I saw her in this show at the Kennedy Center. She was INCREDIBLE and took my breath away. The audience went nuts. She almost got a standing ovation after her first number.
What a treat that would have been to be able to see her in this... It needs to move to Broadway!
I saw her in into the woods, she’s an incredible stage presence
She doesnt have to do a thing and your eyes are glued to her - agreed.
Stephanie is amazing at showing vulnerability in her characters, she she makes them real. Her voice and presence is always amazing.
Betty Buckley on B'way in 96...one of the top 5 best performances I've ever seen on B'way.
Would love you to review “Girl Named Tom”‘s performance of “Wichita Lineman” from The Voice.
I agree her voice is beautiful, and she makes it her own.
Hello Gail how are you doing?
this is a first-class song from Webber....telling the story of a lifetime in a few minutes..it must be sung with controlled theatricality....if you go overboard it becomes a caricature...to timid and you lose the character....
that said this is not my favorite version..........
She sings beautifully but sucks the life out of everything that I've seen her in. She stops the show. In a bad way. You want to see a spectacular Norma Desmond? Check out Helen Schneider in the German production.Or Elaine Paige. My opinion.
