Pablo is just way too smooth! Love the chemistry between Scoot & Pablo! Keep up the great work fellas.
My man! I appreciate the kind words! Scott and I love to work together so we are happy you enjoy it too! haha Thanks for watching!
Phew, I was holding my breath watching Pablo try to get the groom's first look! Loved this video guys 😁
Tell me about it! haha Happy you enjoyed it!
Right? Pablo was like, "Obviously you are not ready for me right now.." and from his gesture he was like, "Did i do something wrong.. "and pablo like "iam the vid guy" and he was dead serious asked what video guy and more even funnier when pablo said i will let you shower and all and all, he was like, why i need your permission for that, omygod iam sorry... (in nervous way) did i miss something already i dont know whats goin on this is my first ever wedding nobody tells me nothin! 😂😂
Shoot wedding myself so am no stranger to any of this, yet these are so engaging and interesting to watch! For anyone that is new to Weddings this video will teach you SO much, Seriously great content Scott and Pablo. Also, props on the exposure during the ceremony, that backlighting is intense!
Keep it up brother! Thanks so much for watching. Hope it helps!
Awesome video. Love these videos. Can't wait to see what you come up in the future.
I couldn't wait... *excited.
Pablo! You killed it man! Thank you so much for this video, SO HELPFUL. Keep up the good work. Your customer service skills and the way you handle interaction with clients, guests, and vendors is on point.
It was the first time i've ever joined a Premiere. I thought it was awesome! Very cool to be able to chat live and very grateful to you and Pablo and the cameraman that shot this and whomever edited this whole thing. Insane amount of EXTRA work. thanks for reviving WFS.
We are here for you my friend! Thanks for watching!
So awesome! Thanks for the tips!
GREAT VIDEO GUYS. LEARNED A TON AND WILL APPLY.
Oh man, that moment when everyone stands and completely blocks your safety cam! lol
Why shooting solo is SO stressful
Yes, that's why we don't offer any solo.
Aww... that panic moment we all have. I'm glad I'm not the only one...
Solo is tough. Both Scott and I have done it and we don't offer it anymore. Two shooters is the way to go if you are able!
Love love love this. You guys teach so many amazing points!
Really appreciate you watching! So happy this was valuable for you.
Nicely done guys a lot of good information! Would love to see some post process work flow too! Happy shooting!
Great work guys, amazing content and very professional work flow. Explanation and show of work was great and the edit was on point with transitions and all. Love the content for wedding film school and as well on all your channels. Keep up the awesomeness, love the content on all the channels Scott and thanks again for the tip on the two way radios. Just picked them up and hope to try them soon.
Thank you for sharing it was really helpful
Tremendous stuff ! Pablo, you're a natural narrator! 👍👍👍
Nice BTS video!! Always taking massive action!!
Really good BTS. Some great tips. Valuable info. Thank you guys. Second shooter very professional 👍🏼
This is wonderfully helpful!
Great BTS! Very insightful for what to do and how to improve for my next shoot and defining the roles between first shooters and second shooters
felipe olvera thanks so much for watching! So happy it helped!
The 2nd shooter is very sharp and pays attention to detail its very hard to find guys like Pablo. Nice work.
Great stuff! I've got my first wedding next weekend and have been cramming all the good stuff!
Best of luck my friend! You're going to do great!
Great Video WFS team. It was fun to watch Pablo take the charge. Learned alot. Thanks Scott.
Appreciate you watching my friend. Glad it was helpful!
These are always SO SO helpful - even just seeing the shots that you guys get and how you two work together. Thank you so much for putting this together. Pablo you killed it! Looking forward to shooting more weddings now. I feel all the more prepared!
Thanks for the kind comment and we are glad you liked the video.
Inked Fox Films thanks so much for the kind words! Very happy to hear this was helpful! Keep shooting those weddings my friend!
👍🏼👍🏼 to Pablo! Great job guys!
Thank you very much for doing this. I really like the idea of telling us what are you doing live and not after the fact. As there are so much going on in your head; it really nice to know what you think at that very precise moment. Please keep them coming. Cheers!
So glad this was helpful for you! Thanks for watching!
