I have to say this is the first demo on this pedal that actually explained how it worked!!! And you really are the first to make the reverse sound musical, and not a crappy mess. I have watched a few of your videos now, just subscribed, as you explain things the way I hear them. Communication!!! Thank you much, Sir.
excellent review. mine arrived today.i've had all the tape stuff and watkins since the sixties.i am more than pleased with this little belter.value for money even here in rip off england is fantastic.
Yeah soz dancetech,i was aiming the criticism at that weird world music guys demo, forgot i was on different page and wrote it b4 watching your demo. That WAS helpful.Again,my apologies, your posts are always helpful.rock on bro
Ace demo my friend! I got one of these last week after nearly spending £112 on the Line6 Echo park. This does the exact same, near enough, so i'll stick with this for a while. Thanks for the ideas
Hi mate. Brilliant review. Learned a lot abaout this pedal. One question tho. In the first 3 modes. 1/4, 1/8 and dotted 1/8 is it only tap delay you can use to set the delay time? or can you set it using the delay time knob? Thx
Hi sir, First off - thanks for all the excellent pedal reviews, they have really helped me in finding the right effects for me. I have one question though: is it possible to get into tap-tempo mode while the effect is turned off? I'm looking to set the tempo first and activate the delay later. Bonus Q: do you know what happens when "trailing" is on and the effect is self-oscillating? Will it self-oscillate after you turn the effect off? Thanks
Bought one yesterday... i owned a real Roland tape echo in the past, and this pedal gets a nice tape echo emulation... I'm going to use it in my Marshall's FX send/return along with a Boss Tremolo and, in the future, a Behringer Rotary Machine
YES I USE IT WITH MARSHALL RIG OVERDRIVEN AND THEN A BOSS TURBO DISTORTION for more distortion - THE ECHO MACHINE HAS DUCKING MODE which is good cos no echos clutters the notes when you play, only the repeats follow AFTER you play - look up what audio-ducking means if you arent sure. I leave mine set in 'ducking mode' - it's a very versatile delay unit for little money
Thanks for the great demo! Question: When the 'Mix' level is at maximum, is only the effected sound output? I'm asking because I would be using this in an effects loop rather than as an insert.
One brilliant thing I like to do with this is to have it set on reverse mode, mixed to completely cut the dry signal and with the delay time really low. Then I crank up the feedback and all my notes sound backwards and dreamy. Really psychadelic sounds, especially if you use tape mode with a slight ammount of modulation, enough for subtly. Also works weel with some reverse reverb. Needless to say, I'm a self styled mad scientist of sound :P
Could you or someone please help me. I'm not getting the 'stereo' effect. May be am doing something wrong but I have this delay pedal connected in the same way as my stereo reverb pedal which doesn't give me this problem. What's happening is the effect is heard only on one side wherever I have ouput A hooked up, right or left. Output B just giving plain guitar sound. Is my pedal faulty or I'm missing something? I'm directly recording through my interface that has multiple inputs/outputs. Please help. Thanks a lot.
Hi there! Have a question to you. When you turn on Trails, and crank Mix knob to maximum, is your effect able to bypass deactivated pedal, and play clean guitar sound??
Hi. Would you prefer this pedal over the Vintage Time Machine? Could the EM600 deliver the same kind of sounds? I like the construction and deeper tone of the VM1, but the versatility of this other pedal. Thanks.
this pedal costs nearly in 4 times less than line-6-echo-park, but i don't think that echo-park is in 4 times better than this one. so i'm gonna buy it. nice demo. thanks.
what would be the difference between this and say, the Ultimate Reverb pedal? i am looking at buying one of them but can't decide if there's a discernible difference between the two...
I love the entire 'machine' franchise within Behringer stompboxes. I will soon be a proud owner of this pedal, and i am already a very happy owner of a Behringer Reverb Machine. Completely unmatched, and so fantastic. Cheap copies of the real thing of course, but a very, VERY good copy, it would almost be retarded to buy the expensive, 'real' pedals, seeing as these are the exact same thing, only cheaper, and smaller, which equals in more space in the pedal board. Great stuff, Behringer is.
well i have 2. one is a bit noisey and the other isnt - I'd say with that model ONLY, if possible try it in the shop before leaving after you buy it. check it is ok. Anyways they are guaranteed for a year so if it is noisy take it back. btw, the noise on one of mine is when the pedal is OFF not on. Not sure why, when it is switched on it is fine
is this pedal any good with distortion because i like a very subtle bit of delay with distortion as it gives a reverb affect. please respond asap as i need a delay pedal very soon lol thanks
Wow its amazing how much you get for the money. I'm considering buying one of these. How complicated it is to use? I don't like spending to much time fidling with pedals.
I have a behringer em600 stereo echo pedal and cannot figure out where to put it in my chain, using the rockman xpr setup that has a effects loop and the rockman sustainor setup.help would be appreciated.thx
yes, orthodoxy is last in pedal chain - but penultimate to reverb if you have a reverb pedal. if your amp has an effects loop, yes, put it in there, especially if you use any gain on the amp.
Nice review! I own this pedal, I can highly recommend it, great value for little money. Lots of options, good sound imo. @drivenedge : it has sweep echo.
could i use this as a vocal delay pedal.. that would be sweet .. especially for the price.. i could boost our sound with these fx on the vocals..as any1 tried??.. let me know peeps cus if ya can im off to get one asap.. cheers
@tamatownskater Was this comment directed at me? If so, you must have misunderstood the question. I wasn't asking about how to turn the effect on and off. I was asking whether it is possible to enter tap-tempo mode while the effect is off.
It's a little tricky to hear the finer details of the pedal over the room reflections from your mic, I think you'd be better off running a DI and overdubbing. Also, this video has a VERY high noise floor for some reason. cheers though!
I just got this and its driving me nuts, cant seem to find a clear demo with explanations!think ill just stick my vd400 back on my board,at least I can work that. This pedal seems to try to fit too many options in,so I cant get a straightforward slapback going.Tis a shame as I love their products and have many, but this one has me stumped
Used this pedal with my flanger last night. I think I'm gonna call out and mess with my pedals some more. Be careful with these pedals, though. They're kind of fragile But for the small amount of ducketts I paid, the EM600 is kinda juicey.
A good guitar player making demos of crappy pedals, makes the price of pedals go up. Last year this pedal was selling for under $20.00, today they sell for over $60.00 on Ebay.
excellent review. mine arrived today.i've had all the tape stuff and watkins since the sixties.i am more than pleased with this little belter.value for money even here in rip off england is fantastic.

