      Spinosaurus the king stfu. The I.rex was way more intelligent than the spino. It had longer claws, stronger arms, a stronger bite, and could use thermal sight, and could camouflage. It could walk on all fours and on 2 legs. It even had piles of metal stabbed into it, got hit by an rpg, and got stormed by bullets and it still didn’t die XD

      @Samson 92 that's just wrong. There is proof that spinosaurus was able to hunt other species than submarine ones. Also it went extinct because of a change in climate which led to the destruction of it's ecosystem. A drastic change like that would kill off most species on this earth. Also a T-Rex would probably not even think about attacking a Spinosaurus because it was higher in size and it wouldn't make any sence, because the Spino isn't a threat for the T-Rex in any way. Would the T-Rex win in a fight? Yeah, probably. I'd estimate the chances on a win for the T-Rex at 65% and 35% for the Spino to win (at least in an open field or forest, the habitat of the T-Rex. Under water the Spino would dominate the fight, but again, they wouldn't fight, because there's no reason to)

    • @inferno7076
      @inferno7076 2 года назад +1

      @Samson 92 but a Spino isn't interested in an infant of a T-Rex. As a meal it's too small and it's protected by at least 2 full grown T-Rexes. There is the theory that T-Rex lived in groups, what would mean even more T-Rexes. A Spino wouldn't even go near that infant. Of course if it would, it would get attacked, but again that would be suicidal and no dino with a brain in it's head would do that

    • @inferno7076
      @inferno7076 2 года назад +3

      @Samson 92 I don't think it would attack a group of T-Rexes. Perhaps a single one and then it's again the question where they're fighting. You said it would attack the T-Rex so I think you mean a fight in a forest/open area. Yeah, then the T-Rex clearly has higher chances on winning, that's kinda obvious. But if the desperate and hungry Spino swims in it's river/lake and sees a T-Rex crossing it, it can just drown the Rex to its death. Yes, T-Rex was able to swim, but it wasn't very good at it, while the Spino was literally born for it. In a fighting scenario between those 2 it's basically decided on who has the home field advantage and a bit of luck

    I don't like the fact people hate the spinosaurus for besting the t rex here. If you watch the movie, they say that this spino was an ingen experiment which they abandoned. It was an enhanced version of the original spino. The original spino is actually a water hunter like today's crocs. But this one is genetically enhanced. So yes, by that theory it should be able to match up and defeat a rex. The rex has a strong bite force. But those hands of the spino, massive and powerful. This spino is a genetic monstrosity which definitely can take the win.

  • @AfterAttackTV

    • @Gist432
      @Gist432 9 лет назад +8

      It's more complicated than that. It's not just the fact that the t-rex is stronger and more hardy than the spino, which makes this scene ridiculous. The t-rex is the very maskot of the JP franchise (hence the logo). First Movie is a masterpiece, a work of art. Then comes the second, not so much, but still a decent Movie. The third one though, they dropped the ball on that one. See how the logo has changed in nr. 3? I believe people connect the spino itself with the ruining of a amazing concept/franchise/movie series... what have you. Im hoping that the jinx is gone now hat the good old logo is back.... :) JP3, along with that spino, is forgotten.

    • @Gist432
      @Gist432 9 лет назад

      Jaquise Reed I have a feeling they wont (it won't be as good as the first film yeah, no doubt about that). See how the old logo is back? It's the t-rex, not a new dino like in JP3. Probably pointless to put so much emphasis on a small thing like the logo, but im thinking there is a reason why they have changed it back (and not into a logo showing off the indominus). The logo has always portrayed the star of the movie, in JW you might think its the indominus, but im not so sure :)

    I'm pretty certain the spinosaurus was designed to be much more powerful and aggressive than the T-rex, similar to how the I-rex was. The fact that the bite from the T-rex didn't snap the Spinos neck already screams tougher neck bones. The Jp3 spino was confirmed to be bigger than a t-rex, so it's possible both the animals were juvenile, given the Spinos mindless and aggressive nature. That's just my thoughts on why this fight was the way it was.

