Dr. Susan I'm so thankful you are addressing this. Seems like I had this postmenopause all figured out. Then after 10 years of postmenopause (without HRT) hot flashes began with a vengeance. Plus craving salt. I have never in my life enjoyed the salty taste of anything. I eat very healthy. I have gained nearly 30 pounds. I am bound and determined to seek out HRT for myself. Hopefully I can find a helpful doctor. I have a doctor that is heading into the postmenopause state. Her Gynecologist just told her low hormones is only natural. I do not want my daughter or daughter in laws to have to suffer as I did at postmenopause. I am 60 years old. Thank you again. I forward some of your videos to my girls and their husbands.
Doc., you hit the nail on the head! Having a person or "team" around you(us) is the key- accountability! We implement a simple practice with friends, where we take a photo of each meal we have everyday, for a week (or however long) and share our "Food photos" on a text thread. No judgment, no comments. Within days we see that our group is eating better and improving! Great segment Dr.!
Dr. Susan, thank you so much for doing these videos. They are so helpful. I wish I could find a physician like you where i live. I live in Georgia near Atlanta and Augusta and i am not on HRT but I probably need to be. If you have any physician recommendations that provide treatment and advice like you do please let me know. Thanks again for your time. Vicki
Thank you Dominique for bringing your channel, your practice and guidance to us. I turned 54 in August and sleep is my biggest issue that I know is effecting my total body. Would love to schedule a virtual consultation from Colorado Springs.
Thanks for this Dr. Susan… the most common question I see on here is that geography is a problem for most of us. We all need more physicians in our regions that take your holistic approach. Have you considered an app with a subscription service? Maybe someone that could provide a list of complimentary Dr.s in various areas esp for the HRT. I am in Ontario so a regular trip to Houston is not in the cards for me. I have your book and wish my family physician would read it. I just followed your podcast and look forward to listening to current and past episodes. Cheers!
Dr. Susan, I wish I could find a physician like you near me. I live close to Little Rock, AR if you have any suggestions please. I’ve had 2 pellets of estrogen and testosterone with 400 mg of oral progesterone and have gained 15 lbs. I cut the progesterone down on my own to 200 which has helped. I’d like to try the Wiley protocol but can’t find a dr. Thank you for any advice. Kim💕
Oh I wish I lived near you. Unfortunately I live in Hampton New Hampshire and both female obgyn that I have dealt with and still do are not for HRT one says she doesn’t believe in it, the other says there’s not enough studies . At least she did put me on progesterone to help me sleep. I’m 64 now is it to late for me to start HRT. ? Thank you
I have learned a lot from Dr. Louise Newson in the UK. I downloaded her app Balance and it has articles and links to studies that can give you the tools to be confident in speaking to your doctor. 🌺

I have a daughter that is going in to peri menopause. Not a doctor. Spell prediction drives me crazy.

Is there any chance to lose weight if I can't take the HRT because of the blood clots?
