Very informative, thank you. I picked up one of these from a charity shop this afternoon. It was pretty much as new, only the previous owner had mistakenly substituted the manual with that of a boss chromatic tuner.
Just incase anyone is wondering: I've had this pedal for 10 months now and it still works. I gig with it a few times a month, and it's never failed me live. It shares a home with a big muff, holy grail, holy stain (crazy reverb and trem), memory toy, cry baby, and fab flange. It is run through an Egnater Tweaker through a Vox cab. My only complaint is it's a little hissy, which makes it annoying to record with... but it does a great job live. For $60CDN it's a great buy.
What a great and simple explaining video, man. I really don´t know why people watch videos like this expecting that the guy start to play. It´s a class video, isn´t it? In fact, this video was greatly helpfull for me. Thanks, again!
great vid mate. does this pedal have tap tempo like the dd400. ie you hold the pedal down for 3 secs... then tap the temp... with no need for the pedal? thanks dude :)
What specific power cable has to be used, i cant be botherd with using batteries, and he forgot to mention without a tempo input the tempo modes double as a basic loop, the only bad thing of this loop is that you cant play over it without that being repeated too btw i play bass
@SocialistFish How do you find the Memory Toy? I'm looking at getting myself a delay pedal, and I like the sound of analogue more than digital. I'm looking in the ~$100 range, since I'm on a bit of a budget. So I'm thinking of the EHX Memory Toy, the Memory Boy, the Behringer Vintage Time Machine, or possibly one of the Behringer Digital Delays, if they're better for the money.
Excuse me Sr, but the Pan Out must be connected at the other channel of the stereo speaker; cause the DD600 is Stereo and at this configuration is wasting one channel of sound.....Try it ...that sounds incredible...
@Gyrofist1 Look on musicians friend. I'm strongly going to recommend a pedal off ebay though. It's called a Biyang analogue delay. Comes in a pink housing. The sell for like $50 american and are just fantastic. Feel free to drop me a line if you want to see a demo of it or something.
That's a bit of a myth, cos generally fx added to bass need to avoid the bottom end frequencies or all you get is mess. Even a classic bass effect like an enveloper works on higher frequencies.
Nice review and some good explanations of delay in general. Thanks!

Great detail in your review!

Thanks for the info. It helps greatly to understand it. I was wondering how to match it with someone saying they had theirs set to 1/8 notes.
Excellet review!,... Thanks!
great demo
very helpful video!! thanx!!!
This was actually pretty usefull!

the footswitch you use what brand is it? ... I can use a pedal keyboard, which serves sustain?? ...
Auite a versatile little bugger....worth the money IMO
Hi, many says this things sucks volume- is it easy to change into true bypass switch instead? Thanks
you made my day lol..
Hi I've got 3 of these behringer pedals but I can't get them to work using the 9v adaptor. Do they need a battery as well?

the Dr100 has a issue of to much reverb washout even when the LEVEL is at its lowest setting, did they fix this with the 600?
how may I connect stereo chorus effect to this pedal, there is only one input!!
Looking at this video i see my pedal has a failure, i need to put the level pot to max or the effect will not sound...
Thanks
how does this compare to the echo machine?
what's the build quality like?
sorry meant when the Time setting as well was on its lowest setting
does this have trailing repeats?
do you loose volume when you put it in the loop?? cause it happens to me :/
Yeap it fades away little by little

yes I realise that, but i didn't bother wiring it up in stereo because the stereo pan would not be picked up by the camera mic anyway.

Nikito I guess you're asking, does this pedal have true by-pass. That's what I'd like to know too!?
Ian it does not
does it suck tone while is turned off? sorry for bad english
nikitofin yes
Well that's reassuring, glad I got the Echo Machine instead.
I love that one!
So I take it it doesn't do those awesome spaceship sounds? XD
6:43 reverse mode
hello can i use it for bass
Yes you can
I am talking about frequencies lol , guitar units weren't designed to handle the frequencies of a bass and many do a very poor job of handling them.
That's a bit of a myth, cos generally fx added to bass need to avoid the bottom end frequencies or all you get is mess. Even a classic bass effect like an enveloper works on higher frequencies.
Hold @ 7:24
If you want a cheap tap tempo pedal search "tattoo foot switch pedal" on eBay.
if im not mistaken this pedal have built in tap tempo already, u need to hold it for 3 second and then tap your tempo to use it
I own this pedal and i cant make it sound like i want.
:c
Ethereum 🎸

7:24 s'cuse me what?
