I got to see Stephanie J Block in one of my theatre meets though zoom!! She was SO fun to talk to and gave amazing advice!!
She came to my high school and brought four other actors with her to talk to a bunch of our students when she was on the 1st National Tour of Wicked. One of the “other actors” was Sebastian Arcelus (before they were dating). She is as kind as she is talented.

I am so thankful to have seen Ms. Block several times. As Elphaba on B'way, Grace in Pirate Queen (not a great show but Woman is another powerhouse Anthem), Falsettos, and Edwin Drood all of which were mind blowing performances. I am so disappointed I didn't get to see her as Cher...... what a theatre ICON!

Oh one of my favorite performances!! I got to see her do this live and it gave me chills!!
My very first Broadway show i saw in NYC on a school trip was The Pirate Queen (very short lived...) and Stephanie J Block starred...and my obsession has not waned since in the intervening 13 years. And it breaks my mind that she is, in a way, the OG Elphaba, since she was in the workshops before they got Idina in.

Lucky to say that SJB at Cafe Carlyle was my last concert pre lockdown! She sang some wicked, the Cher show, falsettos and of course 9 to 5. What a night, highly recommend her special that’s up on broadwayhd

SJB singing Get Out and Stay Out is one of the most amazing things I've listened to and I think you should definitely react to more of her some of my favourite performances of hers are The Dance o' Death (9 to 5), I'm Breaking Down (Falsettos), What Is It About Her (Miscast) and If I Could Turn Back Time (The Cher Show)

I got to play Dick (the husband in this scene) in a community theatre production of 9 to 5 a few years back. I loved this scene because I got a front row seat to the perfromance of this song every night. The actress I performed with was also amazing, but you gotta love SJB. I have been a fan of SJB for years and I follow her on Twitter. She seems a good person as well. Thanks for this reaction. Brought back so many wonderful memories.

Love this! You should also def check out Shaylen Harger. She *does not* get enough recognition for how amazing she is. Some of my favs are Out There (Hunchback), Electric Love, and I Can't Make You Love Me. She's worth a listen, you won't regret it!!
