Theres so many references to old animation and clissic cinema I feel like Spark missed here! The weasel gymnast is a direct reference not only to the CHARACTER Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, but also the insane way it was animated!! Her movements all replicate the style and fluidity of the original animation. There's also a point with the horse athlete, a scene where we see him dressed up as death in a chess game with a man. This is a direct reference to The Seventh Seel. There are a lot of ways this movie pay homage to cinema and I love that you made this review! Now that I know about it, i definitely need to see it all myslef.

We made a new remastered version using the German DVD version, and my copy of the original broadcast Winter games, in 2014. It was premiered at CaliFur with Michael Fremer (co-writer, co-director, music editor and voice actor) as our special guest. He loved it!
