I've gotta say. The "learning to control the switches" montage was definitely something Carol needed. She was able to relax and let her "inner child" out. She was even able to laugh and smile for a while.
Yup...Loved Brie/Carol in this movie, I love that they were able to do this cuz I felt pretty neutral towards her character until this movie, now I really like Captain Marvel

It may not be one of Marvels strongest movies, but the chemistry between the 3 leads, the short runtime, the well directed and choreographed action and comedy make it such a fun movie. It deserves more love. Plus Kamala is one of the best new characters introduced to the MCU in years
I love how Carol and Monica are both very poorly adjusted and traumatized adults, and Kamala comes from a loving fairly normal family as a teen and immediately goes for the hug. I could DEFINATELY use a Kamala as a friend as an adult.
I really thought the ending where she thinks this Maria is her mom is heartbreaking, she’s desperately trying to reconnect with her in shock but this Maria is just coldly like “who the hell are you?” so she can’t give her the comfort she desperately has wanted since she came back from the Snap.
As somebody who lost their mom suddenly three years ago, I completely understand and felt that desperation. Such a good moment that I hope (should) get expanded on next time we see them together
Love that they brought back so much of the Kahn family back for this. Watching the making of Assembled feature on D+, they had to film so many of the fight scenes multiple times because they didn't know when they would have them swap.
The fight choreography, especially the first fight when they cannot control the "switches", is incredible. Highlight definitely being Monica knocking the Kree across the room, passing through him, and then punching him at the end of his "journey".
The Skrull emperor said, "This isn't what we discussed," to which she responds with the atmosphere line. She clearly was planning on taking the atmosphere one way or another, regardless of if the Skrull knelt to them or not, & the fact she changed the negotiated terms unilaterally in the room shows she wasn't serious about the negotiations. It was just a way to get them to let her come down to take their atmosphere.
In the X-Men universe, her mom was wearing the uniform of Binary. In the comics, she was... a sentient example of Carol's former powers that the Pheonix force gave life to. It was weird, but it was another version of Carol Danvers with powers linked to a binary star, while Rogue had her original powers. Bottom line, I think it was just an easter egg for those of us that read X-men back in the day and would recognize the Binary costume. I can't imagine they'll try to explain it and keep her around as another hero. Fun reaction! Thanks everyone!
It has nothing to do with Phoenix. After Carol lost her powers when Rogue drained her, she was hanging out with X-men and was kidnapped alongside them by the brood. At some point during that story she got linked with a white hole (opposite of a black hole). At that point she took on the name Binary.
@@knighthawk3749Right. Brood experiments revealed that Carol Danvers has latent mutant genes that were then activated by exposing her to a white hole (comics get weird don't they?), and she became Binary.
Yeah, she's maybe my favourite addition post Endgame. Like Calvin said, she's just good energy. IF there's some sort of reset coming I hope she sticks around too.
@@YodatheHobbit Not everyone knows it. It's also just funny because of the contrast in tone between the music and and the visuals of terrified people being consumed by tentacle monsters.
@@YodatheHobbit Most certainly not true. I pointed it out while watching it with my dad and he said it made the scene funnier. So... Not everyone is as "well cultured" as you.
When I was watching this in theaters especially when we got to the climax immediate thought was, “This is like an episode of Legends of Tomorrow” and I most certainly said that as a compliment!!
I knew that this would get released in streaming and the reactions would be way more positive than the theatrical release. This movie isn't top tier, but it's nowhere near the bottom...and it's a lot of fun.
You’re overthinking this a bit, the Supreme Intelligence was the leader and ruler of the Kree Empire (the emperor if you will). After Carol destroyed it, she had hoped that the Kree would see a peaceful transition of power and get a new, more benevolent leader. But instead the Kree began infighting amongst themselves and that’s what led to the depletion of their planet Hala’s resources and the death of their sun. It’s kinda like what happened with the Galactic Empire after Palpatine died, various officers and high ranking officials saw the massive power vacuum left behind with the leader’s death, tried to fill it, and that led to massive amounts of infighting and power struggles.
Yeah they also mistakenly thought hala was the Skrull world when I’m pretty sure they come from a planet called skrolos that was subjugated by the kree and then destroyed by the kree leading to their eternal refugee status. I personally don’t think captain marvel did anything wrong by destroying the artificial intelligence that gaslit and enslaved her turning her into a weapon to hunt refugees. And then if the kree were dumb enough to destroy their own world through civil war because they didn’t have a computer telling them what to do then fuck em.