Solid content fellas! Got my 3rd and 4th weddings next month and this is gold! I especially liked when I could see all the angles in split screen! Thanks!
Best of luck on your weddings! You're going to do a great job!
great content as always.
really good informative video well produced, thanks for the information
thx you for uploading this BTS, i learned a lot man!
Love their work ethic ! 👍🏽
one of the best video for me.. Being a second shooter and their challenges and to see the entire process can help me translate what i need as a main shooter/editor to my partner when we are shooting weddings or any live events. Its easier to see it than to just say it. Awesome coverage scott and pablo!
So happy to hear this was helpful for you! Thanks so much for watching!
Very useful video guys👍
I luv it❤️
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
I love the premiere thing! Keep it please.
L. P. We liked it too! Thanks for watching man!
Great video, super helpful! :)
Jonathan Hornby very happy to hear it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
How to shoot behind the scene ? So basicly i ask you to behind the scene of the behind the scene 😁
Pablo. You are awesome and such a genuine guy!
He sure is.
I really appreciate that my friend! Thanks so much for watching!
Great video, gentlemen. Learned a lot, as always. I hope to nail it the next time I have the opportunity.
BEN! Thanks for watching for! You're going to do a great job!
Professional approach to shooting.
Each country has its own traditions of wedding celebration, but the work of the videographer is almost nowhere and no different))
It would be great to see the final result of this shooting.
Well done, nice to see Your work.
Great job, guys! I shoot weddings and have been a second shooter before - awesome tips!
Sofia Bazzini Productions thanks so much! Glad this helped and keep up the great work!
Great job Pablo!
Thanks so much sir!
Such a positive dude. Keep up the good work Pablo! 👌🏽
My man! I appreciate that! All smiles, all the time! haha Thanks for watching bro!
Nice to hear more from Pablo!!!!
Allen Adventures 4k thanks for listening my friend! Appreciate you watching!
Excellent work! High five to the BTS guy, good job!
Pablo, you look like a boss in this video. We understand how much of an effort it takes to actually work whilst hosting a BTS video, another high five!
A boss? Dang! I don't know about that but I do appreciate that! Glad you enjoyed and I hope it was helpful!
Great quick shots. Uninterrupted contact with the groom and guests.. but your energy seems anxious and stressful. You should slow down your speaking and be yourself... you are modeling your mentors behavior and it's not you. You're great, keep it up
Great insight
Excited to watch all this! Hoping to have a second shooter one day!
You can do it! Find yourself a good second. Train to retain! It's worth it!
This was a perfect BTS! Thanks for the content! Learned a lot.
So happy to hear it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
nice work bro
God Bless this channel!
awesome bts. more please!!!
As always, awesome content! thank you for taking the time to create this! I've already sent this to my second shooter. Also, It's very strange to hear Scott talk so little! 😂. Good job Pablo 🏆
My man! Thanks so much for your kind words! Really appreciate it and I'm so happy it was valuable for you!
Best closed-captioning fail @15:08 "When using the gimp well" :)
I love the videos of the channel, I learn a lot with them and put into practice several things in the marriages I'm filming. Outdoor weddings or in different places are sensational, for the creativity to work. It is a pity that here in Brazil there is no tradition of outdoor weddings, usually in churches. Make more videos with weddings in churches.
So what have I learnt today, that I want to be at a wedding that plays "Tale As Old As Time" for the brides entrance, and lots of valuable information on how best to be the 2nd shooter. Also as I live for candid shots, amazing work.
Being a great second is a skill for sure! Thanks for stopping by - Bobby
Nothin but professionalism! Great job!
Thanks so much! I seriously appreciate that!
Pablo you are solid.
I don't know why people find the whole Premier thing so annoying. Lol. Love the video. Just soaking in the information. Keep the video's coming.
Thanks for watching my friend!
Awesome
Hey bro can I ask what caynde camera do u use for filming wedding
This is EXACTLY what I needed! This is perfect! Sending this link to my shooters right now. Chock full of value. Thanks so much!
SO SO happy to hear this was helpful and valuable! Thanks for watching!
Scott you look so serious! Do you enjoy?;) Great video. Thanks for sharing.