    Almost no one in the comments knows the first thing about dinosaurs. Here's my view: if that first bite from the tyrannosaurus had not happened, the battle would have turned out exactly like it did in the movie. However, the tyrannosaurus' bite force is way more than enough to snap the spinosaurus's skull. The tyrannosaurus would have won in a realistic scenario, but they didn't have the information needed to construct a realistic spinosaurus when they made this film. Spinosauruses spent their time mostly in water, and when they were out of the water they were pretty close to it. They walked on all fours and rarely interacted with big predators of other species. Plus they were super skinny and didn't have bulging muscles. In a real fight, the tyrannosaurus would win. A fight between a tyrannosaurus and this movie's version of a spinosaurus is a completely different thing.
    (And by the way, I was actually rooting for the spinosaurus when I first saw the fight, so I'm glad he/she won. My comment is not about me being butthurt because the t-rex didn't win.)

    Am I the only one here remotely bothered by the fact that everyone who comments on this video somehow thinks they can automatically dictate the entire outcome? There are people saying that the Spinosaurus would win, as depicted here, and T-Rex could also have won.
    Fact is that you cannot know 100% as to who would win. The T-Rex was most likely a scavenger, if not possibly simply being a dinosaur that hunted down other dinosaurs as well as scavenging for food. Its said to run up to 20 MPH. Its smaller arms were said to have possibly propelled it back up on its huge legs only when necessary, but were practically useless in combat. Its huge tail, powerful legs, powerful skull, and its teeth as well as jaw force quickly gives it a huge advantage. The only disadvantages I see are that the T-Rex may have had to run slower to keep its balance and its arms, but I don't see much else.
    Then there's the Spinosaurus. This creature is bigger, but there's very little evidence to suggest that it was any faster or slower. We have no clue as to the usage of the big spine, although many plausible theories are presented for it, and it could have very well held the creature down. It seemed to have more useful arms and was most likely a fish hunter and nothing more. People argue that it has a crocodile-like snout, but its teeth are much different than that of crocodiles. Truth is, we know very little about Spinosaurus and what its real advantages could have been. It seems to have plenty of disadvantages, some to name being a weaker jaw biting force, a weaker neck, and possibly the fact that it was most likely not a fighter but rather, a fish-eating dinosaur.
    Regardless, we can't know 100%, and I'm getting tired of reading comments saying as to who should win and why, as though they can know the outcome. Everyone thinks he or she is some mini-scientist, able to dictate the outcome, but fact is that nobody can really do that. I'd love to see a fight between a fully grown T-Rex and fully grown Spinosaurus, its a shame we can't. However, this fight seems really unrealistic, and if the T-Rex had got the Spinosaurus in the neck like in the scene above, the Spino would definitely have been killed. The T-Rex's jaw force was estimated to have been equal to the weight of two fully-grown elephants per square inch. That's a very powerful bite! Furthermore, I believe the T-Rex would also win because many scientists speculate that its skull was used somewhat like a hammer and one of its main weapons. Regardless of this, however, I am not saying I 100% know, and I'm tired of people claiming to automatically know the outcome. If the fight, however, had begun to play out like in the video, the moment T-Rex grabbed the Spino's neck, I'm sure that the Spino would be down and out for the count.

      ***** Thats a total opinion if you can't back it with hardcore fact. For example, we hardly know anything about Spinosaurus, most of the info we have are from fragments. We created the image based upon another dinosaur similar to its fractured structure, only bigger. Fact is that the Spinosaurus could have had various helpful appendages also, namely, actually useful arms, sharp claws that we have actually discovered, etc. Regardless, and although I love T-Rex, I don't make conclusions when they aren't backed by actual fact.

      Ricardo Falcon 1) Wouldn't that simply help in scientists saying that the T-Rex was more of a scavenger due to its inefficiency in catching a full meal? Not saying that this is total evidence for my point (we will never know an extinct creature's true nature), but its sorta contradictory to the point you're trying to make.
      2) Please provide sources for your claim. I'm not saying its wrong, I believe personally that T-Rex could have hunted and scavenged like most predatory animals, but I'd like an article or something to read about that finding.

