I've had my Z9 for about 5 months now, and enjoy it more every time I shoot it. Once set up properly, it's so incredibly fast to adapt to any situation. Thank you, Nikon!
Can also do the shut curtains on the Z6ii and Z7ii, all you got to do is take battery when turned on and it should close and turn it back on and press shutter button once you have changed lenses
I have a Nikon d70s camera. When I press the playback arrow to view an image, I get a 9 image collage and I can’t get a histogram on the image. How do I get back to a single image on the screen? Thanks.
Ricci and Neil: Thanks as always and you covered some valuable ground (albeit very quickly). These shorts, although valuable, are beginning to feel like short commercials. The details of when to use each focus mode (when they work best) was really glossed over and I was surprised to hear when you were talking about having fast enough card write speeds to clear the buffer you didn't mention using HE*. These shorts provide snippets of good information (if you already know the camera and are listening carefully), but do not dive into any of them in enough detail to make it very useful. In particular, I was confused by the comment that using a feature like C1 with subject detection was like using single point - as things like eye or body reflections on water etc are frequent distractions for the camera in Area AF modes or 3D. Also surprised you didn't mention dynamic for tracking (without animal eye detect) as many people feel this mode is more reliable in certain circumstances. I suppose, what I would like in a future video, is the areas in which the Z9 struggles, and how best to deal with those situations or recognize them in advance (i.e. horizontal lines).
My only complaint is really the way that the shooting banks are setup… if you store your camera with a setting… it reopen with it.., not my dedicated setup like other Z (I had the 6 and the 7ii)… would prefer to have the choice!
I have a question and was not able to find an answer to: Is there a way to create shortcut for selecting AF Subject Detection mode (meaning assign it to one button)?
Hi Piotr, Sorry for the time it took for us to reply. To assign AF Subject Detection (AF-Area Mode) to a camera button, please press Menu-> Custom Settings-> f2(for photography) or g2 (for video).
Oh my god Nikon what are you guys doing? This random guy right here doesn't care about your products, ig you all are going to get bankrupt now🥲 What a f-ing bozo