I love what I do. Lots going on during a wedding day, and just making sure we get the job done.
@@WeddingFilmSchool thats the spirit 👊🏻
Hi, I am from India and love watching your videos as it helps me so much in my cinematography. Well I have a request to you, can you please upload a full wedding film, I want to see how you guys make full wedding films. Thanks in advance..
Amazing video content, thank you for creating these! Out of curiosity, I saw Pablo actually using the GH5s; are there certain scenarios you prefer to use the s or is it simply just 1 of your 3 cameras?
I get cooperating with photogs is key. But i loved how the male photog just literally didn't care about your shot of them walking.
All part of the business. It happens.
Jeremy Foster definitely just a part of it. The key thing to remember is never get in their way and shower them with kindness and that will help set you apart. Can’t control them but you can control you. Hope this was helpful my friend!
Pablo is the man!
Jeremy and Jade I appreciate that my friend! Thanks for watching!
As a lone shooter 99 % most of the time, I prefer a Video camera instead of DSLR's for weddings. I can have a shotgun mic and a light attached without a special rig. As a lone shooter how do you handle a B-Cam and C-Cam with the 30 minute time limit on them during long ceremonies? Especially if a locked down one is up on a balcony and a second is a side camera on the alter you cannot access once it all starts? Groom Audio Mic, I use an iPod touch on the groom with a Lav. Works for Vows. No audio interference from wireless anything. Sync up in post is easy. I use a H4N for audio from the DJ for speeches and rest of the night. Hit record and forget about it. Mix in ambiance later in post from a video camera that is recording all night also. Great video too.
Digital Camcorders. Older models used magnetic videotape!@D J
Great content Pablo, there is any new video coming ?
Fantastic BTS Pablo and the team! Keep them coming!
BTW, what's the lens at 15:22?
Great video, very informative. Watch out Scott, Pablo is too good.
Yup, Pablo does a great job. That's why he's on my staff :).
Appreciate the kind words my friend! I take pride in being able to work for and learn from the best. Thanks for watching!
Hey WFS! I found your channel due to the solo wedding video you made that I absolutely LOVED. I am an aspiring wedding videographer, and I just purchased the Canon 5d Mark IV with the 24-70 lens, and I want to know what you recommend I purchase next!
Im debating between getting a monopod and a tripod as well as the glidecam. I know the glidecam is super heavy and takes a while to get used to, so Im worried that will delay my process and stress me out! But, if you were in my shoes, what would you get first, second, and third out of those options? (Tripod, monopod, glidecam)
Have my first wedding in November! And filming lots of little videos here and there until then! Keep up the great work!
I would personally get a monopod first. The Manfrotto MVMXPRO500US XPRO Aluminum Video Monopod will SAVE you. A tripod for wedding videos just doesn't work in the long run having to move around so much. i would then invest in a glidecam (HD Pro) to help produce much smoother shots. I only have these 2 items and my wedding videos have been much better and makes for an easier day. Best of luck!
DJ "get your cameras out...everyone take a picture"
WFS team: insert Michael Scott "NO" GIF
HAHA Love it!
Thank you guys for another very useful video.
One thing I've been thinking about for a while and I got to ask:
How do you deal with focus? Especially while recording? I see that during ceremony and a few other moments you let the camera roll all the time and the focus gets adjusted, is that manual? Because the AF-Lock doesn't work while shooting on the GH-5 , right?(At least not on mine) Or is there any settings to allow that?
Thanks again, would be grateful for an answer
Guys loved the video! What lights are you using for the speeches and b-roll shots? They look super simple, easy to use and decent quality. BTW I'm not after a gear list link, just the lights if possible? Thanks for the awesome content. 💪
cttathletes they are torch LEDs my friend! Link to them should be in our gear list!
@@PabloFarnan yeah I checked that, but couldn't see them on there. 🤔 Any ideas?
I am big time follower of your works..which lense is that used while Groom prep?
great to see this, good content! what light are you using for the hair light?
Same as front light. TorchLED
Thanks bud! We use torchLEDS! Appreciate you watching!
