Use to get so worried shooting weddings, literally would sweat my ass off. Obviously after shooting more weddings I got more comfortable, but watching Kraig just be super relaxed in these videos, it is good example/inspiration for me to just relax while shooting them
Thank you for all your videos. I'm shooting my first wedding this December. I'm keep coming back to your videos watching it over and over again. To be honest I'm super nervous.
I just came across this video. At 7:05 time line, Kraig says "When in doubt, follow the photographer". That got a laugh out of me. Yes, I am a wedding photographer, LOL!
Useful video, thanks! In your next backstage video could you please explain more about using monopod vs handheld techniques while shooting and when do you prefer monopod or handheld. Your recommendation will be much appreciated!
Shooting my third wedding video after 9 months more of experience, and I'm super excited! I upgraded to better cameras, all pro lenses, and audio equipment. I REALLY think this will be the last one I have to use all the money for rentals!
ibrahim alhanif Undeniably some people has encountered moire problem when using a7ii. But so far in my case, I have no problem with that, maybe because I rarely shoot on footage that has patterns or stripe subjects. LOL. If I were, it must be minor moire which is barely noticeable. To reduce the moire effect when shooting, you can try to decrease the sharpness a lil bit in your camera setting. Also you can fix moire in post.
Do you guys in the US not have any laws relating to drones? Kraig seems to just shoot it upwards wherever he happens to be. Don't think we could get away with that in the UK. Laws are very strict about flying near areas of population.
2:19 i rather made the bride's engagement ring close with the other in this clip, because having them three separated looks like they are 3 person, hmm
no way ... you was hired to do video by your second that you was so "no cool" to in your BTS video ... wow!!! I'm shocked but that's awesome! hope you gave him good discount :)

"Is it recording?" One of the most commonly asked questions next to "Are you taking pictures?" ...wedding videography at it's finest.
always love your videos kraig, i love your monopod too.
Awesome man!! I did my first wedding 2 months ago, mostly photography. But before I made it to the church, I looked at a few of your videos. Thanks!!

Great!
Love this videos we learn a lot!
Thks from Portugal!
Eu sempre quis ver seus vídeos prontos, onde posso ver? 😀
I think it’s cool that your 2nd shooter is now your client. Congrats Alan and Martha.
:D
I thought you were going to say, for movie inspiration.. Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind ;)
I love seeing the behind scene and I'm a fan of your work but how in the world are you able to see you monitor when outdoors?
Looks like he's using sony which has a digital viewfinder so it can be used even in video mode
Haha, Love Alan! This is great and was awesome to watch this go down.
I'm a big fan of your work.
Why did you switch to Canon for Sony?
Really nice Vid, Thank you for the tips
Oh, man, I wish I could get a dollar every time I hear Uptown Funk playing in the background of these Behind The Scenes
Hi I watch your videos all the time, what camera settings do you use on the drone to match your dslr or as close a match as possible. Tia
How about weekend at Bernie's for inspiration! Love your videos.
Priest: Do you Alan take Martha to be your lawfully wedded Wife?
Batman: WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME!?!?

Very inspiring video bro
Hey Kraig, do you ever use a grey card to set white balance or just go by eye and set the kelvin?
I wouldn't have the balls to fly the drone at this strong winds :O Chapeau kraig
17:38 iso 6400 1/160!! Wow
shouldn't he + increase the shutter and decrease the ISO ?
Kraig do you have an example of a wedding doc edit? Just curious to see.
At 17:33 it says his shutter is 1/160.
Amy body know why it would be so high?
Wasn’t the groom (Alan) Kraig’s second shooter in one of the past videos?
YUP:D
When the groom said "ddaaa mmmnnnn" 😂
Yup :D
do you use filters to the lenses? when is quite sunny?
I noticed you didn't use the tascam dr-10L lav setup in this video, but used the zoom h1. Did you go back to the h1's?
Is the 'first look' a common thing in the US? I film weddings in Australia and have never seen it done!
Why did you change 5D to the Sony A7?
Amidst all these gear related questions, I have a fashion related question for you. What brand is your jacket? I like that 😉
Nice shape right? Looks like the same brand differrent color
? ruclips.net/video/bhJzF0PRGoU/видео.html
How long are you dock edits?
you do not use nd filters?
probably no time to fiddle with those filters on a stressful wedding day. for most of the shots you can't tell the differnce anyway.
how about sony a7ii for wedding film ?
No problem. Im using a7ii for my wedding film tho. I love it. Still I hope one day I can get enough saved money for a7sii and 16-35mm. LOL
thanks for your information but how about moire on a7 ii because i look some people say that moire is problem on a7ii for video ??

I like to see your work..... I hope I can meet you someday to work togather at wedding ....I work for wedding film to here....
I love that backpack/cover for your phantom case, but I can't seem to find it any where! What's it called?
Does anyone know on what fps he is shooting?
Andy Mineo to start off the video? Winning
YESS!! I was hoping someone else noticed too!! HAHHAHAHAHAHHA :D
Why do you say you can't trust the EVF? Thanks
Canon? Sony?
Sony

Why have you hid the Sony logo on your camera?
No ND Filters? Shutterspeed 1/160? ISO 6400? Whats going on here?
no way ... you was hired to do video by your second that you was so "no cool" to in your BTS video ... wow!!! I'm shocked but that's awesome! hope you gave him good discount :)

It's that Alan who usually work with you as second shooter?? if i am not mistake (lol)
I knew that I've seen this guy somewhere as a second shooter!! true
YUP :-)
Why does the photographer looks like Littlefinger 😂😂
Is it just me, but Kraig seemed pretty fed up about doing weddings recently...He mastered it. So it's probably no longer a challenge for him.
What is a must have type of lense..?
Jim Maina You can find his wedding making kits on kit.com or his video description.
A wide to Tele zoom and then a nice medium prime
For weddings a 70-200 and a fixed lens (35mm or 50mm)
What are the two words?!
i wonder if kraig misses doing this....
In talking to him, I’d say no. - Jay
@@WeddingFilmSchool 🥺
Have you watched the podcast with him from spring?
@@WeddingFilmSchool no sir....where can i watch it?
Take a shot every time Kraig says One Direction
Did you really give the weather a 10/10 rating?