Thank you for this review. I ordered one and love it!

So many guitarists stupidly forget that all important bag of salt.
Thx for the Demo it really helps.. i just bought this pedal... Love it..
Nice video and good explanations of all the modes. Very helpful :-)
Is it possible to lean the pedal on something other than a bag of salt?
I have a bag of sugar, but am worried that this may be too sweet.
this pedal is KILLER i just got one used and I love it!

@shur1213 - why not? it's just a delay at the end of the day which happens to be in a pedal
Very useful, thank you
Bought one yesterday... i owned a real Roland tape echo in the past, and this pedal gets a nice tape echo emulation... I'm going to use it in my Marshall's FX send/return along with a Boss Tremolo and, in the future, a Behringer Rotary Machine
thanks great demo :)
Excellent Review, sounds like a killer pedal for the price!
sounds great, im gonna get one
does this convert mono into stereo echo?
YES I USE IT WITH MARSHALL RIG OVERDRIVEN AND THEN A BOSS TURBO DISTORTION for more distortion - THE ECHO MACHINE HAS DUCKING MODE which is good cos no echos clutters the notes when you play, only the repeats follow AFTER you play - look up what audio-ducking means if you arent sure. Thanks for the great demo! Question: When the 'Mix' level is at maximum, is only the effected sound output? I'm asking because I would be using this in an effects loop rather than as an insert.
I use it like that and it works perfectly
One brilliant thing I like to do with this is to have it set on reverse mode, mixed to completely cut the dry signal and with the delay time really low. Then I crank up the feedback and all my notes sound backwards and dreamy. Really psychadelic sounds, especially if you use tape mode with a slight ammount of modulation, enough for subtly. thanx for the positive comment.

