Disregard my question asking whether or not the DR 400 can be used for vocals. I bought one, and it is simply the most amazing delay/echo/reverb pedal for vocals! Better than the echo plex! And I don't understand why people are complaining about the construction of the pedal. It is definitely not something that will break unless someone likes to stomp on and/or abuse their equipment. You simply cannot beat this effects device for the price.
Still got my original DR400 and looking for a second one.......just classic.and a great upload when you listen with cans on even better, many thanks, H6UK.
In comparison with other youtube vids from people trying to demonstrate equipment, your's was the best....you concentrated on showing what the effect could do...not trying, as other do, to try and impress with their playing. Great job. You should demonstrate all the other Behringer foot pedals.
Have played with many pedals. This is great pedal! Quality of the cases is not well but is it not tragedy, if you not kick it hard the case will be fine, knobs are not bad working. GUYS TONE OF REVERB and sound quality is FCKING GREAT :) For my ambient improvs it is my most precious pedal belive it or not! Also worth to see is echo machine.
@GetWithTheFro I think most pedals / effects that aren't designed for a specific frequency (effects like reverb, delay etc) will work for bass. I have a Behringer DD400 delay and it works great with my bass, and I'm pretty sure reverb will be the same!
Question for dancetech: as you say, the pedal does sound better in stereo. If I'm working with a one channel amp, would I be able to use both of the pedal's outputs and then run through a stereo-to-mono converter to get the stereo sound? Thanks!
@jacobpaul13 there's a little pushpin on either side of the actual pedal plate, you push them in and the plate comes off and the battery goes in under that (Y)
Gracias y abrazo!
@AlexxM96 when you are turning it off,you have also put out the cables, see this is running your battery low even if you have turn it off. Try unplug the cables also when you are not using it.Try also to change your battery, this might be a battery issue but im not sure,if this issue continue to exist i think you have to return it back from where you have get it.
This pedal is always on? I mean there is not any chance to put it in bypass mode right? As per its manual and if i understood it well the switch only works for delay tempo selection :( Also i wanted to ask you, how is the delay mode on this one compared with the DD600?
i dont understand somethng.. For the pedal can "Make" the 2 effects u have two use the two outputs? And u can have a delay/reverb tone at the same time??? Thanks
@jacobpaul13 you can see the are 2 black things like screws near jacks, you have to push them and the pedal can open, also there is a video in youtube if you cant understand what im saying. Google it ffs,its so easy...
is it possible to use the delay in infinite mode? and how does it works the feedback control for the delay? is it possible to use it for some noisy effects? thanx
I spent a fortune on loads of good pedals, now all I want is a reverb, so I'm just going to buy this instead, I've had enough of spending £100 on a pedal, this one will do for now, it doesn't sound bad
I have a question for dancetech or anybody else on this page. Would any of these foot pedals or a different reverb foot pedal work with a samson SQ7 Microphone? If so do you think you could tell me what input or output cables I would need to do so. Please and thank you :)
I HAVE A PROBLEM..help please...when i connect the pedal with my amp and my guitar it doesnt turn on. I did everything in the richt way and my cables function. the pedal is new and i never used it before. i don't know what is wrong
Hi, I am in quite a doubt on buying this pedal, or a much more cheaper dd40. My guitar style is kind of a pink floydish/Gilmourish kind of sound. Can someone please reply? Thanks.
I have this pedal. But when I'm playing with it, it will randomly cut out and then come back again every few minutes after I have been playing with it for about half an hour. Is this the battery? Or is there something wrong with it? I don't have a power pack for it so I was thinking that, that might be the problem, because the battery keeps running out.
you put it under the behringer logo.wherw it says behringer digital reverb/delay. in both sides are black dots push the dots and the logo will go off. then put the batteries
ok, here's my only issue with purchasing this pedal, the noise. i read about people getting it. my guess is that it's caused actually by the adaptor that they are using and not the pedal. what can you tell me concerning the noise. god bless
I get the noise with the Behringer pedals also. But I added the Behringer Noise Reducer NR300 and it seems to have fixed the problem. Not 100%, but about 80% of the noise has gone,
No, Stereo NEEDS 2 amps-speakers for the L-R spread, doing what you suggest would just drop the signal back to Mono, and might even sound worse because of cancellation & phase issues.....
I bought one to give the brand a try and mine didn't work correctly either. It was all glitched out and I had to return it. I gave Behringer one more try and tried their flanger and even when it's turned off the bypassed signal has a slight flange on it. There's no cheap way to get effects pedals I guess. I'll never buy any of their products again.

