lot of hype for everyone else which seems like a misstep kinda, but I'm lookin forward to this 100%