I don't get why they tried to make the Kree simpathetic: as far as the MCU is concerned they are a warmongering empire who destroyed itself the moment they lost their AI dictator, why should I be concerned and feel guilty for their demise? Since the beginning was apparent to me that Dar-Ben was full of crap and on the same level as Ronan as a simple villain that needed to be put down
personally, i LOVED this movie. Haven't thought about it too hard but I'm sure you could find stuff to nitpick or do differently, as is the case with most superhero movies, especially sequels. Speaking of sequel, this is definitely better than its predecessor. i genuinely can't remember if and when i had this much fun watching a marvel movie
You can see the beginnings of Civil War 2 Carol in the Skrull rescue scene. Also, just realized that Monica is the grown up of Kamala in that she's the little girl that idolized Carol.
The second civil war is tony vs carol. Won’t spoil the ending. It was an ok run. I thought the OG civil war hit all the emotional buttons. Talking about comics not movie btw.
1:00:22 the kree was never gonna give the skrulls peace. They are the reason the skrulls are refugees. The biggest difference is maybe without carol interfering they may have had time to save more skrulls. she was being diplomatic but she was never really negotiating under good intentions.
A lot of people hating on the scene of Monica phasing through an enemy to punch him back that it looks "like a powerpoint animation" just because they're watchkng that scene out of context. If you watch the whole fight, of straight action one shots, that was actually a well-placed break where it uses silence and slow mo to punch back on the music and action.
I’ve heard people say that if they framed Carol as the villain of the first act, we could have had a more interesting movie. I certainly agree that this might be the first movie of the century that could stand to be ten minutes longer. I liked what we got and I haven’t laughed at anything in Marvel more than the Flerkin “rescue” scene.
Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with the bones of this movie, but there could've been a bit more meat on them. Especially since it would inevitably get compared to Guardains of the Galaxy (vol. 3). The drama could have been more dramatic and the comedy could have been more comedic and the movie as a whole could have had more style. It works, but it doesn't fully "go for it" enough to really stand out in the sea of decent comic book movies.
I would love to see CM3 where it is revealed that she is a villin. The idea that of course your friends are nice to you. It is how they treat people that they don't like that matters.
I agree. I think it's tough to make an interesting "superman" movie, or any movie where the hero is just as overpowered. It was an interesting choice having her accidentally commit genocide and cutting herself off from everyone while she tried to "fix" it. There just needed to be more.
@@Swenglish Said basically the same while I was watching it; it's ok-to-good in parts, and the bones are there for a better movie. With 10-15 more minutes and maybe another pass through the script I think it would have been a much better received movie.
I doubt you guys noticed but Dar-Benn was played by Zawe Ashton who besides being Tom Hiddlestons partner, was Officer Journey Blue in Doctor Who Season 8 in the Episode Into The Dalek
I feel like Kamala is the new heart of Marvel. She feels like the new Cap, the one with a strong moral code who keeps everyone together and on the right side. I'm so stoked for this new phase of Marvel!
Ms. Marvel really made this movie for me. Her energy and her character were amazing. It also seemed like Brie Larson had a lot more fun in this movie then in the previous ones.
This movie felt like there was an entire Captain Marvel 2 movie that they skipped over and this one was the 3rd in the trilogy. It was very choppy as a whole but I had some fun with it. The cast is good and have good chemistry.
Binary in the comics has a complex history. The original Binary was Carol Danvers herself. She "evolved" into Binary while with the X-Men fighting the Brood. The modern version I am less familiar with, but I think is some kind of "manifested being", that is not a specific existing person. Like, Binary "manifested" out of Carol or the Universe or something. Binary is a new lifeform. It looks like Maria is supposed to be the "first" version of Binary. Since she is with the X-Men. Maria WAS the Universe 838 Captain Marvel and a member of the Illuminati. Wanda absorbed her energy and crushed her under one of the ginormous statues.....
I feel like in the future Peter Parker's gonna turn up and lead some Young Avengers like he stepped up and became the guy who had previous experience working as a team in "No Way Home". That was his "practice" as Avengers leader.
This movie is proof how an incredibly entertaining movie can be taken down by toxic people on the internet. The fact that while The Marvels failed at the box office but has had incredible success on streaming proves that point. I remember seeing this in theaters, and everyone in the theater was laughing or cheering throughout this movie. And everyone that left the theater said the same thing they thought it was a very fun movie. I mean how can you watch the scene of everyone getting rescued/swallowed by space kitties to the song from the musical Cats and not laugh?