BROS!! (Scott, Pablo, BTS shooter) Excellent BTS!! Pablo... fantastic info my friend... It's so nice to see these BTS's and understand, that if you are a novice to weddings or a pro, you can always learn and get insight for how well or better you can do on the next one... Keep these coming!!! Kudos...
Suggestion: Can we get a BTS of your shoot -to- editing thought process? What goes through the mind as are preparing for the editing process?
Thanks again...
Great idea.
Thank you so so much for your kinds words my friend! The fact that this was valuable for you means so much to us! Great idea! We have so many ideas for this channel so this is a great one to add to our list! Thanks for watching!
Hi! Do you ever use a small monitor for film making with Sony mirrorless cameras? And with gimbals?
Hey great video do you guys ever get a reaction shot of the couples speeches I notice you get alternative angles for the speech giver but I didn’t see any shots of the couple during the speech
We actually get majority of the couple reactions. We said that when we talked about reception lighting. Notice, if you watch it back, we said, the "hair light" for the speech giver, seconds as a light for the couple reaction shots. We just did not have it in this particular BTS. Sorry for the confusion there!
Do you have a link to the final wedding video to see how it all came together. Great POV of second shooter world. Thanks for doing this!!
Just updated the description, thanks for the reminder. ruclips.net/video/IU8TKdzlx4Y/видео.html
Sean Openshaw thanks so much for watching! Link is in the description my friend!
Not to be weird but Pablo’s voice is incredible
Dang man! I really appreciate that! Haha hope this video helps!
@@PabloFarnan for sure! Gonna link this to my second shooters!
Trey Keys do it! Hope it can help them out!
Hello WFB I would like to ask a question, will I be able to make a wedding with a canon t6.
Thanks for the video mate, I need a monopod with a video head. i saw your video in 2017 about the Sirui P-424SR, do you still use this one in 2019?. (im a solo shooter) Thanks @walocortes
What lighting are you using for reception?
Awesome content! Finally we get to see "The Life of a Second Shooter" great job WFS! My only concern is the audio. I see that the lav is under Pablo's tie, so there are times that the tie rubs against the lav creating noise. Maybe clipping it under the collar or just in front of the tie will be best. What do you guys think?
We don't over stress that. It's about the content. Trying to get perfect audio for an 12 hour BTS day isn't possible. We do the best we can.
@@WeddingFilmSchool I'm not saying it was annoying. It was something that I noticed. I think the BTS Camera operator should've caught that in the beginning since Pablo was using a wireless lav. Overall great content! :)
So glad this was valuable for you! thanks for watching!
Do you ever mess with ND filters? it was crazy bright out there and you still have a a really shallow depth of field in a lot of shots
What are you guys using to communicate with each other?
What was the old Torch lights you used to use?
hope you can share some shot list in wedding
so powerfull
The GH5's auto focus is not good. How do you focus on the stabilizer? Which focal length is used?
Good video! It would be better if you used the lenses on the shots directly on the video.
Scott is it necessary to have a vision mixer/video switcher with multiple cameras connected during ceremony if you have less crew to operate the cameras?
I'd never do live switching regardless. Always in post.
Always wanted to see Pablo’s perspective cause normally it’s Scott’s. Cool
Where is the full vid of this sir? Thank you..
Очень красивая работа. Какими фильтрами вы пользовались на линзах ?
When outside are you guys using ND filters or just turning your shutter speed up??
Glad to know Pablo sweats as much as I do on a Wedding day lolol. I'm never tired I just sweat so easily.
Groom seemed like a straight d-bag! Pablo you dealt with it great! ALL SMILES RIGHT!?
The groom was a great guy, we had no problem with him.
The groom was actually an awesome guy! Had no issues with him whatsoever but I couldn't agree more! ALL SMILE, ALL THE TIME MY FRIEND! haha Thanks for watching!
No I understand that it’s always weird micing up a groom but at 21 minutes in it was funny
Pablo is so cool that makes other looks like assholes :P
Is the photography team from the same company? if not, do you get in contact with each other earlier for sharing the plan or do you figure it out throughout the day like in the 28:50?
Hello, which temperature led light you use?
VIDEO&MUSICEditor “torch LEDs” they should be in our gear list in the description!