@dancetech do you have to push the pedal or does it do it automatically?
Hey am not getting this beautiful stereo effect you are talking about but only on left side :( Any suggestion(s) please?
BTW very nice demo
A well explained video, and I have one of these, gonna sell it as by the time I’ve set it up, the gig would be over! 😂
can you completely blend the reverse effect with this pedal? Also, is this a good pedal to play Shoegaze with?
Hi there! Have a question to you. When you turn on Trails, and crank Mix knob to maximum, is your effect able to bypass deactivated pedal, and play clean guitar sound??
Hi, can this machine be used for vocals, like voice only?
Can it be set to give the dry signal from one amp and strictly one repeat from an other amp (not the repeat mixed with the dry)?
Thanks :)
Hi. Would you prefer this pedal over the Vintage Time Machine? Could the EM600 deliver the same kind of sounds? I like the construction and deeper tone of the VM1, but the versatility of this other pedal. Thanks.
Is it worth getting this if i'm not going to use the stereo outputs? I only have 1 amp like most people.
this pedal costs nearly in 4 times less than line-6-echo-park, but i don't think that echo-park is in 4 times better than this one.
so i'm gonna buy it.
nice demo. thanks.

Great demo. What's the polarity?Like to know if I can power it along with the rest of my board.
standard polarity like Boss pedals

can u put a external tap tempo
Can this pedal mimic U2 sound? The Edge style delay?
yes, digital delay and such do suck a lot of battery life. I think a daisy chain and a proper power supply is a must.
what kind of power supply do u use?
can you tap the tempo of the delay with this pedal? :)
doese it have a loop function
Wow its amazing how much you get for the money. I'm considering buying one of these. How complicated it is to use? I don't like spending to much time fidling with pedals.
yes dude
good video
can the reverse get 100% wet?
can this pedal use a tap tempo pedal?
thnx

Hi! Thanks for your demo. Question: How has this pedal held up over time? I'm thinking of getting one. Thanks!
Donald Natale I did maybe 5 or 6 gigs with it but now I don't really use it anymore, sorry.
dancetech That's cool, thanks for replying, and again thanks for the demo!
can this pedal use external tap tempo ?
No
Nice review! I own this pedal, I can highly recommend it, great value for little money. Lots of options, good sound imo. @drivenedge : it has sweep echo.

Working with it now,and the fog is starting to clear,Im 53 today, that must be when stupid kicks in.;)
hi there does this pedal have a tap tempo?? can i put a external tap
yeh it does
@tamatownskater Was this comment directed at me? If so, you must have misunderstood the question. I wasn't asking about how to turn the effect on and off. I was asking whether it is possible to enter tap-tempo mode while the effect is off.
yes - it gives plenty of echo tonal variety - he uses an old sdd unit doesnt he?

John Iain McFarlane what? this isnt a clear enough demo of the features with explanation?
Soz,your post has helped me to find my way round this pedal, its very versatile and sounds gr8,respect
Is echo ka price kitna h?
@dancetech
Has anyone tried?
Probably the best echo pedal you can get for 50 bucks.
watch the video!
Used this pedal with my flanger last night. I think I'm gonna call out and mess with my pedals some more. Be careful with these pedals, though. They're kind of fragile But for the small amount of ducketts I paid, the EM600 is kinda juicey.
Im gonna buy this for good!
should I Get this
It's the best cheap delay pedal I've tried, love it. DD400 or 600 are good but this does more
i have 2 machines and they work top ,but with batteries after1 hour its finished
Tonesuckin'???
2m5s
And when the gig is finished you can head to the allotment with a torch and kill all the slugs that are eating your seedings.
dude, watch the video at 1:58
Anyone find a package deal that comes with the bag of salt?
"I'm going to lean it on a bag of SALT"
Not that he does it right at the beginning, but...
A good guitar player making demos of crappy pedals, makes the price of pedals go up. Last year this pedal was selling for under $20.00, today they sell for over $60.00 on Ebay.
+Vladimir Medvedev not sure it was ever as cheap as 20 bucks.. secondhand maybe, but not new surely.
dancetech I should have mentioned that. Used were around $20.00
+Vladimir Medvedev great delay though ;)
not bad for a cheap plastic box!!!!
actually, you should probably just use scissors to kill them - all that salt would play havoc with your soil.
I'm going to lean it on a bag of SALT
lol a packet of salt comes in handy
excellent review. mine arrived today.i've had all the tape stuff and watkins since the sixties.i am more than pleased with this little belter.value for money even here in rip off england is fantastic.