First off, nice try stretching "incredible success on streaming" with ìt just being #1 on Disney+ because it's the newest film on there. Second, it was critically panned so you can't blame it on "toxic" people. Everyone claps like seals in a theater so that anecdote doesn't fly since I could say barely anyone laughed in my showing. It's very telling that the people defending this poorly made film just say that it's fun. That's how you know it's bad.
@@za-ir5ni and it shows how bad this age of online extremism is. Everything has to be great, amazing or even perfect for any form of media to be considered good, and anything less is considered terrible. It’s toxic and corrosive.
The "civil war" was on Hala. Among the Kree. You can't have a civil war between two different countries, like a war between US and Russia isn't a Civil war but a war between two states would be. the civil war caused the damage from weapons used by the civil war. Also, the Skrulls were never on Hala, they were considered a rogue terrorist state.
Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Stature ( Cassie Lang), Speed and Wiccan (Tommy and Billy Maximoff), America Chavez, Ironheart (RiRi Williams), Iron Lad (Harley Keener). You could add in Rescue (Morgan Stark) if you want to. That looks like 9 of them, with 6 confirmed in the role they would take. Speed hasn't been found yet, and Morgan hasn't been confirmed as taking over for her mother, and Harley isn't confirmed as having his armor yet. Right now, the recruitment is still at 2, but there are at least 9 potential candidates. There's also Franklin Richards as well to round it out to 10. We also have the mutant universe coming, and that means the New Mutants reimagined as Marvel sees them. There are quite a few youths there.
Guys... it's a MULTIverse. You can have one actor be a X-MAN in one universe and another actor in others. Multiple faces for the same characters. That's the whole point. Different faces. Different actors for most of those Loki's in LOKI, remember? We don't NEED to have all the same actors from the old movies for more than one movie. One universe can have Hugh Jackman as Logan and Anna Paquin as Rouge, another universe can have Hugh as Logan, and Anne Hathaway as Rouge. Keyword is INFINATE possibilities of the multiverse. The same characters have different faces. There doesn't need to be a new group or old group. ANY ACTORS CAN WORK.
I absolutely agree with Eric in regards to the villain. The villains are often the weakest point of these movies, and the ones that aren't weak are the ones that are deep with lore and backstory and their motivations are clear. I honestly would have loved this movie more if it was just an adventure of the marvels figuring out their entanglement. i don't need world-ending threats/villains in every movie.
@@Melanie-jy2nw you don't always need a world ending threat for there to be stakes. A well written story can exist without a villain, even. The opposing force would have been their entanglement, and the threat that not having control over that brings. The biggest problem with Marvel (in my opinion) right now is that they're always trying to 'one-up' the last movie. So it always feels like stakes for stakes sake, and it's draining the fun out of what could otherwise be a great movie. But that's just my opinion, no one else has to agree with it :)
Marvel has always struggled with villains, even from the beginning. There have been several insanely good villains but the bad ones greatly outnumber the good ones.
@@ListerWalkthroughs The only reason they had to figure it out quickly was because there was a threat. That's the sole reason they were entangled in the first place. Without that, there would be nothing holding the movie together other than a string of random things happening, and they wouldn't be entangling cause there's no valid reason to use their powers. If you acknowledge that the marvels are the core of the movie and that the villain isn't that important, can't you enjoy the movie anyway, without paying that much mind to the villain? Maybe I'm the only one who does that with certain movies I guess. I even enjoyed Thor the dark world cause I was there for the Thor/Loki dynamic and the shenanigans of the convergence. I don't mind if the villain isn't the most compelling, so long as the movie also understands it and properly focuses on the other characters and their relationship that are core to the movie. For example, you can't say Ronin shouldn't have been in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie because he is uncompelling. He fulfills his role just fine and replacing him or shifting the focus towards him would take away from the Guardians. Dar-benn fulfills her role in this movie just fine as well.
For a while Carol Danvers was with the X-Men as Binary. That’s who Maria Rambau is in the post credit scene. I have no explanation why it’s Maria rather than Carol.
Well, in multiverse of madness, Maria got the powers and became captain marvel instead of Carol, so, this could be that bur she became Binary instead of Captain marvel, also cause Monica was gonna eb the one trapped in the x-men universe
I would love to see Monica Rambeau and Vision using their phasing powers together, or against each other. Considering she got her powers in WandaVision, there is an opportunity to get them together on screen again.