    I see it as an unfair fight. The T-Rex is male and younger than the Spino, so it is a young mature or older teen T-Rex and it still had more blows on that Spinosaur than what that damn thing did. What a cheap move, grab the head with its claws and long snout and just twist the neck to break it. Put the prime and fully grown female Rex in there from the first movie. Let us see this fight again. lol

      It literally wouldn't matter if it was an adult Rex or not. The director wanted Spinosaurus to win, so regardless of what condition the Rex was in, it would've lost. To be honest, I'm glad the fight happened the way it did. T-Rex is overused in my opinion, and I'm glad to see another dinosaur take the spotlight. Not saying the Spino would win in real life, but I enjoyed the fictional battle.

    The thing is, neither of these creatures were constructed correctly in this film as it was not known at the time what the two were properly like.
    First, this is a 'teen' Rex, only around 80% full size, I'd say around 10-11 metres long. It was incorrectly portrayed as a scavenger feeding off of that carcass and not hunting for its food. In reality was was primarily a hunter but would not pass up an easy meal like carrion or a dying wounded animal.
    The Spinosaurus in the movie was again, a 'teen' Spino only around 13 metres long, growing up to what is now calculated as around 17-19 metres at full size. With the recently found Skeleton in what I believe was Morocco, it is known to be quite a skinny, not so strong or muscly creature with very long powerful arms and relatively short, stumpy legs by contrast. But its bones were incredibly dense and the thing would have weighed from 10-20 tonnes. Its sail is far too short along the body and the skull is far too Baryonyx-esqe (quite bulky and not much curve while retaining the long snout and many hundreds of long conical teeth).
    Now, with the two modern reconstructions, I'll tell you who will win with my new version
    The Rex chases the group through the forest, hungry for more victims. They come across the massive Spino, his large hands resting on the ground on their sides the support the quite short legs. He is much larger than the Rex, his 2 metre snout lined with huge teeth stained in the blood of many long gone fish staring right at the Rex's own jaws, wide, with banana sized fangs that could crush a bull in one bite
    The Rex hesitates for a moment, allowing the group to escape. In an instant, the Rex lunges at the Spino, but his sailed foe slashes out with his long, powerful arms brandished with two small claws and one large one the size of a book. The claws rip into the Rex's face, opening a large gash pouring with rich red blood.
    But the Rex was angry now. Spino reared up on his own two main legs, the same height but with far more length. The Rex let out a mighty roar and grappled onto the Spino's thin neck. The crunch filled the empty forest.
    The Spino shook away but stopped himself in his tracks, his very thick neck bone had been badly fractured. Rex sees his opportunity and headbutts the Spino's sides and is toppled over onto his frail fin. The impact nearly breaks the sail in two and it twists and breaks his back, killing him instantly...
    The Rex would always have won, it has every advantage it needs.
    There

      How do you know this T-Rex was scavenging? All it shows is the T-Rex eating it. There's no evidence in the scene to show whether it was eating something that was already dead or if it was eating something it had just killed. You also kind of contradict yourself where you say it was incorrectly portrayed as a scavenger, but in the very next line say that it wouldn't pass up an already dead carcass. That's called scavenging.

      Even better, not only is it the same T-Rex from the first movie, but it also slammed into the same Spinosaurus skeleton at the beginning as if it was nothing. What an awesome intro to a battle with the actual original, first, strongest, one and only T-Rex. She also acted as if she was the hero of the park too. Not saying that she actually is, but still, she was all like "Aw hell no! Ain't nobody going to be the leader, but ME! I'm not putting up to this fake Dino, nuh uh!"

    It's confirmed that the Spinosaurus is a hybrid dinosaur like the Indominus Rex due to the fully discovery of the Spinosaurus.
    The spieces is still bigger than the T-Rex but Paleontologists found out that the Spinosaurus was not much of a hunter the animals spend their time in lakes and rivers feeding on fish & other water animals.
    So because of that the people at Jurassic Park made Spinosaurus a hybrid dinosaur.
    The Spinosaurus was basically like the Frankenstein's Monster.
    And like the Frankenstein Monster who was stronger than the average human
    The Spinosaurus was stronger than the average meat eating dinosaur.
    The T-Rex was up against a Unnatural Killing Machine.

