Interesting point about how to watch them live - personally when I saw them I literally stood still watching in awe. I love that others can do the circle pit and all other things heavy, but I just didn’t want to miss a single second of watching them all do their thing.
Lol Jinjer is proggy djent groove metal with complex time-signature maze, polyrhythms and multi-genre blending so things always keep shifting as the song progresses😂😂. They are one of the most talented 4-pieces in metal. Tati is one of the best overall metal vocalists and lyricists in the business. I feel lucky to have seen them in a smaller venue this year (400 to 500 people). Always more intimate seeing bands in smaller venues. The entire band is fantastic and Tati has a really magnetic stage presence....she's one of the best frontmen I have ever seen in decades of seeing live music of many genres. Just a terrific band.
I saw them in a small venue a few years back, they were opening for a different band and it felt like most people there didn't really know about them. I was truly appalled that only maybe 50-70 people were in the crowd because with all respect to the main act Jinjer absolutely outperformed them and when I saw Eugene and Vlad in the crowd listening to the band they opened for I got the chance to tell them as much. They were the sweetest, most humble artists I have ever met and I wish them all the best wherever they find themselves in life and in their career.
Follow the cymbals. Good drummers use their ride or crash to set tempo. Also, think in 8 instead of 4. Complex time will sometimes jump harshly, but a form of 8 is usually a safe bet. Just a helpful tip. Not your cup of tea is an appropriate reaction, and wonderfully honest. Keep doing you (I am a hardcore Jinjer fan). Music is meant to be enjoyed.
This may be the first time I have listened to this song. Like you, I have trouble keeping up with this difficult, disjointed rhythm. It is more complex than I Speak Astronomy, IMO. The panning and flashing lights are really distracting. I would not want to be blinded every 2 seconds while trying to enjoy the concert. I would recommend reacting to JINJER - Judgement (& Punishment) - Tatiana Shmayluk - One Take Vocal Performance for a more structured and rhythmic song. I also highly recommended you react to JINJER - Pisces (Live Session). I know you have heard the song before but, as you stated, it has been several years. Thank you Shira🥰
Definitely not a stand and watch type of venue. I was down literally up front for my 1st Jinher concert, in Albuquerque, and right behind me the pit formed and it was freaking awesome. I was by myself. The 2nd time I saw them my daughter and i went to Phoenix and this time we were up in the balcony and even up there people were moshing. Lol.

I think this is in Ukraine so the small venue isn't surprising. Not a big metal scene there apparently. They mentioned it, i don't know personally.