Great demo! Thanks for taking the time to explain this pedal. For the price it really is great! Same with the vd-400 vintage delay!
Great demo's, my friend. Keep up the good work.
Plan on one of these for my bass rig, great review!
Still got my original DR400 and looking for a second one.......just classic.and a great upload when you listen with cans on even better, many thanks, H6UK.

Great review there! Thanks for posting.
thanks for this video, now ive seen this, this is the one im going for, cheers
i use a behringer pedal, and i'm satisfied with it... now i need this :D
Very informative, thanks. I'm ging to try one.
hey man, great vid. Do the effects tail remain after switching to "bypass"?
Nice explanation, the reason you are heading for 100k views.
excellent review - thanks
OK, I think this might be before my subscription. Also, I do remember the Cubase MIDI serie.
great review. thx.

I like this pedal better than my Boss DD-3 for delay effects and it costs less than half the price..plus it has very nice reverb settings.
Nice review, thanks.
I love this pedal! Very useful and yet cheap. But why that blue supertrooper instead of a normal led? I hardly can see the knobs when the pedal is on!

Excelllent review.
Similar to Digitech's Distortion series... use a pen (instead of a cable) and push in the black side buttons on the latch, which comes off.
of course u can bypass it - for the dd600 check the review we added

You can use the mixer on the pedal if the mixer has a p10 (standart guitar) output, you can use anything that use the p10 output

Gracias por El comentario en español
I own a few of these pedals. Sure, they are cheap. But they sound fantastic. My understanding is they do a really good job at simulating BOSS pedals.

you can open and remove the "pedal cap" the part, you can press down to activate.
down below, there is the battery
Bass / Guitars / Vocals... you can use it for sure!
You push in the two black buttons on either side of the pedal, and the faceplate should pop of, revealing the space for a battery.
sounds good
Hola! Vos decís que vale la pena? Porque estoy buscando un delay y ví este que también viene con reverb. Algún punto en contra a tener en cuenta?
This pedal is always on? I mean there is not any chance to put it in bypass mode right? As per its manual and if i understood it well the switch only works for delay tempo selection :(
Also i wanted to ask you, how is the delay mode on this one compared with the DD600?
Hi mate,
can I ask you a question?
With this pedal how do you have a shoegaze effect?
Thanks :)
Can you use this for a microphone too? For some vocal reverb?
I prefer the mono setting. It's got more of a crunchy bite.
i dont understand somethng.. For the pedal can "Make" the 2 effects u have two use the two outputs? And u can have a delay/reverb tone at the same time??? Thanks