      3. Apatosaurus* And even a fucking Carnotaurus sastrei could kill those Apatosaurus, because the movie is fucking crap and by the plot they didn't defend themselves, even tho in real life they would kill Indominus in one movement.

If you want to be that precise then why aren't you mad that the Velociraptor is 6 feet tall instead of 3 also Velociraptors weren't smart and weren't pack hunters and had feathers the dilophosaurus did not spit venom and it did not have a frill the T-Rex and Spinosaurus lived in different time periods on different places on the earth so nothing about these movies is real they decided to kill the T-Rex which is why the T-Rex died there is no reason it wasn't because it was small it wasn't because it was sick it wasn't because it was a bad fighter it was because that's how the script was written if it was a bigger T-Rex it still would have died because that's how they wrote it it doesn't matter what would have happened in real life all that matters is what happened in the movie

    I think the T-rex would have won bc it appears to have stronger, more stout jaws which would allow for a more powerful bite. The Spino has a longer more narrow jaw designed for more fragile (i think) aquatic prey as opposed to the tougher terrestrial prey of the T-rex. Again, this is only speculation on my part. But compare it to a pit bull vs a larger dog like a retriever or a st. bernard. Sure, those are the larger dogs but they aren't as equipped to fight as the pit bull.

    Just to make it clear, the t-rex should indeed win in this movie becaus he had the spinosaurus neck in his mouthand he has an incredable jaw power what should have killen the spinosaurus, but let say that this didn't happen and look at the statics of them both. The t-rex was an scavenger so he had almost no hunting skills, also he cant run becaus of his weight and ofcourse he is smaller then the spinosaurus. The spinosaurus ate almost only fish and lived around water, he WALKED on his 4 legs due its weight but he could stand on 2 legs. His jaw power is lower then the t-rex and his fin on the back is crucial if hurt but he had long and strong arms. So if we look at all of this the spinosaurus had a decent change if he and the t-rex would meet, if the t-rex can het close enough to bite the spinosaurus its game over for the spinosaurus but if that doesn't happen then the spinosaurus wins.

      However yes, the Spino prefers to eat fish. They also fought against Africas other big predator the Carcharodontosaurus. They made a discovery that both Dino's fought each other. When they found tooth marks on each other. So, I would give the Spino a little advantage because, they know how to fight if they are killing Carcharodontosaurus. Which by the way are much bigger than a T-Rex

      That would be a strong hybrid, but both are too different dinosaurs, only some really similar species can have hybrids, like horses with donkeys, lions with tigers, etc... but even those are really difficult. And a T.rex and a Spinosaur are really too different, Tiranosaur belongs to the Classic carnivores group, with Majungasaurus, carnotaurus, Allosaurus, Albertosaurus, etc. While the Spinosaur belongs to the Baryonyx group, with Baryonyx(s), Irritators, Suchomimus, etc. BUT! it could be GENETICALLY possible with human help.

    I'm going to be honest. When I was a kid, I was a Land Before Time fan before I became a Jurassic park/world fan. When I first saw this movie I didn't care for Spinosaur or the T Rex, I just wanted to be rid of them both so the main characters could be safe just like I wanted Littlefoot and the gang to be rid of Sharptooth and ever since I watched the fight between Sharptooth and Littlefoot's mother I always rooted against the predators in a herbivore vs carnivore scene, the first scene being that scene from Fantasia when the T Rex fought the "Spiketail" forgot the name of the species. I would also have nightmares about either the Spinosaur or T Rex trying to eat me and I might have predicted Jurassic World because I had a nightmare about being chased by a white dinosaur with long arms. But when I watched The Land Before Time The great Valley Adventure, that's when my view of predators slowly began to change but it wasn't complete until I watched Jurassic World. That's when I started to really like dinosaurs that eat meat particularly the T Rex.