So glad you guys enjoyed this, I had a lot of fun watching this one! Kahmala is everything that is good in this world! Also, can't wait for the young avengers!!
It feels like they are setting up that in at least some Universes, Maria won the "race". We've now seen HER be Captain Marvel and Binary. What if our Universe is the ONLY "outlier". Carol didn't "cheat" in any other Universe?
Park seo jun (prince) is a very big korean actor from itaewon class, Hwarang I know Bree Larson used to sing and did sing for scott pulgrim vs the world

I saw someone compare this movie to Legends of Tomorrow, and I really think that’s an accurate comparison. And a good one too, I love LoT and really enjoyed this movie.
This movie is one of the "triggers" setups for the Young Avengers Initiative Storyline in most Marvel Universes The team's first members are Billy Maximoff/Kaplan = Wiccan Tommy Maximoff/Kaplan = Speed Kamala Khan = Ms.Marvel Gwen Stacey = Spider-Gwen/Girl America Chavez = don't remember hero name Kate Bishop = don't remember hero name don't remember his real name = Hulkling And then there's squirrel girl and falcon, but that's kind of rare Then they have Nick fury as mentor, but he's gone all the time, so the "all the time" mentor is usually Captain Marvel, an Avenger, or Peter Parker
So, we know Tony Stark was super-rich and had a high-tech house in Malibu. The mid-credit scene can mean only one thing. Kamala {probably on Alpha Flight} obviously saw the surveillance video of Nick Fury recruiting Tony.....
I’m thinking the Kree home world might be a Kardeschev level 2 civilization. In other words they’re capable of harnesses the full energy output of their sun. Instead of doing something massive like a Dyson sphere or something, they’ve been siphoning off the energy of their sun directly. Doing that may have required direct management from the supreme intelligence. With it gone, they’ve been siphoning sun no longer operates properly.
Finally watched this movie the other day and it was so much fun! Kamala had me cracking up pretty much the whole movie! She’s very quickly become one of my favorite characters in the MCU. Iman literally feels like she was made for this role. And the teamwork of the action was freaking amazing! They were so in sync! I really loved the scene of them jumping rope and stuff to practice. Honestly this may be in my top ten MCU projects AT LEAST.
Amazing movie. Saw it twice in the theater, which is super rare for me, as I almost never go to a theater to see the same movie twice. Super fun, creative, great writing, acting and characters.
I really don't get why some folks who aren't into certain things feel the need to drop into a reaction video just to trash talk the movie. Like, I'm here 'cause I genuinely enjoyed the film and wanted to see how others reacted to it. But then you've got these people showing up in the comments just to hate on the movie and anyone who's having a good time with it. Hope y'all find something you actually like. I mean, I'm not into chocolate, but you don't see me hanging around candy stores telling people it's awful, right?
They're desperately lonely and actively seeking out things to hate in hopes of gaining validation from other desperately lonely people. They make hyperbolic negativity their entire personality because they don't know how to be real people. Also they're usually bigots.
Having watched this last week, I will say I enjoyed it for what it was, a funny superhero movie for kids and teens. It was not made for me or people like me, that is clear but I still had fun Also, Iman Vellani did great in this, loved her fan girl expressions when she started talking faster and higher in pitch, and then her screaming in horror at Goose's Flerken abilities was so funny
I actually thoroughly enjoyed this movie! Compared to other recent MCU projects that I was not as excited about The Marvels was a really fun MCU adventure film. I really liked getting to see Carol be more human, loved more MS. MARVEL!, and the whole conflict with Monica and Carol. I loved getting to see more of the random planets in the MCU. THE villain wasn’t great sure but I think her whole taking from other planets to save her own was actually interesting and felt very comic booky. Loved everything with Kamala and her family experiencing all of this MCU craziness.
1:33:02 yeah I kinda miss the midnight premieres, but I am grateful they’ve started to at least do like 6 PM on Thursday nights. Depending on the movie there will still be a big event crowd for that premiere. Endgame had my theater at 6 PM looking like Circle of Life with all the animals gathering at Pride Rock for the presentation of Simba
Some of it might be because I watched it with my family, but I had a lot of fun with this movie. Of course I had my fair share of problems with it, but there were also many things I really enjoyed. Iman Vellani in particular was a consistent high point for me.