Google it ffs,its so easy...
@CasoPerdio Hi Man,can I ask you how do you set the pedal for shoegaze?
Sorry for my english!
What's the difference between this delay and the dd600 delay?
is it possible to use the delay in infinite mode? and how does it works the feedback control for the delay? is it possible to use it for some noisy effects? thanx
Most of my pedals are Boss so the ac addapter, can I use that addaptar with the DR400 Digital Reverb Delay??
Does the echo/delay work just as well with a microphone?
Ok you say overall it's a good pedal... but would you reccomend it? please answer!! thanks
hey dancetech did you use vamp AS the amp
i got this pedal..best fucking 30$ thing i ever bought...if u set right u can do the Welcome to the Jungle intro ..and it sounds just like it!
so would you have to get an amp with stereo inputs to get the full effect??????????
I spent a fortune on loads of good pedals, now all I want is a reverb, so I'm just going to buy this instead, I've had enough of spending £100 on a pedal, this one will do for now, it doesn't sound bad
@Ecuolizer Easy with your "rules", this is art pal. He can do what ever he likes.
@jacobpaul13 :))... nice question dude :))... it's under where you step on.
do you recon that would have a dream pop/shoegaze sound?
I have a question for dancetech or anybody else on this page. Would any of these foot pedals or a different reverb foot pedal work with a samson SQ7 Microphone? If so do you think you could tell me what input or output cables I would need to do so. Please and thank you :)
Can this be used with acoustic-electric guitar? Will it have a same grear effect or its good only with electric giitar?
I'm sure it would sound fine.
Reverb/delay are pretty universal effects, can be used for anything, as long as you can plug it in
So, the reverb cannot be heard if not played in stereo? I have only one amp, and can only use mono..
I HAVE A PROBLEM..help please...when i connect the pedal with my amp and my guitar it doesnt turn on. I did everything in the richt way and my cables function.
the pedal is new and i never used it before. i don't know what is wrong
can you get feedback with this pedal? like with the memory man etc...
Hi, I am in quite a doubt on buying this pedal, or a much more cheaper dd40. My guitar style is kind of a pink floydish/Gilmourish kind of sound. Can someone please reply? Thanks.

No, you don't have to "stomp on it" to get it to work. A simple press with the toe, gently. works just fine.
@Ecuolizer 'Never put reverb before any kind of distortion/overdrive/fuzz!'
Tell THAT to Kevin Shields...
see the first video in the series which explains general stuff which is the same for all the pedals in the series
Does this Pedal have any less functions than the DD400?
Can somebody explain me why are two cables conected in he output?
hi could you use this pedal for vocals
behringer dr 400 or rv 600?
behringer la lleva wn! saludos de chile (up the shoegaze!)
you put it under the behringer logo.wherw it says behringer digital reverb/delay. in both sides are black dots push the dots and the logo will go off. then put the batteries
sirve para bajo electrico?
look son, i've had two behringer pedals for over 3 years now. they only break if you stomp on them quite hard.
How the hell do you put in the 9v battery?
ok, here's my only issue with purchasing this pedal, the noise.
i read about people getting it.
my guess is that it's caused actually by the adaptor that they are using and not the pedal. what can you tell me concerning the noise.
god bless
I get the noise with the Behringer pedals also. But I added the Behringer Noise Reducer NR300 and it seems to have fixed the problem. Not 100%, but about 80% of the noise has gone,
The noise is produced because the pedal has a high gain circuitry, this is needed for guitar level input
i bought one and it has no noise issue.. maybe some noise issue is duee to the PSU.. great product
Brother Timothy Clark
Would this work for bass?
No, Stereo NEEDS 2 amps-speakers for the L-R spread, doing what you suggest would just drop the signal back to Mono, and might even sound worse because of cancellation & phase issues.....
My pedal has a flashing red light on it idk what it means tho
If used for voice, this pedal can generate noise?
yes
love the props..where's the salt????
does this pedal go 100% wet?
I bought one to give the brand a try and mine didn't work correctly either. It was all glitched out and I had to return it. Whats a stereo rig
@breakingthe4thwall The same, but lower.
2 outs? so I need a special cable to play with the reverb and delay? =/
No you really should a second amp. its why you have stereo. but if you want you can get a Y cable
It won't really sound good for anything above or below the frequency range of a guitar, but in theory yes.
How much it will cost in Indian Money ? where form I buy it ?
Mahua Das buy from eBay. Lots on eBay new and used!
not much about 25 dollars! it got a cheap contruction, material wise but the sound is a killer!
I can a microphone in the in ?
If you're looking for a Pink Floyd kinda sound. This is your pedal.
ik this is 5 years old but can ya help me getting a pf tone with this in brief?
yes, "can ya help me" was a pun that was intended.
wena compare yo tambien tengo el mismo pedal jajajaj es un 7
it would have been nice to play different things throughout the video but....ok...thx
