At the start of ‘Up’ I cried for hours on end. Because it reminded me of my family, and how precious family is. It is one of my long-time favourite films.
Back in 2010, just 2 months after my husband turned 50, he ended up in the hospital with a 35% chance of going home. Every day for 2 weeks I would take our 2 daughters, who were 5 and 7, to see him; the older one celebrated her 8th birthday in his ICU room. Thankfully, he beat the odds & survived. The day we took him home, all 4 of us snuggled up in our room to watch "Toy Story 3" for the first time. It was almost more emotionally than I could take!

Toy Story 3 hit me because watching the toys almost excepting their fate in the incinerator made me almost thought if it was the end of the Toy Story era.
I love this channel for mostly when they for example introduce a movie, like in this video where the bug is going twards the light. The part i like is when after the short clip is over, they display the films name on the screen. The sound it makes when the film name is displayed, the “chachaaak” sound, it’s so cool. It reminds me of brawls sub space emissary when they introduce a character.
There’s actually two really dark moments in Monsters inc. The one this video mentioned, and the scene where Sully thinks Boo went into a trash compactor. You end up seeing him morning over what he thinks is a cube of garbage with Boo’s dead Body in it. It’s really mest up when you really read into it.

These moments are what make the movies good movies and not just squeaky clean kid friendly movies. I say these aren't "way too dark for kids" but just the right balance of being kid friendly and at least including some dark humor to get kids used to the real world.
That scene with Bing Bong is sad but that sassed part about the movie to me that no one ever mentions is that Riley tries to run away, it just breaks my heart!
Another scene from Incredibles which I think is very dark is Bob learning how all the other heroes died. A lot of them were his personal friends. These were people who went in with the desire to help others and Syndrome abused this for his twisted goal.
Same that was dark and especially how the villain was the same kid who idolized Mr. Incredible and wanted to be his sidekick but all Mr. Incredible did was reject him and shun him
I love the Disney/Pixar films but some scenes could have been a little different. For instance, the beginning scene of Finding Nemo where the barracuda supposedly "eats" all the eggs could have gone differently. Coral swam down to save her eggs and while Marlin fought the deadly fish, she fans the eggs pushing them to the back of the cave and into a crack safe and sound. Of course, she missed one. Would be nice to see the family reunite after a long time apart.
And then the baby fish would die because they randomly hatch in this dark hole, where they have no clue about anything that is happening. That would make no sense.
I didn't finish the whole story. The crack lead to another opening away from danger where she cared for them and raised them. This is where Pixar adds their warmhearted touch of a reuniting family.
Man... I just rewatched the Incredibles plane crash scene and something I never noticed before was how Bob was quietly crying in the background after the crash believing his wife and children were dead.
No! I 100% disagree that Pixar’s Toy Story 3 has that dark scene! That scene showed how much they care for each other and that if they were to die, they would all die together. ❤️ It May have been sad if they did die, but the lesson there was that they all accepted the fact that they were going to die but they would all be together, ❤️ So I completely disagree that the last scene there was a dark one. You can dislike this comment, idec. But everyone had their opinions and mine is that: that last scene was sad but beautiful on the inside ❤️🌷
