No issues with the garage door opining and closing. My garage door panels were a little different sizes than the kit. So I had to cut some of the panels to get a good fit. Dry fit them fist to make sure you have a good fit before you stick them in. Just make sure the door is clean and then stick in the panels. As long as they are in nice and tight you should be good to go. They are still nice and tight with no issues after a year. I installed these on my garage door in September of 2020.
Yes I bought 2 kits. I also have a 2 car garage. I am planning to set up a home gym in part of my bigger garage and will be using the rest of the insulation in there. I will need 2 1/2 boxes of insulation for the big garage door. So it will all work out for my 3 car garage situation. They also sell this insulation in rolls. There are more choices now. So you could try taking some measurements and see if that is a better option.
This video was more about how durable these things are. They haven't fallen off or disintegrated yet so that's good. As far as the heat goes they will help a little but for me I live in Arizona and it gets really hot in the summer. So I have a portable AC unit that I use too. I think the garage door insulation really helps for my portable AC unit. It is 96 degrees today and it is 77 degrees in my garage. I haven't had to run the portable AC yet this year. But I am sure that will change in the next few weeks. I will make some more video's with tempter readings.
That's great! I have a box fan in my garage too. The portable AC units don't always move the air around that great so a fan will help a lot too. Good luck in staying cool this summer. Let me know how it works out.
Yes It helps keep the garage warm too. It will not warm your garage but it will help keep the warm air in. Without a heater it will still be cold in there at night. Just be careful with what kind of heater you use. At our old house we put an electric blanket in the carport to keep a stray cat warm and it caught on fire. So maybe some insulated pet beds that don't use any electracy would help keep them warm too. They have some on Amazon that look they have the same type of insulation in them that I put on the garage door.
Thanks for the videos! No issues when the garage door closes and opens?

@@ThatHobby Thank you, sir!
Did you buy 2 kits since one only has 8 pieces? I’m wondering if they sell single panels since some doors are little oversized

Hello. Did these really reduce the temperature in the summer?

Thank you. I installed them and I’m in a hot zone too. I have the AC in there and hope those help too during the 100+ days.