1:33:35 Omg, thanks! I noticed that when kamala came back, she was missing one bangel, but somehow, i didn't realise that carol had the other one during the rest of her scenes
Love this movie and Kamalla just makes everything better and continues to be my favourite character and Iman continues to be the perfect casting for her
That was supposed to be in MCU for while, some sort of "half promises" were made to fans for some scenes with those 2 in Thor Love + Thunder, but either Taika with his ego cut that out or Disney erased it out of fear of direct queer content in blockbuster movie. Other ppl say they were more scenes between those 2 filmed for Marvels movie too, but they cut them out.
As a Doctor Who fan I saw the Flerkin as mini Tardis And the Kree harvested the material from the sun like in "42". So as the war intensified, they harvested too much material that caused their sun to no longer have a proper reaction.
The fact that during the flurkins on the space station, during filming they must have had like 20 cats just running around, and I can just see most of the cast including Brie playing with them lol
Now, I feel bad about taking people's negative reception of this movie at face value and restraining from watching it until now. This was one of the most fun mcu movies I've seen in a while! I actually want to address some of the misconceptions I had about the movie now! I initially thought the whole premise of cramming 3 characters in a female lead movie "just cause" would make for a nonsensical cringy movie, but it was actually executed really well! No cringy dialogue, no "girl power" moment that pulls you out of the movie (like many people claim), just pure fun! The trio's dynamic was always interesting and fun while remaining natural. And the explanation of how they got entangled and how their switching works actually makes sense! A criticism I heard about this movie is that the switching just happens at random, but having watched it now, it's clear that the switching ONLY and ALWAYS happens, when two of them use their powers at the same time. You can appreciate the amount of detail and choreography that went into the fights in this movie with this power in mind! Definitely upper half of the MCU in terms of fight choreo. Another criticism I heard is how uninteresting the villain is. I agree, she isn't interesting, but I also don't think she needed to be. This movie is about the marvels' dynamic and having to establish some deep connection between the trio and the villain would take away from that and make this movie more serious than it really needs to be. Not to mention that it would needlessly lengthen a movie that doesn't really need to be that long. I miss when every movie had this length. One last criticism I heard is that Nick Fury is too unserious here. Since most people saw this movie coming off Secret Invasion, I can see their perspective. Personally, I like Fury more in this movie than in SI. I feel like Fury here is as witty as you expect him to be, while in Secret Invasion he seemed befuddled by everything happening around him most of the time. In fact, I think Fury comes off stronger in this movie because he keeps his cool and confidence the whole way though. I think all the actors did a great job. Iman Vellani as Ms Marvel was the most endearing part of this movie. She held the trio together. If she ever becomes the lead of the Young Avengers, I think she has the charisma for it. All in all, having watched this movie, I can see what they were going for, and I can say they successfully executed it, which is more than you can say for a lot of recent MCU movies. After this movie, I am the most excited for the future of the mcu that I have been since Spiderman NWH.

Thanks everyone!
cool
It has nothing to do with Phoenix. After Carol lost her powers when Rogue drained her, she was hanging out with X-men and was kidnapped alongside them by the brood. At some point during that story she got linked with a white hole (opposite of a black hole). At that point she took on the name Binary.
I feel like the line in Carol's memory "It should have been you that day" is the set up for an alternate universe where is WAS Maria....
@@johnpsanchez have you not watched Multiverse of madness?
@@knighthawk3749Right.
Brood experiments revealed that Carol Danvers has latent mutant genes that were then activated by exposing her to a white hole (comics get weird don't they?), and she became Binary.

I knew that this would get released in streaming and the reactions would be way more positive than the theatrical release. This movie isn't top tier, but it's nowhere near the bottom...and it's a lot of fun.
Eric's physical reaction to seeing the blue hands pass the screen then the freezing in shock when Beast is shown... Hilarious
And then if the kree were dumb enough to destroy their own world through civil war because they didn’t have a computer telling them what to do then fuck em.
not leader all kree empire was govern by AI .. they were not used to govern yourself so civil war
@@xmatobujnakxRonan was not governed by the SI.
@@johnniequinn3215 Only because he worked for Thanos.
In Ms. Marvel when she learns her genes are mutated, the X-Men cartoon theme is briefly heard.
Monica being in the X-Men mansion blew my mind. Can't tell specifically, but I think that's the same room area where Wolverine and Jean woke up?
People forget there's a whole colony of Flerkin on Earth now. Threat level: High.
You can see the beginnings of Civil War 2 Carol in the Skrull rescue scene.
Also, just realized that Monica is the grown up of Kamala in that she's the little girl that idolized Carol.
