The groove they keep throughout is key. They're so good at it and that's one of the main reasons I love this band. That, and I have always loved how perfectly clean/clear Tati's vocals come through in her harsh vocals. Even someone who doesn't listen to this stuff as much as I do can understand every word or ALMOST every word she says. So easy to listen to for that reason. Not to mention the poetic meaning to most of, if not all, of their songs. Elite musicians who now how to be technical but still keep a groove with elite vocals = an amazing band that everyone can enjoy.
Jinjer is just on ANOTHER LEVEL of GREATNESS... And i have met them and their manager, and they are so cool and down to earth guys, but so hardworking and focused, like i have seen few in my life... They sure have struggled a lot to arrive to this time and place with this quality! I have a great respect for all of them... Hope this fucking wars around the world all end soon... Жінка за перемогу!!!
They are *SO* good!! All 4 of them. :) This is *A LOT* to take in on first listen. LOL The melody, harmony, rhythmic change-ups, syncopation on top of that.... so much brain-tickling complexity from the lads.... & then Tatiana manages to come up with those vocal lead & harmony lines over the top o_O She doesn't get enough credit for the quality of writing she creates over the lads' already complex music. Hopefully I don't have to wait too long to buy a new Jinjer album. :)
They still manage to have a catchy groove while doing all of the interesting technical stuff and that is really what sets them apart. I completely agree about Tati tying it all together with her melody choices. If you haven't yet watched it, you should check out the Audiotree interview they did. They talk about their writing process a bit and perform 3 songs from Wallflowers in studio.
Jinjer are as a whole, one of/if not the most impressive bands I've seen. They are not top 10 for best songs/genre personally. But as a musician** you can just see how perfect they work together. Drummer effortlessly killing it @ 10/10. Timing together as a group 10/10. Tatijana so unique.
Yo! DC here. Jinjer is my shit! Baltimore is sold out so im not going to be able to see them this year. But I've been down with them for 6 years now. Best band in the last 25 years besides Gojira, Mastodon and Sleep Token. Period!
I like the complexity of the music but then I have a masters in Quantum Chemistry LOL and fell in love with Scönberg's Wind Quintet at age 17 ruclips.net/video/piDeK3vCBOM/видео.html This was my first time hearing Jinjer and was pleasantly surprised
They are one of the best bands out there. 3 outstanding technitions and 1 very talented lyricist/vocalyst . They normally have a jazz foundation but this album is supposed to have a classical bent.
Wish they got just a little love but playing 3rd of 7 bands while opening for Falling In Reverse and Motley Crue sucks.. I probably won't even get there until after they play. This one was more miss than hit for me.. actually has some familiar sounds from older songs. Thnx for the reaction, always fun.
That's not her. 6:48 last chorus. That's a backing vocals not Tati doing a layer. I get it. She's always done her vocals and backing vocals and layers. But that's not her. Not this time.
I have some issues with this video: 1. That’s absolutely not the GoT chair - not a single sword, dragon, or incest to be found. 2. Nobody is walking into a guitar store and pointing to the wall for a headless guitar/bass - they’d be on the floor.
"If you've got headless instruments...." You spend an annoying, and, unneccesarily huge chunk of your time desperately trying to keep the damn things in tune!

THERE'S A NEW PLOT IN YOU SONG 👀😋
you running solo on channel now?
Just while Nathan is on his honeymoon, he’s back this week!
You want some new music check out beyond creation. Earthborn evolution is mesmerizing
I wasn't expecting English Vocals from this band, is the band primarily English Speaking or is most of their discography in a different language?
All English what I’ve listened to!
Only one song that I know of is all Russian, the rest are in English.
One track on their first album is in all russian and the intro for Retrospection is in russian. Everything else is english.
Nobody mentions that one of the guys is singing backing vocals
Which has NEVER happened before with Jinjer
@@DEFKNIGHT what?? who? and where. doesnt sound like that at all

Valid points. Carry on sir.
