- It's been a little while since I made a video about Jinjer, so it got me thinking that I should probably do another 🤔 I've been listening to their 4th LP, Wallflowers, a hell of a lot recently too.

Bro! Brilliant reaction! Instant sub on first discovery. Great technical merits--excellent audio, good screen layout, no bullshit gimmicks. I like that you're standing in front of the boom mic stand. It lets you move around and headbang while maintaining good sound. Kudos.
You nailed it when you said nothing will stand in the way of this band realizing that vision they have of their sound and their mystique. Their ethos of passionate expression is second to none. They put their whole selves into composing, recording, and performing these songs at the highest possible level. The individual egos disappear into a seamless wall of sound. It's a symphony of metal.
Jinjer is my modern day Rush. I'm a full-on Rush nerd, saw them 36x live. Vlad is up there with Neil Peart, though their styles couldn't be more different. Every song is like a drum solo. Eugene might give even Geddy pause. Roman really reminds me of a metal Alex Lifeson, with his intricate arpeggiated lines and exotic chord selection. Each musician is right at the top of the game--but they're all about the team. Like a great classical ensemble. Everything in service of the song and the sound. I'd love to watch Alex and Geddy react to Jinjer! Hey, Alex Zivojinovich might even be able to pronounce Jinjer's last names!
Wait till you see them live! They're so good. I've seen them twice now in the one year since I discovered them. Both times headlining at small venues with general admission, which is highly recommended. If you're like me, you'll be drawn like a magnet to get close enough to see every expression on Tatiana's face. She is the Queen of Metal bro, and once you've been in her royal presence you'll not be the same thenceforward.

So you're a 'bit' of a Rush fan, are you? 😜 I remember watching that awesome documentary of them from a few years back, which turned me on to them. I'm not a superfan but I got hold of a (I think it's 2 or 3 disc) best of compilation. They are such are a great band and masters of their craft. All three of them are awesome players and generally always in Top 100 drummers/guitarist/bassist polls. And rightly so 🤟

All the playthrough videos are unbefuckinglievable! Once I peeled myself off the floor from having been steamrolled by Tatiana, I got my head taken off by Eugene in one of his playthroughs. I just did a RUclips search for Jinjer playthrough and spent a day diving into the deepest rabbit hole of shock and awe. The musicianship is absolutely stellar. For any musician of any genre, just try playing any part of any one song. Every single thing is killer! As a bassist of over 45 years, there is no Jinjer song that is not a serious challenge to play on bass. And it's the same for guitar and drums. The sound of the whole band together is so amazingly tight, cohesive and crammed with symphonic detail, that often the details themselves get obscured. Like you can't see the trees for the forest. The playthrough vids let you hone in on the details of expression. Once I'd seen them, that's when I knew I was all the way in love with Jinjer. They're super inspirational.
Great reaction! This is my favorite version of my favorite Jinjer song! I got to see them live in December and this'll give you an idea of how great they sound! Keep 'em coming!

1st time watching you, great reaction subbed. I think it fun to explore the band from their 1st album and move up. Scissors and Exposed as a Liar are both off their 1st album. It is so fun to see them grow and develop into what they are now. Also having had a chance to meet the band, you are right they are so genuine and just good people. It is no wonder they are still close to ex band mates and leave good impressions everywhere they go.

I think you might be thinking of The Ring. I met her and IMO she's the coolest person on the planet. All of them are. There are a few really good candid videos outside of interviews you could look at as well. Tatiana did a game "Man or Beast" for Revolver Magazine which was a really good video. They did a few Bus Invaders videos on their tour bus which where good. Including one where Tatiana tries to pronounce the word "Whoppers" with her accent in the most adorable way possible. Also a compilation video of Tatiana which includes her doing karaoke of an Adele song and a Freddy Mercury impression.

Most of the song (if not all) is in 3/4. But since Vlad lives in polyrhythms, the song feel changes a lot throughout.