Sorry can you elaborate what you said about Civil War 2 Carol?
The second civil war is tony vs carol. Won’t spoil the ending. It was an ok run. I thought the OG civil war hit all the emotional buttons. Talking about comics not movie btw.
@@Bhint320610but what is the relation with what the dude said about Skrull rescue scene?
I absolutely loved the fun vibe of this movie. The main actresses were just having such a good time.
THANKS for this!!!!! This movie is so fun and I'm so glad you see it the way I do!!!!
@@Swenglishya making me hungry
The fight scenes were so cool and creative, they definitely used the switching gag correctly
This was most fun I've had with a marvel project in a long while
I doubt you guys noticed but Dar-Benn was played by Zawe Ashton who besides being Tom Hiddlestons partner, was Officer Journey Blue in Doctor Who Season 8 in the Episode Into The Dalek
At the end she's like "Oh shit, I didn't want a super hero name, and now I need one but don't have one."
I feel like Kamala is the new heart of Marvel. She feels like the new Cap, the one with a strong moral code who keeps everyone together and on the right side. I'm so stoked for this new phase of Marvel!
“Oh, never mind, it’s just Carol”😂😂😂😂 one of the funniest fucking moments in the MCU

I don't see why people were complaining about this movie. I enjoyed it.
Wow... I wonder how your brain works.
Kamala is the best!
Both of the end credit scenes are epic too!
Ms. Marvel really made this movie for me. Her energy and her character were amazing. It also seemed like Brie Larson had a lot more fun in this movie then in the previous ones.
This was fun! I saw this in theater twice. I really enjoyed this movie, it's just a fun time with old friends!
It was mediocre.
Which is fine. Not everything can be Infinity War level.
@@nabooxodonosoras8022 THANK YOU.
Eric's face when the realization hit during the ending lmfao
The evacuation with the flerkens is the greatest scene in this film. It’s just so adorable!
There are quite a few youths there.
one of the things i love, is Kamala just assumes that at somepoint an avenger will just randomly be teleported into space as a test
Guys... it's a MULTIverse.
When Carol was with the X-Men, she used the name Binary. Maria's outfit at the end was Binary's costume.
There is being Kree as a race, then there is being apart of the Kree Empire that was ruled by the former supreme intelligence.
This was just a fun movie and I loved it so much! Our trio was amazing!
This movie was such a great time. The fight choreography was insane!
Then where would the stakes be tho?
*''the ones that aren't weak are the ones that are deep with lore and backstory and their motivations are clear.''*
and dar-benn fits the profile
Carol even says to Maria in the movie, that she wished Maria became captain Marvel instead of her. So in other universes, Maria is Captain Marvel.
Kamala Khan is a FREAKING STAR!!! Loved her in Ms. marvel too
Kamalas scarf being a whip was a reference to her old powers being able to stretch her arms
The technical achievements in this film certainly don't get enough credit.
I've heard the woman who composed the score is deaf. She did a hell of a job.
I really liked this film. I understand the criticisms made, but the film is still very fun and the character dynamics are very good.
Post-credit costume is Binary's. Carol Danvers became Binary in the 1980s during the X-Men's Brood Saga.
It feels like they are setting up that in at least some Universes, Maria won the "race". We've now seen HER be Captain Marvel and Binary.
What if our Universe is the ONLY "outlier". Carol didn't "cheat" in any other Universe?

This movie is one of the "triggers" setups for the Young Avengers Initiative Storyline in most Marvel Universes The team's first members are
Billy Maximoff/Kaplan = Wiccan
Tommy Maximoff/Kaplan = Speed
Kamala Khan = Ms.Marvel
Gwen Stacey = Spider-Gwen/Girl
America Chavez = don't remember hero name
Kate Bishop = don't remember hero name
don't remember his real name = Hulkling
And then there's squirrel girl and falcon, but that's kind of rare
Then they have Nick fury as mentor, but he's gone all the time, so the "all the time" mentor is usually Captain Marvel, an Avenger, or Peter Parker
So, we know Tony Stark was super-rich and had a high-tech house in Malibu.
The mid-credit scene can mean only one thing. Kamala {probably on Alpha Flight} obviously saw the surveillance video of Nick Fury recruiting Tony.....
I like how the Supreme intelligence is comic accurate in this movie.
"There's so many uninhabited worlds..." because it's not just about the resources. It's about power.

Ms. Marvel: Oh captain, my captain!
Gabo: (Wish) I have no response to that.
