Pedals are available to it atleast in China, so you can pedal with it if you want to or when the battery is dead. Which should come as standrad because of the small battery and the short range.
@@GreenMopeds That's a shame. Here in Sweden we can have it if we want to. But it is not more than a city commuter vehicle anyway so it doesn't matter that much.
You need to remember that it's less than 2hp so whatever you do it's not going to be huge and it will be at the expense of range. Secondly to reprogramme the controller, you need a box that only dealers have. It costs them about £250. Thirdly as these bikes are connected to Niu, they will know and will void your warranty

That's not an option in the UK because it's a registered vehicle and as such, cannot have pedals

Wouldn’t fancy pedalling 60kg of bike!
Great detailed review as always!
Thanks very much
Is it possible to modify the battery to fo faster? Or what can I do to go more faster ?
Even if you could de-restrict it, it doesn't have enough power
How much is a spare battery?
Panasonic Battery 48V42Ah - £1110
Would this be good for couriers?
Depends. How much range you need?
Does anybody know how to make the small NIU Pro U go faster? Like trimming or software?

Green-Mopeds Alright thanks for the reply!
Can we do double ride??
You can get a seat pad on the back but its not really a powerfull enough bike. The MQI+ Sport would be better
mine only runs at 32 km per hour, any clue to speed it up to 28 mph ?
Customers cannot de-restrict NIU bikes unfortunately.
How much is the price for the red bike and what is the name
